Boys, you're really helping me on my questions. I'm learning about the heavenly Father, I'm reading the book of Mormon and I'm praying to know it's all true. I'm really happy with the things I'm just discovering every day. My missionaries are doing a very great job. I would like to tell you the day I stop them on the street and ask to convince me to accept the Lord as my Savior. I've been around for almost 1 month, I went to the Sunday Church and I still in love with Lds. Thanks for helping me. Hugs from Brazil.

I am 16 and i have grown up Bisexual in a Baptist denomination. My mum does not support me in the LGBT+ community or leaving the Baptist denomination. I have really been looking into LDS and I am very very interested. I had some missionaries come by yesterday and I talked to them and got links and references and I cannot read enough. I am going to a cafe with them soon to talk again. Any advice as to how to become LDS and be baptized, I would gladly accept! I really would like to become LDS but am scared of my mum. Any advice?

Hey Macy! I would encourage you to watch our Gay and Mormon video to hear what it's like for someone who's lds in the LGBTQ community! And I'd also encourage you to pray for the strength to hold your ground and stand up for what you believe! God wants us in his church, and nothing is stronger than him :)

I will have to point out something Macy. Until you are at least 18 and accountable for your own self, Our church would say you have to wait to be baptized. This applies even to members who are not faithful and have children who want to be baptized, and the parents are against it. You just have to as Kwaku said be strong, but you may also have to be patient.

@Jesus Defender The church does not accept single people living in same sex couple relationships whether they are married or not. All who join the church who have LGBT issues must remain single and celibate if they are not married. That's the cost of discipleship in the kingdom of God... And here you are bragging all about God like the Pharsiee while there are those of us who cant even lift up our heads up to heaven and say, Father, have mercy on me a sinner. So those of us who are converted to the Lord have a totally different attitude to our standing before God for our sins and shortcomings than you show. I think you need a reality check and learn a little bit of humility before you start bragging and boasting about all your knowledge of the bible..Because without humility it means nothing.

In all honesty, and actuality, some people have so many challenges in life and some don't, it varies so much to the point of it's not just... so in saying that, it's so much easier for someone to be good for instance that has no challenges or very few and minor compared to someone with so many major challenges constantly, how can this be compared... there's no comparison, it's hard for me to explain, I know exactly what I mean though
@SaintsUnscripted
@SaintsUnscripted Год назад
You're right, everyone faces different challenges in life, and what might appear easier to one person can be more difficult for another. It's important to recognize that challenges are subjective and unique to each individual. What may be difficult for someone else could be easier for us, and vice versa. It's a reminder that we all have our own battles to fight, and it's not about comparing or ranking difficulties but rather supporting and understanding one another's journeys. Your point captures the intricate nature of challenges and how they can vary from person to person. Thanks so much for sharing!

Rosie The Budgeter 1 Corinthians 15:40 40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. This talks about how after the resurrection there will be these 3 degrees of glory that we can be placed in according to our hearts, desires and actions. This is where people confuse grace and works. We can do all the things we need to and live as good of a life as we can, but without grace we have no hope. So we are still saved by grace, hands down. But we definitely are REWARDED according to our works just as it says in the last chapter of Revelation. Right now there is spirit prison for people who are decent people but have not accepted the gospel, spirit paradise for people who have accepted the gospel and have chosen to live the best life they can and outer darkness where really bad people go to pay for their bad behavior and the. They have the chance to receive a second chance at one of the 2 lower degrees of glory if repentant.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your beliefs. I am a Christian who relies solely on the bible and not any other doctrine. What do you make of the story of the poor man and Lazarus, and also the many times that is mentioned if the place where there will be "weeping and gnashing Of the teeth". Also 1 corinthians 9-10 which lists a bunch of types of people (which is essentially all of us as we are all sinners) that will not partake in the kingdom of heaven. - Whereas you have said those like Ghandi and Hitler Will be able to partake of God's kingdom, yet not be with him because they choose not to be. God also says that sin cannot enter his kingdom. Which is why hell was created. For Satan and his angels who chose to follow him. But also those people who choose to do so also.

Hi there is actually hell that did not mentioned in the video, that is the Outer Darkness, those people who do not accepted Jesus Christ and do not perform Baptism by water and do not receives the Holy Ghost through Jesus Christ can be go to Outer Darkness or hell, where weeping and gnashing of teeth were happen, that place is Satans place, that 3 Kingdoms that mentioned in video were taught in 1Corinthians 15:40-42, I would like to invite you to pray and ponder that chapter and ask Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ about your questions and about the 3 Kingdoms that has been written in the 1Corinthians

Think of person that dont know about baptism or dont know all of Gospel of Christ because he cannot read or he is blind, and nobody teaches him about these things, but he know that God lives because her or his parents taught him about Christ so he believe in Jesus Christ, but after that person died without performing Baptism, how can he be able to save or enter into Gods Kingdom? if we need baptism to enter into His Kingdom, then that will enter the lesson that has been taught in the video about the Spirit World where Jesus Christ preach their His Gospel before His resurrection that can be read in the Bible, so it clearly said that there is a Spirit World after we died and have a chance to learn His Gospel, but what about baptism? if he didnt perform any baptism when he lives on earth, then that is what we could the Baptism for the Dead that also mentioned by Paul in the Bible that can only perform in Holy Temples through a living person, then during judgement days, Jesus Christ will judge us according to our works and those who stand spotless and know His Gospel and had perform baptism and receives the Holy Ghost before the last days can enherit Celestial kingdom where Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives, but how about that blind man that he learned nothing about the Gospel of Christ before he died and didnt perform baptism but he accepted Jesus in his life? do you think he can go to hell? for me hell is for sinners and didnt accept Jesus in their lives, but that blind man accepted Jesus and didint perform any kind of serious sins even he have no idea about Gods Gospel? So Jesus Christ will judge him and he can enherit Gods kingdom but not the kingdom that where Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives, but when that blind man accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Spirit World and then someone performed a baptism for him in the earth, then he has a chance to enherit Celestial Kingdom, God loves us so much that he will always make a way for us to live with Him someday, and He always gives us a chance even we died innocent or dont have any chance to learn the Gospel.

