Hey so I'm not really sure what you mean when you say you can't watch the first minute of this video at 1080p with 10 gigs? Maybe hyperbole? But if hotspot is that important to you google fi's unlimited plus plan has unlimited hot spot. It throttles it after 50 gigs, but that's cause they throttle your mobile data after 50 gigs (mint throttles at 40). But there's no monthly limit. Only 55 a month so 5 bucks more a month . might be worth looking at.

@@chris-piche I blinked and didn't fully read it in time. I wasn't sure if it added to the steps or if it was a separate effect or something. Having them extend the steps by 200 feels like its a bit too easy, since it isn't too hard to get through FRLG without buying any items. What if the tension of battle made you clench your cheeks hard enough to push it back in just a little, meaning you need to balance enough battles to stop from shitting yourself, but not too many because you risk browning out. Maybe the step counter could also count in-battle turns as 1 step, and if you run out of steps mid battle you brown out. Really emphasising the need to finish battles fast to extend your timer, which means making riskier plays.

I like this! There’s a lot of suggestions on how to raise the difficulty of this - my initial thought was even to limit the stock of peptos per mart. But this is cool - I’d almost want it to count more steps per turn based on trainer class, making the elite four potentially super stressful as opposed to how it played out in the video. @@chris-piche Add to that, there are porta pottys in each E4 room, but if even a single Pokemon was KO'd during the E4 battle the potty stays locked. And replace the hall of fame with a restroom. The entire game has just been to use the Champion's toilet. After you beat Blue, you run past him, pushing Oak aside and finally, after a journey of hardships, trials and not shitting yourself, you can relax and let it all out.

Random encounters aren't turned off - repel makes it so anything lower level than the Pokemon in the front of your party cannot be encountered. Pokemon can also be encountered as normal using sweet scent or a fishing rod.
