Whoever the DoP on Letterkenny is, has definitely watched some Edgar Wright comedies. Framing can be funny. Things entering and leaving the frame can be funny.
I feel like the one where Wayne was on a date and he didn't know what to do with his hands, so he cycled through a few different poses really quickly until he found a good one should be on here
That date with the feminist psychologist was so cringe. I gotta do a re-edit with that one in it for the next iteration! Gonna drop a Shoresy one pretty soon. That show is great!
Ending on that last clip was a stroke of genius. Additionally, the absolute best thing about Wayne standing up underneath the beam at 00:35 is that he stays like that for the rest of the scene
Can anyone help with a song identification, or at least identify an episode for me? 3:33 - the woman Wayne's with, screen resolution sucks and I can't tell who that is There's a song playing, and I'd love to know who that is.
I'm from south west Wisconsin. I Really appreciate the humor that all these very talented people have. Its freaking hilarious. I love the show. And a shit ton of people I know love it to. Keeps up the good works there bud.
Does anyone remember the American humour magazine, The National Lampoon (written by many Canadians as well)? And does anyone remember the comic strip therein titled, "Timberland Tales," written and drawn by B.K. Taylor? It featured a cast of Canadian archetypes such as, Dr. Rogers, Kathleen, Maurice the "Indian Boy" (some call him the "Joker") and, my favourite, the RCMP Constable Tom (rumoured to have a small amount of brain damage). Timberland Tales was pretty much a precursor to "LetterKenny;" same kind of dry, prairie humour, love of word play, lots of rustic jokes, an undercurrent of twisted sex and Wayne bears a striking resemblance to Const. Tom - same somewhat stunned look around the face, especially the narrow eyes. The framing of the show, what they call the "mise-en-scène" is very reminiscent of cartoon panels as well. Anyone? Anyone?
I do! Thanks to wokeness nothing made in America is truly humorous anymore though. “Animal House” is still one of the finest pieces of cinema ever made.
I love the one where he's hammered and walking around then sits down then all of a sudden gets back up and goes to Dary and talk shit like he's trying to start a fight. And kept doing it
I haven't a single god damn thing about Letterkenny on RU-vid, only on Hulu. How the everliving fuck does youtube know about my interest in Letterkenny.
He's the main character in "Letterkenny" which started on Crave and is now on Hulu in its 10th season. This is the clip that got me interested. Had to look up the hockey jargon myself ("fourth line for life bro") but somebody posted an online jargon guide luckily. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9rSBmOgpcDE.html&ab_channel=LetterkennyProblems
I think they might be using one of the knockoffs like Chair Scoot or Standing Up Sound. These days Geddy bought a place in the Coches and mostly snowboards all day, so I doubt it’s the original.