Those of you who are exploring Mormonism. Read Hosea 11. "For I am God and not a man, the Holy One present among you." And Eph 3 "in God who created all things." Mormons believe that God the Father, or Heavenly Father, as they call him, has a body of flesh and bones and was once a man like us who became perfected. God Himself tells us who he is. Mormons also believe that God did not create things, that he organized things. I am not sure who their god is but He is not the One, the Mighty and everlasting God that Christians worship. Our God always was and always will be, was always perfect and never a man. They also believe that their god was a spirit child, a product of Heavenly Father and one of his heavenly wives, and is a brother to Satan. Please pray to the one true God, before you make a huge mistake.

You will be corrected about the Father when you get to the other side of the veil but the Father has a tangible glorified resurrected body the same as the Son..... God organized everything from already existing matter, just look in your books of science. Worlds were not created out of nothing, but created from already existing matter from broken pieces of other worlds.... That's why the elements are billions of years old.
@germanslice

Our understanding of God is a kingdom of God a society of God under the Father's rule, your understanding of God is just seems to be about the Godhead. But we believe the Godhead to be the high ruling council over the kingdom of heaven. Since its a kingdom of God, we know there is a society of God that exists in the kingdom of heaven. or Celestial Kingdom were it not so Jesus would not have said a kingdom of God exists.. Nor would he said in my Father's house are many mansions if there was no kingdom of God to inherit. As for the torn veil. Paul was still worshipping God in the temple, busy doing washings and purification ordinances for himself and for others inside of the temple even after the death of Jesus and Jesus also appeared to him in the temple in resurrected form while he was still praying to God the Father. so the temple was still a holy sacred place with the ordinances of God in force even after his death.. Now just who is the God that Jesus Christ worships as God? is it himself, or is it God his Father. Answer: God the Father. For Jesus never worships himself or take the glory for himself but always gives the glory and the honour to God his Father. This is what the scriptures teach. I know all matter is eternal in nature and that can be organized and also reorganized to bring worlds together or to pass them away (break them apart). which is done by the word of God to bring to pass worlds into existence by his command and also to break them up again into dust clouds ready to use the elements all over again to form another new world if God so wishes, that is what I believe concerning all the uninhabitable worlds that God created. But as for this planet that is inhabited, I know the earth will after the thousand year millennium be crowned with the glory of the Father's for the angles and the saints to live on for their inheritance. I know all things are created spiritually first before they are created temporally. For example the spirit bodies of Adam and Eve had existed with God before their own physical bodies were even created from out the dust of the earth. But you keep saying lies, blasphemy, and heresy to us when we teach these biblical truths, but its supported right there in the standard works in Chapter 1 and Chapter 3 of the creation Genesis about the spiritual creation of man and also the physical creation of man....I know in the resurrection both the spirit body and the physical body will be brought together never to be separated again. Therefore you are incorrect to conclude that our spirits did not exist before our mortal bodies were created. Which is why we believe that our spirits had pre-existed with God in the beginning made from the same eternal spirit element that God is also made from. However the difference with God our Heavenly Father is that he already has a eternal spirit already housed inside of a glorious immortal resurrected body of flesh and bones and has reached his full potential while we his spirit children housed in these mortal bodies of flesh and blood haven't reached that stage of development but have inherited our Father's powers in embyro form (undeveloped) and so those powers need to be developed and that's what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about, it's a program from God to develop all the spiritual attributes of God that lead to Godliness. But you cry and say, becoming like God is of the devil. that shows how little that you understand about the Father's Plan Of Salvation for the eternal growth and development of his children. Godliness is one of the attributes of God that the saints must develop along with Faith, Hope, Charity, Meekness, Long-suffering, paitence, Integrity, and all the rest of God's many attributes. Jesus condescended down from heaven to set the example and grew spiritually when he came down to the earth. He had to overcome opposition in order to reach his full development to become just like his Father. So Jesus did walk the path to Godhood to his Father because there was simply no other way for Jesus to get to the stage his Father is already at. For Jesus had increased daily in wisdom and knowledge as he grew from a child to an adult so did his spiritual growth and capacity also increase as he grew in the ways of his Father..... Jesus did not have all of his Father's powers in their fullness, but he had inherited them. so Jesus grew from grace to grace until he obtained the fullness of the Father.

so how does this fit into Romans 5?
@scottb4509
@scottb4509 3 года назад
The Mormon application of salvation is on a different level than the Mainstream Christian application. By this I mean that Mainstream Christianity understands that salvation is a free gift offered by the grace and mercy of God. we find this message also in Ephesians 2:8-9. The Book of Mormon also teaches this same principle (2 Nephi 2:4, 2 Nephi 26:27). But, what mainstream Christianity doesn't full grasp is what comes next. How do we account for the dozen or more passages that say we will be judged according to the works and deeds done in the flesh (Romans 2:6, 2 Corinthians 5:10, 1 Corinthians 4:5, 1 Peter 1:17, Revelation 20:12, Psalms 62:12, Proverbs 24:12, Colossians 3:25, Proverbs 11:31, 1 Corinthians 3:8, etc.)? If Jesus' atonement covers our sins and allows us to enter heaven apart from any works that we have done, as a free gift to all, then is it a contradiction to also teach that our place in Heaven, or the judgement and reward offered therein, is contingent upon our works? And the answer is somewhat simple. If Heaven is one single place where all are equal and there are not actually different levels of inheritance or reward, then it in fact would be a contradiction. There would be no point in judging people's works if their inheritance and reward is all the same. However, if there are different level of inheritance in heaven, and different degrees of glory that we can receive, than it makes perfect sense that all are granted the free gift of entrance into Heaven, but then once there, our works and deeds are judged and our reward and inheritance into those different levels and degrees of glory are in perfect harmony with the word of God. LDS doctrine espouses the concept found in 1 Corinthians 15:40-41, which teaches that there are 3 distinct brackets or levels in Heaven, and that even within those brackets no two people will receive the same level of inheritance. Therefore, the consensus is that while all receive entrance into Heaven by the grace and gift of God, through the atonement of Christ, once we are their the judgement of our works and deeds does come into play and our reward in Heaven and the level of glory we are granted to inherit will be based on our works and deeds. So how it all fits into Romans 5, is that Romans 5 only discusses the process or doctrines surrounding how we get to heaven, and doesn't give a full picture of what comes next, for the full picture it is necessary to look at many passages about that doctrine simultaneously to see how they all fit together. The degrees of glory get even more nuanced and detailed than that, but I think you can get the point for now.

