I can see why you tinker around with your gear, your rigging skills are just mind blowing which says to me that you must have gone home each night & said how can i make this job safer, better, faster with the structures that are in close to these huge trunks, you have it down to a fine art.
dat was geen vergissing. de boom van beschadigde voor rigging of trekken. mijn veiligheid is meet dan een goedkope scherm waard. bovendien waren ze overdoen dat held gebouw toch ;)
My first thoughts exactly, Lawrence! I don't know if my tie-in point would have been in the tree with that damage :-). Btw, Google translator sucks big time, but thanks for the effort :-D.
LawrenceSchultz3000 It's allright. I'm thankful you take that kind of trees. I have still a lot to learn before I can take these ones! Check out my movies.Greetz from the Netherlands
...PfannerMan in action ! Cheers for your's good job (and I love as well all this american hops in my craft beer I'm drinking now) - salutation from Poland :-))
You got me with the lightning strike log effect to the music while I am trying to work out if it is Jethro Tull or not and still shaking my head at the munted tree/dropzones that you work in. Its very cold and miserable over here now I hope you are making the most of the summer ;)'
funny, it very hot & miserable here ;) the band is Rush & that's exactly what Pfanner man's gotta do to get the tree in those small drop zones on time.
Was groovin' to the Farewell To Kings album recently. Its the one that got me into Rush. Haven't seen a video from you in a while - the changes to RU-vid may be the reason for that; or, have you actually not put up too many the past couple months(?)...I see you're keeping busy, I'm glad to see that! Stay safe! Lots of great work weather down in Jersey this year...
Absolutely do enjoy! ( and, please note that I didn't say a WORD about the screen, like so many other guys couldn't resist doing!!!) Urban work is a whole nuther beast. Haven't done anything in Brooklyn for a few years, but last time I did (Green Point), it was crazy tight and tall. Always fun, shooting lines from one brownstone to another...not!
I've said it before Lawrence, would love to hang and watch you work those rigging setups. Almost gets routine for ya' after a while eh? Very nicely done on all points, even the screen at 0:46 , no big deal. ;~) Love the closing video pan, Pfanner man keeps the city safe for another day. Be safe young fella and keep up the good work. Randy
Hands down you are one of the best riggers I have seen on the Tube especially since most of your work is riddled with all sorts of obstacles below. How's the T540 treating you? It is such a good saw to have on the ground or in the air. Keep up the good work!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but looked like you were using the THT with a half inch line once or twice there. If you were, give me some feed back on how that worked out, 95% of what i do is on 1/2" and im consider a THT. and only a THT, no imitators. thanks in advance, if you do get the time to respond.
works great but it's not meant to replace a lowering device, just reduce forces at the rigging point. u can hold smaller weights w/o an LD (like 250lbs) but when u get to bigger stuff, harder angle swings or neg rigging ur gonna need it
