NOTE: It is possible to mop up in chapter select in some circumstances. However, Martina (the vendor) does not work in chapter select making abilities and purchased scrolls not possible to mop up.
Confirming you can't get the Glitchbirds through chapter select (unless you only missed one, in which case the tenth will unlock the achievement through chapter select). I missed two playing blind, and even if I finish the entire chapter through chapter select, both Glitchbirds I missed give me dialogue as if it's the ninth one I found. Glitchbirds don't save as being collected if you collect them through chapter select. This needs a patch to fix. No way in hell am I replaying this slow game all over again.

to make sure I had enough light bulbs to buy everything, I used the spot with the big mouse to farm them. you just hit all the bushes and trees on the page, run in front of the mouse, respawn and repeat until you think you have enough
PSA: i dont know about Glitchbirds because i only missed one so the trophy popped as soon as i grabbed it but you can definitely use chapter select to get any remaining art. The only issue is that im pretty sure you have to actually complete the chapter in order for it to save but i just replayed, chapter 4, got the one art i was missing there and finished the chapter and its still saved as collected both in the trophy tracking and in the game so it definitely works. And im inclined to think the Glitchbirds also save through chapter select because the game knew it was the 10th bird i collected and gave me the dialogue for collecting all 10. But again, i didnt have to try it for the birds. Im gonna see if i can get the one art im missing from chapter 3 and quit right after i get it rather than having to complete the whole fucking chapter but that method for sure works UPDATE: You DO NOT have to replay the entire chapter for art to save. And it absolutely WILL save for chapter select. I missed the art right at the beginning of chapter 3. I just loaded it up, grabbed it and quit and it saved in the tracker and in game so yeah. You dont gave to replay the whole game if you miss multiple art pieces
Ur right. I just finished collecting the final couple of art scrolls through chapter select and got the trophy. Also, NO, U DONT have to finish the entire chapter for them to count. U can collect what ur missing and then quit out of the game. Im just missing the glitchbird trophy and im gonna work on it during my adventure mode playthrough. It's definitely an easy platinum if ur going for it. Thanks for the guide maka...
This is 100 percent correct. And for art as well. I came in and wrote my own reply before seeing this one. Chapter select will allow u to grab things WITHOUT overwriting your save on your later chapter.
Thanks dude. My literal question. I'm playing blind and I noticed I was missing scrolls. I had a whole existential crisis. I was NOT trying to play the whole game over. So I will finish with the guide. Go back and get what I missed. Like this game. But hate the hassle. Thanks
So you can’t beat the game and use the chapter select to pick up collectibles we missed, or we can because I started the game before your guide was out.

They need to fix the Glitchbirds not being saved like TOMORROW. I'm not playing 5 hours through the game again and half of that is watching text scroll I've already seen. I've literally got 8 which if you missed 1 it works picking up the last one, so annoying. They either fix it or it's staying undone on my profile forever.
I can't get the glitch bird trophy. The game crashes a lot. After the latest crash when I picked up my 9th glitch bird the game told me I found my SECOND one! This game is too buggy. Wtf?
Collecting art scrolls through chapter replay work fine, but glitchbirds work then sometimes don’t work when collecting them. I just went through most of chapter 4 to get that glitchbird, and it once collected it never counted it as well as the one in chapter 2. So annoying
and my game crashed on chapter 6 when skipping the Thrash minigame, oof i hope they update this game to make recollecting things you missed easier after beating the game.
I missed two glitchbirds in my first playthrough. Had to replay the entire game and collect all 10 glitchbirds again to get the platinum. Super frustrating
@@francescovergano nope, it works for art scrolls but not for Glitchbirds, unless you missed only one glitchbird there's a chance it will work I've heard
I ended up with over 90 light bulbs remaining after getting all the art scrolls and ability upgrades. I did farm about 50 in the big rat and block of cheese room though. Just got to complete chapter 10 now for the last unmissable Trophies and the Plat.
As far as trophies go this game is an abomination for bugs. Literally went most of the way through a long level. Went outside the book to go back a few pages and the book got stuck and because it was chapter select i couldnt save at a checkpoint. Ridiculous
Glitchbird 7 doesn't need backtracking. there are bomber enemies and their grenades can break the box as well. Just avoid to kill the left bomber before he has thrown the bomb near the glitchbird's box.
i forgot to press play on the guide and missed the scroll in the swamp level silhouette cave, i couldn't find a way back to that section. back to the beginning I go 🙃🙃🙃🙃
I guess its already the case but I am literally only missing buying all the upgrades from the shop. Seems like there is no way to buy them other than replaying the whole game which is nuts. I managed to get the 2 art scrolls and 2 glitchbirds I was missing from chapter replay though it was a massive pain but seems like there's nothing you can do about missed shop items. They really need to fix that its pretty unnaceptable.
Good news! I finished with 9/10 birds and was able to use chapter select to get it and the platinum. Not sure if chapter select works if you’re missing multiples across different chapters but it did work for missing one bird
Press it when the fish is perfectly center screen. I found that your brain wants to natural press the button early so that your hand meets the fish as they both move, but that doesn’t work in this game.
@@Maka91Productions thanks! I got it shortly after I posted. I find that when I reach my breaking point and anonymously bitch on the internet about any trophy I end up popping it within minutes. Consistent as gravity.
Unfortunately unless they fix it with a patch you will have to start over. What I do is set a cloud save at the beginning of every chapter. That way just in case I miss something, then I only have to redo that chapter.
in case anyone is wondering if you can still collect them in chapter select, yes you can. i tried it and it worked, martina does appear and you can buy the one you missed. same thing with glitchbirds, if you got every collectible from a level you can just exit and move on to the next one, it won't reset
@@abuduman yes, i just got the platinum last night. i was missing 3 so i tried chapter select and i checked the trophy list and when i got the one i missed it passed from 7/10 to 8/10
Not updating at all for me when I go back through chapter select. Always saying it’s my 5th bird. Game didn’t save my early progress with collecting them. Only counted the final four

si aparece amigo, yo conseguí unos 35 artes y hubo algunos que no le compré a martina pero por las dudas probé repitiendo el capitulo y si se suma para el platino

@@angeloxperiax8and extra. Although this game looks cute and all, as a PS+ premium subscriber myself, I'm extremely disappointed that Sony has removed pretty much all of the high end quality games, and didn't add anything big. Makes having the extra or premium subscription a huge disappointment.
U don't have to start over if you miss something. At least not on PS5. When you choose chapter select it let's u go back into a chapter to pick up anything missed WITHOUT overwriting your current save. I've done it twice. Ty for this great walkthrough.
Yeah. I just assumed anyone trying to 100 this game wouldn't purposely move on without getting something that can't be missed. The door aren't hidden. And the lights can be grinder anywhere there are tree's. My point is if u MISSED something. Chapter select is an option. If u purposely walked passed something. Better luck next time