Soo let me see if I understand this correctly. . . God creates his amazing plan of Salvation because he loves his children and wants them to return to his presence. God then creates millions of LGBT people who are also his children. God then inspires his living apostles and prophets to excommunicate LGBT church members and deny baptism to their innocent children, thereby excluding them all from participating in his plan of salvation. Elder Bednar then declares that there ARE no LGBT people . . . so problems solved. . . we can now go back to feeling self righteous and spiritually superior again.
@robpaulson7992
@robpaulson7992 6 лет назад
Your argument assumes that the only legitimate reason for having sex is to multiply and replenish the earth and that same sex relationships are offensive or sinful in the eyes of god. I suggest that you carefully re-consider both those assumptions. Also, please don't try to tell me that excommunicating someone or denying them baptism is not excluding them from the blessings of the gospel, because I know better. The handbook policy is not loving, and it is not in harmony with Christ's teachings to "suffer the little children" to come unto him.
@germanslice

@@robpaulson7992 You've actually got things a bit twisted. Our true eternal identity is that of sons and daughters of God. The Homosexual condition is only just a temporary condition here in this mortal life, but in the eternal scheme of things that condition does not last for eternity, it only affects in this life so what good will it do for the church to allow same-sex marriage sealings for time and eternity when in the next life those same-sex feelings won't even be present no more. It would make the marriage sealing a pointless exercise....What good is it to join two people of the same gender together for time and eternity in this life only to have their feelings change on them in the next life... God won't allow any sexual expression of those gay feelings here in this life. But in this life God commands restrictions. So the bar is more higher up on those who have only those feelings than on those who are attracted to the opposite sex or only half attracted..

All Intelligence is eternal and always existed with God, To keep things simple we worship God the Father as God Jesus Christ being the advocate to the Father as well as the Savior and Redeemer of the World.. We did have spirit bodies in the Premortal World, then we come to this earth to obtain these physical bodies to go through these life experiences.. It is all part of our eternal journey.
@anthonym2499
@anthonym2499 3 года назад
Do you mean; why did we not have bodies like the Father (resurrected bodies of flesh and bone)? We did have bodies which were composed of a finer/purer element (D&C 131:7) for lack of a technical term for them. Consider when you put your hand into a glove, you are allowing yourself to experience a different kind of existence. The bodies which we have today are just accessories that allow us to experience good and evil - but from the beginning it was not so. Adam and Eve were created in the type of body that we will possess after we are resurrected - they entered into Eden with bodies which are typical of resurrected celestial bodies. But, what we do not know is if this was a result of them working out the process of the plan of salvation from a previous life; ie, this is a process that we will be able to go thru if we inherit the Celestial degree of glory - we will become Adams and Eves to our own spirit children - or, if this is simply the way that creation plays out when working from the beginning. While there is no clearly defined understanding on how spirit creation comes about, one of the more intriguing concepts to me is that the first few verses of Genesis is actually describing God becoming self aware. The waters upon which the Spirit of God moved would be the eternal abode of intelligences that have not become self aware (as well as the resting place of the sons of Perdition; ie, outer darkness). At some point in eternities past, a singular intelligence became enlightened to their state of existence and became the first light. Seeing that it was alone in its current condition, it would learn that it had to sacrifice itself in order to bring others up out from the depths. Thus a deep sleep came upon it, and when it had reawoked, there was another entity with which it could experience this whole new life with. Just imagine if the first chapters of Genesis was simply relaying to us the processes of eternity - hidden in plain sight :) Oh well, prolly didnt even answer the question and went off on some fantasy tangent :/

Those who die during birth or those who are miscarried are not given any chance to develop or grow or accept Christ on earth which (if I'm not mistaken) would not allow them to enter the celestial kingdom...right? Even if they get a chance after they die....Does this make sense? Im just curious as to your perspectives on it

