This is a cool gig you got going PQ. The point you made about "roll with da soul, not your brain", was my total approach when I played in Trainreck as Washboard Jackson. 👈🏽 I spent 15 years playing that way and it served me very well. Every gig we played increased our fan base. My partner Rev. K.M. Williams also used the same approach of rolling with the soul. And it helped to make him world famous as well. In addition to being beautiful, you are equally good and very coordinated to play the drums. I'm at the beginning and I watch your every move and believe me slowly I start doing something thanks to you. Obviously I start from scratch and all this I need to coordinate the snare and kick strokes on the pads. Exactly I have a Native Instruments MK3 Drum Machine but the basic school is always the real drums. Congratulations again !!!!
Oh yeah, well tuned kit. I wish alot of our old school drummers were thinking to do so in some of our old school music. Although there were plenty that did, namely Barry White.
