It cracks me up that all throughout you see Lovett in action. You can feel it when you listen to the pods, but you don't get to see it(unless you're there, of course)-him just listening intently, thoughtfully forming his analysis of the discussion and context surrounding it and he's stewing...just simmering away until it hits a boil and then BAM! LOVETT EXPLODES!!! Jon Lovett: The Pressure Cooker of Common Sense. LOL On a side note-I would LOVE to see them have Stephen as a guest on one of the Pods!! Just sitting down and discussing these things without Stephen having the pressure of being the host for a TV network and having to stay within a framework of time, etc.

Jon Lovett was on fire compared to Jon (other) and Tommy. Jon and Tommy were trying to stay middle and not rock the boat while Jon Lovett knew he was in most of America's homes and went for it. That is how you get people to tune into your podcast whether they agree or disagree with him.

These guys run Crooked Media (Crooked.com). Pod Save America for all three of them discussing politics with a bit of humor, Lovett or Leave It (Jon Lovett's show) for a more comedy-centric pod, Pod Save the World (Tommy's show) for foreign policy stuff, and a handful of other decent pods. Definitely worth checking out.

They should have had them on for 2 segments. It's hard to interview 3 smart people about so many topics in such a short period of time. I know it's live and it was great...you wouldn't know there wasn't much time to prepare for the show -- Stephen is so good. The guests were good. Stephen is the love of my TV watching life.

+Manatee Man She's not effectively booing Jon. The "Hsssssssss" has become a running joke, as Jon absolutely and notoriously hates it and people do it all the damn time on their live podcasts. Whenever someone or something shitty is brought up into the convo the audience always hisses and Jon gets super pissed about it(because it's annoying as hell)...until recently which is because he knows this isn't a fight he's going to win. LOL

I don't think "imprison" will ever happen for a US President. First off, if he were removed from office, Pence would succeed him, and use his authority as President to pardon him. Second, I think our government as an institution likes it that way. They'd rather retain the dignity of the office, to the extent possible. When someone wants a president out, they want him out.. and then move on.

Interesting contrasts. The guy on the left is sitting up as straight as the middle guy is slouching. Guy on the right kind of a combination. All of them have more on the ball politically than Trump will ever have.
