Hello, I so enjoy watching your videos. FYI I followed your directions for growing tomato plants in containers last season, and my production was just amazing, & here in Ann Arbor Michigan I had multiple reports from other people (including my Dad) that said their tomato plants did horribly last season all while mine were thriving as never before. THANK YOU!

WOW, Keypha, thank you for the great news and thank you personally for your very kind comment. Hope you enjoy the same success this season.

These eucomis bulbs remind me a bit of frittilaria, or Crown Imperial bulbs. Are they related to each other? I planted some frittilaria this past autumn but the foliage has not yet begun to emerge.

kso808, I don't believe they are related except that they both are members of the Liliaceae family. Fritillarias are native to many areas of the Northern Hemisphere, but exclusively the Northern Hemisphere. Eucomis are native to South Africa which, of course, is the Southern Hemisphere, but also the tropical regions of the African continent south of the equator. Thanks for the question.