I'd like to respectfully point out that there is a middle ground between what you define as "universalism" and "hellism". I'm not sure who holds to either of these two extremes, but most Christians I know view heaven as a pretty inclusive place. Like LDS, they also recognize the need for repentance. Unlike LDS, they believe in the existence of hell for those who knowingly and willingly turn from God here on Earth. Like you, they all believe they will meet up with family again in heaven--as well as friends and others they never knew. It's a big communion of saints in heaven where the earthly divisions we've created don't exist--united as one loving family of God.
@withkwaku
@withkwaku 6 лет назад
Growing up in a very protestant Christian area, the majority consensus was that only Christians go to heaven. Which would statistically mean that most people on earth would suffer in Hell for eternity. That's the difference between the traditional protestant gospel and the Lord's restored Gospel.
@KevlarX2
@KevlarX2 6 лет назад
Some big differences in our views. Protestants and Catholics believe in a heaven where we are all basically brothers and sisters and those that fall short of some mark go to hell. LDS teaches (as the Apostle Paul alluded to), that Christ taught that there are many mansions, degrees in heaven, that we can attain according to how faithful we were in this life. Also, from modern revelation we learn that our families can continue after this existence. Our Mom and Dad, Brothers and Sisters, Grandparents. Our Cousins, Aunt's, Uncles, our Spouses and children! We can continue those relationships if we are faithful and are sealed to them. That is why LDS have Temples to seal families together through the "holy priesthood" (the Authority to act in Christ's name.) (Mark 10:9). There are many scriptures from modern revelation that make this clearer. I am so grateful that the Lord made this possible and we do not have to surrender those family bonds we made here. Quite frankly, that is what makes me the happiest. Being in a family with my loved ones forever. The idea of losing those strong family bonds that we made here on earth? That doesn't sound appealing at all. That is one of the reasons the Plan of Salvation was created, and we came to earth in the first place.
@allieooop3923
@allieooop3923 6 лет назад
Kwaku If people where I live went around thinking "only Christians go to heaven", they would have zero friends. Not kidding. I'm in a very liberal region of the country. The attitude is "let God be the judge". So, even those who have never learned about Jesus can go to heaven. God knows their hearts. Growing up, were you surrounded by lots of Calvinists/Reformed faith types? They have a unique perspective on heaven that pretty much no other Christians agree with. I guess it sort of might sound like the "hellism" you describe. KevlarX2 Oh no, I didn't mean to suggest that you would lose the strong family bonds made here on earth! The belief is that, in God's presence, you are better able reflect his perfect love--you'd love more like God does. So the love is actually better--probably something more than can be imagined--and it would extend beyond family and friends to everyone in heaven. Christians I know also talk about a glorified body in heaven, just like LDS. I'm not familiar with the idea of people going to hell "that fall short of some mark". Everybody's circumstances throughout time and the world are so different, there is not some universal mark. The basic idea is that God will sort it out. Thanks to you both for the exchange! Is someone who is an atheist in this life considered a son of perdition, and unable to achieve a kingdom of glory in the afterlife?
@withkwaku
@withkwaku 6 лет назад
No! To be a son of perdition you must have a perfect knowledge of God and still reject him. Atheists are not sons of perdition. Whether you can atheists or anyone can move up kingdom's of glory in the next life is debated, and without clear revelation yet given.

Kwaku+ I think some clarification is needed as to what you mean by "next life". It is obvious that we can move up and down in the kingdoms after death while living in the spirit world (1 Peter 3:19). Christ wouldn't have been preaching His gospel in the world of spirits if it were not possible for them to them accept and in turn move up. Also it is pointed out that after the resurrection it is not possible for us to move up or down in our glory or kingdom. For instance no sealings (marriages) can be performed after our resurrection (Matthew 22:29-30), therefore if not previously married according to God's laws and authority, it would at that point not be possible to progress into the kingdom of exaltation. And those not Exalted to become as God is are to remain as angels or servant of God not able to progress to be qualitatively equal with God (Luke 20:34-36). This essentially would be the same as my son growing up to be an adult, but never actually moving out or getting married or having a house of his own, but remains in my house and helps take care of my things and is for all intents and purposes a servant to me. In some of my conversations with many of today's "mainstream Christians", I have observed that many just want to be eternal servants of God. Not that they don't want the blessings that come with being like God, but they can't accept or agree with the responsibilities that come with being like God.They can accept the comforts and responsibilities that come with remaining in His house under His protection forever and not have to be burdened with the responsibilities of taking care of their own house or dealing with the extra risks and potential issues that come with being like God and doing the things God does. This doesn't mean they are bad people, because obviously one alternative could have been that they rejected God all together and never even get that far, but it is still our responsibility to encourage and assist them in anyway we can to help them understand that it is God's desire for all of us to become like Him and not just forever live as His servant. Yes this means that they must take on the requisite responsibilities associated with that glory and blessing, and many can't bring themselves to do that. So, we shouldn't force them to or belittle them if they can't accept it, because the last thing God wants us to do is scare off His children by shoving responsibilities down their throat when they aren't ready. He has already lost 1/3 of all His children because they ran away from responsibility. God has accepted that there will be some that will never be ready and will remain angels and servants in His house. All we can do is show the truth and necessity for taking on those responsibilities if they are to gain their full potential God has in store for them and that those blessings are attainable as we all take courage and work to get there one step at a time.

By next Life Kwaku means the veil or the Spirit World. if someone is an atheist in this life, the on the other side of the veil he will find out the truth and be taught the gospel if he does not accept it on this side of the veil... The teaching of the gospel is not just done only on this side of the veil.

@@scottb4509 You are forgetting all about the Millennium the time before the Resurrection where everything is final, its not set in concrete until the millennium is first over and all the sealings have been done. That is why Faithful LGBT members will receive the blessings if they stay faithful to their covenants if they are unable to marry here in this life. Then God will make provision for them to give them the rest of the blessings before the Resurrection.
@scottb4509
@scottb4509 4 года назад
@@germanslice I think you are confusing mortal death as the separation between this life and the next. the scriptures declare that resurrection is the separating point between this life and the next not mortal death. I am accounting for the Millennium because anyone that has not been resurrected will still get there chance for learning, and repentance during that time before the final resurrection. The Spirit world and the Millennium are proof that God is as loving and long-suffering as He can be with us. We are given ample opportunity to learn and change and follow the truths He wants us to follow so that we can become as He is. Resurrection is an individual thing and can happen at any time from death to the end of the millennium Which is the second resurrection. Therefore, the change is possible at anytime between now and the end of the second resurrection for all individuals, regardless of what level they were at spiritually at the time of mortal death, and that if they change as much as they can or as much as they are going to they can be resurrected at any time along that timeline and will at that time be stuck at what ever level they were when they were resurrected. It should also be noted that the "Veil", is a separation between us and God, not a separation between mortality and the spirit realm. The veil is not lifted just because our mortality ends. We still cannot see God if at death we were not ready or willing to live according to His teachings. If we still need to change and repent even in that spirit world then we are not yet ready to pass through the veil into God's presence. It is a pattern where in the pre-existence there were 3 groups; the believers, the fence sitters, and the disbelievers. only one of those groups was excluded from getting a mortal life, the disbelievers (Jude 1:6, Rev. 12:4). The believers and the Fence sitters were allowed to gain a mortal life. and from these 2 groups that got a mortal life, their again will be 2 groups in the spirit world, the believers in paradise and the rest in prison (both fence sitters and disbelievers from mortality). If they got to mortality and either progressed, or even slid back in their belief in God their reward is to feel a small portion of the effects of their choices. That is why so many conflate spirit Prison with outer darkness (Hell). they are the same feelings, experiences, and pains, but prison is not an eternal sentence, where as outer darkness is. It is possible to endure spirit prison and still receive some of the glory of God in the resurrection. Then at the 2nd coming, Those in paradise are resurrected as the body of Christ, and those righteous that are still living, live out the remainder of their days in peace until their would-be death and immediate changing from mortal to immortal in the twinkling of an eye. The fence sitters and disbelievers are then subject to 1000 years of chances and opportunities to learn and repent. at the end of the 1000 years the fence sitters become a part of the end of the first resurrection to inherit the lower degrees of glory, and the disbelievers from the mortal "fence sitters" group are left to endure the destruction of the world before they take part in the second resurrection which is the resurrection unto eternal damnation and permanent veil between them and all blessings God has or could bestow upon them. Each time the lowest group is removed or held out from progressing to the next stage.

