you’re so right about Mr. Daniels and Olivia. every scene with them was borderline unbearable to my psyche but otherwise this was really fun!! I truly do love this show sm I really really hope some other streaming service picks it up

Does this mean I'm a THESPIAN??? 😮 I literally had the same reaction as you, but, being a "thespian" (wink wink), I sat there wheezing for five minutes at that joke!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Also, I'd like to mention the reaction Lydia has to the "it felt so real" line from Cynthia. It was clear that she thought Cynthia had figured out her own "thespian-ness" already, and then in less than half a second did a bunch of queer math and fixed her face to not freak out Cynthia. That is some great covering and major props to Lydia's actress for doing that whole journey in a blink and you'll miss it moment ❤ ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🏳‍🌈🏳‍🌈🏳‍🌈

Rewatching this show you really see Susan’s and buddy’s growth and I love that ❤

I'll be honest, I was not a fan of the show..... but the idea of a property so quickly being erased from availability without even a physical release is just odious.

I'll admit it, I had a soft spot for Buddy since the first episode, and the journey that he went on really got to me. I was honestly like, he could end up with Jane or Hazel and I wouldn't complain. He's proving that he's becoming a loyal lover boy.

11:56 I know this sounds extremely stereotypical of me, but I just suddenly wondered if the white guy who said "we have been welcoming Italians into our club for almost five years now" might be a closeted gay man. Though I think I mostly wondered that because for a second I thought he looked a bit like John Waters without the moustache and then realising he didn't really (and in any case John Waters would never shave off his iconic moustache).

I love this series so much, being a grease fan. How do you like it?

#SaveROTPL Idea I had for season 2 - for Mrs Facciano and Wally to both get a bit of a rude awakening when they both watch the 1948 Gregory Peck movie 'Gentleman's Agreement'. A reporter decides to pretend to be Jewish for a month or two to get a fresh angle on antisemitism in America, not really getting that its kind of messed up to do (the woman who wrote the book the movie was based on was Jewish and that was the plot line of her book as well) and even though as his soldier best friend who actually is Jewish pointed out to him that 'you're trying to fit a lifetime experience into a few weeks' (the actor who played the best friend John Garfield was actually Jewish and usually played the tough guy lead character rather than the secondary best friend role but he wanted to be in this movie in that role) and discovers about the other lesser kind of racism, the people who don't say racist slurs or throw stones but who still believe that they're superior or blessed to be born Gentile instead of Jewish and whenever they're called out for their prejudiced mindset get upset and accuse the other person of heckling them, the kind of "nice" people who when they hear someone else say a racist or prejudiced slur to try and get laughs don't laugh and despise the person who said it but who don't say anything themselves and let it slide, "the people who hate it and despise it help it along and then wonder why it grows". The main scene I'm thinking of in regards to Mrs Facciano and Wally being the storyline with the secretary who is Jewish and didn't get the job when she applied under her real name but got the job when she applied under a changed name, but when the magazine she works for changes its employment policy says "You don't really want things to change here do you?", "I mean, just let them let one or two of the bad ones in and it's going to come back on us" because she believes that she's the "right" kind of Jewish person so she deserves to work there and says "It's no fun being the fall guy for the Kikey ones", so she's also developed an internalised racism against herself basically and is as good as letting prejudice thrive because she's as good as supporting it. I want to hear more of Wally's story and I wanted to see him and Mrs Facciano wonder if they're supporting the same people who would tear them down in a second if they had the chance.

The songs are to modern for this era where are the 50'60' feel i watched many youtube videos of this show and it feels all wrong it just doesn't fit its like there trying to caters for the modern younger generation with a more modern songs but set the show in a classic 50's times with the cars costumes and environment settings why is just dont work. Shame as it all looks good i do like it but the songs just doesn't fit its a miss match should of made a more modern looking show instead of trying to use the grease name and look to get people interested to it but leaving out the main music that the show is set in.
