@@poweredman Using similar teams isn't the same as using the same team. What are the chances of an entirely different player comes up with the same strategy as the guy whose team got leaked and caused a massive panic? Wolfe even said it, Bradey Smith didn't have experience with the team and had the wrong version. They just took the team that seemed the strongest without thinking about the downsides of that version. "Nobody cares about him" is an incredibly ironic statement considering that the guy "nobody cares about" caused the entire Pokemon competitive scene to shift and made everybody rethink their teams just because of the team he built. The same guy who has other competitive players build teams, and the same guy that has the biggest onlline presence in the vgc scene. Wanting a Patreon is a perfectly normal thing to do, he never said you have to subscribe to the Patreon, it's a totally optional thing to support him. You apparently seem to think content creators are this big royal deity who need no help from anyone and look down to peasants. He's human too and these videos take time and effort to make.

@@poweredman it wasn't a similar team, it was a 1:1 copy, and it was by all definitions lame, proof being that it lost because the player didn't understand how to use it well because they didn't come up with it. In a game like competitive Pokémon, both singles and doubles, copying a team build instead of coming up with them yourself is by all means a loser move. Now if you're the type of player who sticks to copying premade teams and builds and felt targeted because you can't be assed to spare braincells to make a team for yourself, that's another story.

People who use the efforts of others in an attempt to get ahead will always exist in this world, and that's a sad truth, but I'm glad you didn't let that get to you. Everyone here, every genuine fan watching that either doesn't care much for competitive or is a casual player looking up to the top, we've all got your back no matter what. It is not a pokemon problem tbh, the pokemon community is relatively good, these problems are more competition/sports (in this case esports) problems where players are forced to go as close to the rules as possible to gain the highest chances of winning. In my perspective, as someone that hasn't won a regional before, I would be honored of someone copying my team, but obviously having everyone prepared for it would be a nightmare.

@HieuNguyen0602 10 месяцев назад
@@billdewall6152 No, he shouldn't. I love Wolfe's content and respect that he is always able to create top team on his own, but disrespecting others who don't do that is ridiculous. Not everyone's main job is Pokemon to be able to spend hours building a team, and also not everyone has 10 years worth of experience playing the game. Everyone has to start somewhere, and that somewhere is seeing a good team, understanding it, re-creating it to his comfort and piloting it to good result. This is what 90%-95% of the community do. The term "stealing" is also very misguided. It's not like Brady hacked Wolfe's account or did some shady stuff to extract private information. The 6 pokemons can be already seen on showdown, and if you played or have friends played against the team 3-4 times, you should know all the moves (and to be honest, the pokemons are pretty gimmicky, so you can guess most of their moves anyway). The EVs spread is created by Brady independently, which if you are a long time viewer of Wolfe, you should know that EVs can radically change the way the team is played. Even Wolfe confirmed in the video that Brady's version is not the version Wolfe used in the tournament.

And then nearly 50 minutes later, at the very end of the video, when you said "And like I mentioned before, only 1 player has ever managed to win the World Championship after starting in Day 1...... thankfully that player was ME." My jaw literally dropped to the floor. I don't know who you are, I don't know your story, and the way you were able to keep my attention and surprise me at the end like that is truly magnificent!