@scottb4509
@scottb4509 3 года назад
One interesting tid bit to think about is the power and authority or glory that resides over each of the degrees of Glory. the Glory of the Father presides over he Celestial kingdom, the glory of the Son presides over the Terrestrial kingdom, and the glory of the Holy Ghost presides over the Telestial kingdom. all these kingdoms are a part of Heaven. However, there are dividing or separating factors for qualifying for each of them. Those who reject the requisite commandments of the Celestial kingdom are in turn rejecting the presence of the Father, and therefore, are not going to inherit the Celestial kingdom where the Father presides. those who reject the divinity and commandments of Christ, are in turn rejecting the presence of Jesus Christ, and therefore, are not going to inherit the Terrestrial kingdom where Christ presides. and those who reject the light of Christ, the conscience, or guiding moral spirit innate within our soul, are in turn rejecting the presence of the Holy Ghost, and therefore will not inherit the Telestial kingdom where the Holy Spirit presides. Matthew 12:30-32 spells out what happens to those who reject the authority and presence of the Holy Spirit. this is known as blaspheming the Holy Ghost and is the only sin that keeps man out of Heaven. the kingdom or glory presided over by the Holy Ghost is the lowest level in Heaven so it makes perfect sense that those who reject that Spirit are then not included in those that inherit a degree of glory within Heaven. Mark 3:30 says that they inherit eternal damnation. Thus to be saved is a progressive concept. the question is in which level or degree of glory would you like to be saved, and to what extent are you willing to go to attain that level of salvation?

The confusion comes in thinking that when Ecclesiastes 12:7 says that the spirit shall return unto the God who gave it, that it is somehow speaking of our day, or of this normal mortal time. In reality this passage is speaking of the 2nd coming when all things are laid waste, when there is mourning in the streets and all things are broken and jobs cease to be performed. At his coming the two sides of that spirit world are swallowed up in His presence, and all are in front of his eye. this Ecclesiastes passage is more comparable to the "changed in the twinkling of an eye" doctrine than it does any kind of normal death type situation as we see them. In the spirit world, as mentioned in the Bible, there are two parts; the spirit Paradise (Luke 23:43), and the spirit Prison (1 Peter 3:19). Alma 40 speaks of this situation of going to this spirit world after death. while many cite verse 11 to say that even the LDs scriptures teach that the spirit immediately returns to God after death, they ignore the context. verse 15 teaches that the reason for this initial return to god is to be preliminarily judged. Because there are two sides to the spirit world we must first receive a judgement and sentencing to one of those two sides from Christ. the initial return to the God who gave it is to be temporarily sentenced to one of those two places within the spirit world. at this point the final judgement and resurrection has not taken place yet. therefore it is not the same judgement that follows the resurrection from death. it is in a sense a review or evaluation of what we understand and remember from mortality about the gospel of Christ, and who well we followed it in mortality, and what we could still work on before the final resurrection and judgement. Don't get this confused with the "this is the time to prepare to meet God, for after death no works can be performed", it is appointed unto man only once to die then cometh the judgement" type doctrines. there is a difference between the repentance and changes of the heart, which can take place at any time prior to the resurrection, and the works and deeds of mortality, which can only be done by mortals in the flesh. we know this from 1 Peter 3:19 and 4:6, where we learn that the Lord went to those spirits in that spirit prison and preached to them so that though they may be judged according to the deeds of mortality, they may repent and live according to God spiritually. Isaiah 24:22 says that all those in that spirit place will be visited after many days. Ezekiel 32:20-32 spells this process out as well, indicating that all who have ever lived go into a place of spirits and those who do evil are lumped with those that disbelieve.

The Mormon salvation is different than the Christian salvation, for one, Mormons believe Jesus is the LITERAL son of God, that God came down and procreated with Mary and Jesus was born, they believe that Jesus was never eternal and that God created him in the heavens, with Mother God, they believe you must become perfect by all you can do, all you have to do is look at the Temple recommend, you jump through hoops before you can go to heaven. Christians believe you must believe in Christ and love him and you are saved by his grace. Through his love, you do what makes him happy not by a set of rules from a man!! Go to the Mormon history, you will know of their true salvation, false doctrine.

@Jesus Defender Actually you can prove most things we teach with the Bible. And like I said earlier, new things have, and will be revealed. There are SO MANY things that still have to be revealed, prophecies fulfilled, covenants kept. The problem is that when the second coming actually comes, you won't believe it, because you are the same as the pharisees. They couldn't believe the fulfillment of prophecy, they focused so much on the "word of God" just like you that they completely missed, and even kill the Savior in His first visit as the Messiah. You assume that scripture was, and can be no more, which leads to a stagnant faith. Like I said, when you have an ounce of the foundation based on how Christ actually established His church, then you can talk about continuing revelation.

