Grandal and Hedges OPS last year is exactly the same. So, when if you factor in Hedges defense is actually better then yeah I'd say he's a better player. Same with Santana / Tellez. The team's signings this year were actually a step back. Also Suwinski is about 30 at-bats away from being qualified hitter. If he was, he'd be next to last in OPS and Batting Average. He's dead last in MLB in WAR. Arguably the worst everyday player in MLB

Hey, what does "holding them accountable" mean? Benching them, cutting them, yelling at them? Media who never played or coached love to say "hold them accountable" but never explain what that means. If you have a bad podcast should we hold you accountable? What would that exactly mean?

It means own up to the mistakes that are being made. Own up to bad plays, bad decisions, etc. if my show is bad, and someone tells me something I can improve about it, I take it honestly and truthfully and fix it. Or at least attempt to

Ethan ...until the philosphy of the orgization is to lead the league in complete game shutouts. this team will stay in the middle of the centrral divison for awhile. I have no problem taking the starter out if you are losing but never ever take the ball out of his hand while this team is winning. one exception. the starter tells you he is done. please look back a how the game was played during the times billy martin coached the oakland athletics, this is what we should be doing with our starters.

By accountability, do you mean benching them? If so, we have plenty of sub 200 hitters to take underperforming players' places. There are no options there. If you mean Shelton having heart, showing some anger, i agree. This team has more holes than swiss cheese, and the cavalry isn't coming, EVER. The manager sucks, but we have to have the worst scouting and player development in the league.