@Jesus Defender We believe the atonement took place in two locations, A) On the Cross, B) In the Garden of Gethsemane.....You failing to realize that Jesus was born to earth as a mortal man with an immortal spirit For when he came to earth he took upon himself a body of flesh and bones with blood. His mortal body like the rest of us who came to earth was indeed created when he came down to earth. And then when he was resurrected his body was turned into an immortal body of flesh and bone.
@germanslice
@germanslice 4 года назад
We do have an immortal spirit. For the spirit was with God and shall return back again unto God after it leaves the body. Eccl 12:7 God is the Father of the spirits of all flesh. Numbers 16:22 Furthermore we had father of the flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence; shall we not rather be in subjection unto the FATHER OF SPIRITS and live? (Hebrews 12:9) Ye are the sons of the living God (Hosea 1:10. God has got more than one Son. Job 1:6 ""Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord and Satan came also among them. We are all sons and daughters of the same Father. And who is the Father? Answer is found in John 20:17 'Touch me not for I have not yet ascended up to my father, but go and say to my brethren, I ascend up to YOUR FATHER and to MY FATHER, and to your GOD and to MY GOD, Jesus worships God the Eternal Father, he doesn't worship himself.
@germanslice
@germanslice 4 года назад
Its not anti Bible at all to say the atonement was carried out in both the garden of gethsemane where the Lord poured out every drop of blood for our sins while he suffered in the garden as he took upon himself all the sins of the world before he went up to the cross. He already had bleed in the garden from every pore and suffered agony of what we can't imagine or comprehend as mortals, and after that he bled in the garden, he was mocked, whipped and scourged and them set up on the cross. So If you guys say that all that suffering he went through in the garden wasn't part of the suffering of the atonement then you don't comprehend understand what the atonement was about and are missing half of it if you ignore what went on in the garden.....What suffering went on up on the cross was part of the atonement, the rest took place in the garden. That's why those who don't repent of their sins will suffer that same agony as Jesus had suffered for them. Luke 22:39-46 There's nothing Anti bible about that because that's exactly what the bible teaches.
@germanslice
@germanslice 4 года назад
@Jesus Defender That's only half of the atonement. so stop arguing with me because you will get nowhere arguing against me when I speak the full truth. Jesus said those that are in spirit prison of hell like the rich man and also those who few will go to outer darkness like Judas are suffering the weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth in incomprehensible degrees they suffer the same incomprehensible agony that Jesus suffered for them in the garden because they did not accept his invitation to repent, . So this is why its important to realize the suffering in the garden is also part of the same atonement. And this is why the garden is written in the scriptures to teach us of what the pain and punishment and justice of a God is going to be like if we disobey him and do not repent of our sins, then we will suffer the same endless agony and punishment that Jesus had suffered in the garden for our sins. So Jesus in the garden descended below all things. That's where his greatest and deepest pain took place. and he was in that pain and agony for several hours before he even went to the cross. And that's how long it took for him to take upon him all the sins of the world and he needed an angle to strengthen him to get him through all the pain and agony of it. So those of you who focus so much on just only the cross part of the atonement have no got idea of the more deeper greater pain and agony the Lord went through on behalf of your sins when he took them all upon himself in the garden and suffered the justice of the Father for all your sins. And so when you say the suffering and pain in the garden had nothing to do with the justice of God for our sins that Jesus paid for is an slap in the face to God the Father. That creed that teaches also that God is just one single person with no Family and no Posterity, because you believe God the Father and the Holy Ghost are physically living inside of just Jesus due to misinterpretating what it means for the Godhead to be one in unity with each other that teaching that God is three persons living inside of one tangible person is not the full truth and He has rejected that teaching because its not the truth about his nature. The Father has an immortal spirit body housed inside of a tangible resurrected body the same as the son has otherwise there would not need to be a cloud to hide him away from view in the transfiguration of the mount with the apostles..How else can a voice from heaven say 'this is my beloved son in whom i am well pleased' if hes not a tangible being with a mouth, a mind, and a will and an intellect?
@germanslice
@germanslice 4 года назад
@Jesus Defender That is false, you believe in false teachings. Hell lasts a thousand years for those who who are held in the spirit prison, for even hell has to deliver up all her dead for the judgement and those who are found worthy to sin unto perdition, they are the ones who are cast back down into the lake of fire and end up in the hell that is pernament, known as Outer Darkness.

@monocuco818
@monocuco818 4 года назад
You take it out of context... just a few verses later the Lord says, "I make peace, and create evil." Do you think He actually makes evil things? No, but the scriptures says He does right? No, He doesn't say that nor does He say there isn't another God. He is telling the people who continue to create idols and false Gods, that there "is no God beside me." There is an interesting scripture in Exodus. Exodus 24:9-11 "Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink." So they see the God of Israel and ALSO they see God. 2 Gods. You see, normally when the Bible talks about God it is referring to Jehovah who is also Christ in the New Testament. On rare occasions we hear God the Father actually speak, and even rarer, He is seen physically. Just as God talks to Christ in Genesis when He says "let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness:" and "Behold, the man (Adam) is become as one of US, to know good and evil:" God and Christ have the same plan and are so perfectly united in purpose that they are one, but not physically. Just as Christ invites us to be one with Him as He is one with the father. That does not mean that we are going to join their "essence" and be joined together, all of us. It just means that we will understand as they understand and desire the same things they desire and be completely unified.
@monocuco818

@Jesus Defender Yeah, I don't have time too look up all of those references, but I know what you are getting at. Those scriptures do talk about God, Jehovah, and Jesus christ. Jesus is the Savior in the New Testament and Jehovah of the Old Testament. He is the God of Israel and of this world. Under the direction of God the Father He created all things. These scriptures are pretty confusing to someone who doesn't get them, or someone who hasn't studied them. In your opinion what does he mean when he says they were in the presence of God, then "also they saw God?"
@germanslice
@germanslice 4 года назад
@Jesus Defender You're incorrect in your conclusions about God the Father. For the Father's face is always seen by the angels in heaven. The Father and the Son are two separate resurrected beings, time and time again Jesus said the Father had sent him down from heaven as his Father God lives up in heaven and delegates his authority down to Christ down on earth as the representative of the Father and the Holy Ghost a spirit personage third member of the Godhead bears witness of the other two because they work all together as a Council... Whose doctrine was it that Jesus was teaching, was it his own doctrine or was it the doctrine of his Father, and how can the Father give his own doctrine to Jesus unless Jesus saw his own Father's hand in it and watched his own Father live it or how else can Jesus follow in the footsteps of his Father.. The Godhead had visited Daniel the prophet in person. The Godhead was seen also by the apostle Stephen. And the Godhead came to Joseph Smith personally in the grove.
@germanslice
@germanslice 4 года назад
@Jesus Defender Let us go down and confound all their language. Gen 11:7 Behold, the man has become like one of US to know good and evil. (Gen 3:22). If God is all righteous and holy, then why does he have knowledge of good and evil? God works with others, he does not work alone. Jesus did not have all of his Father's power and wisdom all in its fulness when he came down to earth to take on a body of flesh and bones to walk the earth with. But He developed it over time while on the earth. Jesus increased in wisdom and statutre and favor with men. Luke 2:52 I can do nothing of myself, by what I see my Father do, that I do also. But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. (John 7:29) Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended up to my Father, but go to my brethren and say unto them, I ascend up unto my father, and to your father and to my God and to your God. John 20:17) Jesus here admits that his God and our God is God the Eternal Father. Or Heavenly Father, Elohim. God The Father is seen sitting up on the throne in heaven, the Lamb of God is seen taking the book out of the Father's hand. to open up the seals. (revelation chapter 5) Jesus is not alone up in heaven but dwells also with the Father. The Saints of God worship God the Father AND The lamb of God. And cried with a loud voice, saying, SALVATION to our God who sitteth upon the throne, AND unto the Lamb. (Rev 7:10) Unto him who sits upon the throne (God The Father) and unto the lamb forever and ever. (Rev 5:13) To Him that overcometh,will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I ALSO OVERCAME, and am set down with my Father in HIS THRONE. Jesus had to work out his salvation and walk with God in order to overcome. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philip 2:12) John 17:8 I have given unto THEM the word which THOU GAVEST ME. Learned he obedience by the things he suffered (hebrews 5:8). John 4:34 Do the will of HIm THAT SENT ME, and to finish his WORK. John 9:4 I must work the WORKS OF HIM WHO SENT ME. Matthew 7:24 'Heareth these sayings and DOETH THEM. For those who say we don't need works with our faith, works are mentioned quite a lot by the Son of God Himself. Going about always doing his Father's work. Conclusion: The Latter-day Saints have got a very strong position with the Bible about God the Son condescending himself as a mortal man on earth and being obedient to the Will of God the Father up in heaven to develop those inherited powers of his Father God...That is how God earns his place up in heaven by following his Fathers'will by walking along that straight and narrow path. Next Jesus now having overcome now tells us to overcome so we can obtain our place with him in heaven along with his Father God. Straight and narrow is the way and few be there that find it.

@Jesus Defender God the Father had the same knowledge of Good and Evil that Adam was already given. For Gods eyes were already opened to the truth eons before Adam was even brought to this world to have his eyes opened to it. The Kingdom of God is also Omnipresent, and Omniscient, but how are you going to understand the kingdom without understanding the true nature of God? The interpreter of the things of God is the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost which is received in the church by the laying on of hands but instead you set aside the counsels of God to rely on your own wisdom and understanding and fall into all kinds of foolish errors with the scriptures like the Zorammites of Old did who had stopped observing the commandments of God and who and imagined up for themselves instead a God of no miracles.

No. Because God is all knowing. So if this is the way things are then God's plan is perfect, and the only way it can be. So if you change paths you are wrong and you would fail as the ruler and all who follow you. That's been tried before, Lucifer was cast out with a third of the hosts of heaven who followed him, trying to do things differently.

Let me break it down for you Andres. I was referring to your question above. You basically asked: Imagine for a moment, that you are the ruler of the universe. (God). Would you change anything? I answered and said: No. The reason, is, is that God is a perfect and all knowing God. (If you were a God you would be too) Therefore, he knows the way the plan of salvation has to be to work. Therefore us changing it would be a flawed plan. In other words we can't do things differently if things only work best one way. There isn't going to be multiple best ways for the plan of salvation to work. I then reminded you that Lucifer tried to put forth another plan, and it was flawed and not accepted. He then rebelled and was cast out of heaven along with a third of the hosts who followed him. What is it you don't get? The topic of this video is the plan of salvation. If you were meaning something else, you did not specify what. If you were meaning how the universe operates or what it consists of? Again my answer is no, because of the same reasons. It operates according to a divine perfect way from an all knowing God, the only way that it can operate. So we as a ruler (God) would have to do things the same way for it to work. Just my answer to your hypothetical question. Sorry if it's complicated sounding.

Book of Mason But it's even worse than that. Being all-knowing means that he can't even change his mind. He already knows everything therefore new information or a change in the situation is already known about. An omniscient being is a powerless being.

10:48 in the video is a lie! According to the Book of Mormon grace is applied “After all you can do” 2 Nephi 25:23.... You have to do your best to be righteous than after all that grace is applied... stop sharing a false message!

Christ paid for all sin through his atonement, but that doesn't mean all sin was forgiven on the cross. 1 John 1:9 NASB: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John was shared with believers, or those who had already been saved. Why would they be commanded to repent again if they had already been saved? Ongoing repentance is required by Jesus. The act of repentance itself has no power, but Jesus requires it.

Leo Winegar The apostle Paul wrote, "To the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding" (Ephesians 1:6-8). This forgiveness is referring to salvation, in which God has taken our sins and removed them from us "as far as the east is from the west" (Psalm 103:12). This is the judicial forgiveness that God gives us upon receiving Jesus Christ as Savior. All our past, present, and future sins are forgiven on a judicial basis, meaning that we will not suffer eternal judgment for our sins. We still often suffer consequences of sin while we are here on earth, however, which brings us to the question at hand. The difference between Ephesians 1:6-8 and 1 John 1:9 is that John is dealing with what we call "relational," or "familial," forgiveness"like that of a father and a son. For example, if a son does something wrong to his father"falling short of his expectations or rules"the son has hindered his fellowship with his father. He remains the son of his father, but the relationship suffers. Their fellowship will be hindered until the son admits to his father that he has done wrong. It works the same way with God; our fellowship with Him is hindered until we confess our sin. When we confess our sin to God, the fellowship is restored. This is relational forgiveness. "Positional" forgiveness, or judicial forgiveness, is that which is obtained by every believer in Christ. In our position as members of the body of Christ, we have been forgiven of every sin we have ever committed or ever will commit. The price paid by Christ on the cross has satisfied God's wrath against sin, and no further sacrifice or payment is necessary. When Jesus said, "It is finished," He meant it. Our positional forgiveness was obtained then and there. Confession of sin will help to keep us from the discipline of the Lord. If we fail to confess sin, the discipline of the Lord is sure to come until we do confess it. As stated previously, our sins are forgiven at salvation (positional forgiveness), but our daily fellowship with God needs to stay in good standing (relational forgiveness). Proper fellowship with God cannot happen with unconfessed sin in our lives. Therefore, we need to confess our sins to God as soon as we are aware that we have sinned, in order to maintain close fellowship with God.

No where in the Bible does it teach that all of our sins were forgiven on the cross. Payment of sin isn't the same thing as forgiveness. We must be yoked to Christ (Matthew 11:28), or else he cannot be our Advocate (1 John 2:1) with the Father, when we are judged by our works (Rev 20). In other words, obedience is required by Christ, our Mediator: Heb 5:8-9 - Obedience required for salvation Phil 2:12 - Work out your own salvation Heb 11:1 - Faith is substance, evidence Luke 10:27 - Love God with all your strength John 17:3 - Know God to gain eternal life 1 John 2:3-6 - How do we know him? Mark 16:16 - Must be baptized to be saved Rom 2:6-13 - Doers of law are justified Rom 6:22 - Become servants, then gift James 2:14-17 - Can faith alone save? John 14:15 - Love me? Keep commandments John 15:10 - Conditional promise Jude 1:21 - Keep yourself in the love of God Luke 18:18,22,27 - Follow Him 2 Peter 1:1-11 Add to your faith 2 Tim 4:7 - Paul fought the good fight Mark 13:13 - Endure and be saved Matt 5:48 - Be perfect like Heavenly Father Matt 22: 36-40 - Love God and neighbor Matt 11:28-30 - Take yoke, burden is light Matt 16:24 - Take up cross and follow Matt 5:14-16 - Let your light so shine John 8:12 - Follow Him John 14:6 - The way Matt 19:16-22 - Follow Him for eternal life Matt 25:1-12 - 5 virgins didn’t prepare/work 1 Peter 4:1-2 - Be done with sin 1 Peter 1:15-16 - Be ye holy; for I am holy

John Wallson We do our best through the gift of repentence which represents Gods gift. Alma 24:11-12 And now behold, my brethren, since it has been all that we could do (as we were the most lost of all mankind) to repent of all our sins and the many murders which we have committed, and to get God to take them away from our hearts, for it was all we could do to repent sufficiently before God that he would take away our stain- 12 Now, my best beloved brethren, since God hath taken away our stains, and our swords have become bright, then let us stain our swords no more with the blood of our brethren.

Leo Winegar Colossians 2:13-14 reads as follows, When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. The Greek word translated all in this passage is pas. It means each, every, any, all, the whole, all things, everything. This would seem to support the claim that all sins past present and future were forgiven at the cross. It also supports Paul’s statement that at the moment of belief the Holy Spirit was sealed within us as a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance . And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory (Ephes. 1:13-14). Taken literally, this means the Holy spirit is the down payment that guarantees the redemption of the acquired possession (us). This guarantee went into effect when we first believed. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (2 Cor. 1:21-22). This tells us that God has established us as His and has placed His seal upon us as well. A seal is meant to authenticate ownership, placing it beyond doubt. It’s similar to the brand a rancher places on his cattle. 1 Cor. 6:19 says we are no longer ours, we were bought with a price. The price was the life of His Son Jesus. The Holy Spirit is our guarantee that God, who acquired us, will also redeem us. Hebrews 10:12-14 states that Jesus offered Himself as a once for all time sacrifice for sin that has made us perfect forever. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy. Once for all time means it applies from the beginning of the Age of Man to the end and continuously throughout. That includes the entire life of every believer. In offering Himself as our sacrifice for sin He has made perfect forever we who are being made Holy. This is an expansion of the writer’s claim in Hebrews 7:25 to the effect that because Jesus lives forever He is able to save us forever. (These verses prove that all interpretations of Hebrews 6:4-6 and Hebrews 10:26-27 that are used to deny eternal security are incorrect on their face. The same author, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, could not contradict himself so radically). Notice the sacrifice made us perfect forever, even though we’re still in the process of being made Holy. That’s a job that won’t be finished until the rapture/resurrection. Being made perfect forever is what Paul meant when he said, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Cor. 5:17). The verbs here are in the past perfect tense. That means from God’s perspective this is all over and done. Paul said that by accepting the Lord’s death as payment for all our sins we’ve become as righteous as God is (2 Cor. 5:21). These statements are all consistent. Individually and collectively they clearly show that all the sins of our life are forgiven from the moment we first believe. And there’s not a single verse in the New Testament that contradicts, modifies, or retracts these promises. After all, how could God guarantee our salvation from the moment of belief unless all the sins of our life were paid for and forgiven at the cross?

NO! Don't believe the Bible alone. Believe God! God is the fount of ALL truth, light, and knowledge. The Bible is scripture, holy, but is NOT God. God will speak when He wants. He has not completed His task of saving as many of His children as He can, so He will continue to work through His prophets and apostles and reveal more and more until His work is done. for "surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." He has yet to accomplish and keep the covenants He made with the prophets Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc.. and with the house of Israel. The gospel must spread to every land... and there are many more promises and prophesies that must be kept. God will not sit silent, He is actively leading His church and preparing the world for His coming.

I know what you meant, make the Word of God the main authority in your life. Very true! If people would just read it, they would truly know what God is saying and not sugar coating it.
