Absolutely love my morning routine. Alarm set for 4.50 am Mon-Fri - write my journal entry for the day - have a black coffee -3 teaspoons in an express cup & off to the gym. My plan was always to have a longer lie on the weekends but my body now wants me to get up 😂Love Love Love ‘my’ morning time. I apply intermittent fasting and can honestly say I’m the fittest I’ve ever been at 58 years of age -it’s not always easy getting out of my cosy bed early but I push myself because I know I always feel great after my morning workout ❤️
I stopped the video momentarily to comment on Hal's gratitude in the midst of his migraine headaches in the hospital. Unlike Hal I had no family around me. I had a botched open-heart surgery in 2008 and I was treated dismissively as the hospital was concerned that I had 7 years to sue them (but I was uninterested in that course of action. I just wanted to survive.) I had heard Dr. Bernie Siegel speak and has read his books on being an exceptional survivor and I remained calm and patient as I sought additional help at another hospital. Like Hal, I was grounded in the idea: "I'm going to live!" And here I am at 77 still doing well. Mindset and attitude taken to a deep level is EVERYTHING.
Wow, so inspiring! I lived with cancer for 3 months before I was finally forced to go to the ER. My Oncologist prescribed an aggressive chemo and radiation treatment. I did 6 mos straight it almost killed me. When I was in need of a blood transfusion, my Dr. ordered it against my will. I refused it, and he basically told me I was going to die and had other Drs tell me the same. I was only 19 at that time I was worried about diseases in the blood coming up later in life. With good old home remedies cooked by my mom and aunts, shark's fin or claw, can't remember which I had been taking, and faith, my platelets went from 15,000 to 130,000 which was normal levels in 1 week!! Everyone in the cancer ward called it a miracle. I regret that I went through the aggressive chemo. That was 30 years ago and I've never had it return. I've also tried living a healthy lifestyle since then. I'm grateful to Drs for acute treatment but I haven't had a primary care physician since that experience. I just focus on a healthy diet and exercise to keep me healthy. 🙌
This is a great message for people a great story I did research decided to turn down chemo and radiation So many wonderful things out there to help It's 6 years later. I'm still alive when I do go to the doctor they are very surprised.
I wait until the last minute to wake up! I love to sleep and have not yet figured out how to change my "natural" biorhythm, which is a "night owl." But, as soon as I get up, it's about drinking pure water, doing Wim Hof breathing exercises, prayer and affirmations, and Qi Gong exercises outdoors in the light. Now because of Dr. Mindy, I delay my first meal until 11am and it feels amazing!! Definitely a work in progress...so appreciative of this dialogue and all of the rich dialogues at our fingertips 24/7 on RU-vid that inspire me to grow. xoxo
This is wonderful. Can’t thank you enough for this conversation. I had cancer 10 years ago and somehow intuited a lot of what you are saying. I developed an absolute conviction, that I would not leave my husband and kids and said repeatedly “there is no plan ‘b’”. I refused to fail. I thought I was in denial and didn’t talk much about it. I was so sure of my belief that I didn’t need to discuss with anyone. I was even a little embarrassed to feel that way. Sometimes I would try on the scared, cancer patient, victim persona but it didn’t fit. I don’t know how I did that, but it worked! Thanks for the validation that I was right all along. 😊
This is by far one of the best podcast I've ever heard. I'm going to start the Miracle Morning tomorrow. I'm my father's only caregiver and a wife and mom and never have time or so, I thought for myself and not a morning person, but I will do this for me. I'm so excited. Thank you.
As a Miracle Morning practicer for years, this is one of the most AMAZING podcasts!! I got chills as I was watching. My 2 favorite people… Dr. Mindy and Hal Elrod ❤
Dr. Mindy, I was divinely directed to your videos and have been binge watching one after another. Thank you for you dedication to women's health/fasting and to mankind in generally. You have the most insightful guest that are full of passion and compassion, wanting to help us all heal with their knowledge and experience. I agree Hal is amazing and I will be following him too. New subscriber 🤗
🎉 what a great & positive human. I absolutely ❤ this podcast and will add to my healthy healing life style. I have been working on a morning routine (i even set a timer for exercise etc) done vision boards, increased my readings and listened to your podcast, all to better my life. But the ME hour makes so much sense! I want my life to be different. I am willing to wake up with clarity and energy! Thank you for this!! I am willing to change 🎉 and start with +'ve affirmations! I am so grateful ❤😂
Wowzer! Inspirational. They are both VERY passionate about their teachings. As I'm exactly there, stuck in my patterns/daily habits that don't serve me, and desperately want change, I receive the valuable advise by both authors and will def try the Morning Miracle Routine. And then I'm also battling a chronic disease and resisting conventional medicine, but at the same time resisting holistic medicine, bot because I want to but because I'm so stuck in my life for such a long time, I just procrastinate on myself. Again the Miracle Morning routine will def help me here. I feel energised and inspired by Hal's story and mindset and I know my God is great! He has equipped me with the ability to heal, if I choose LIFE! Thank you Hal for sharing your gift of teaching. You shine God's face.
Hal, you are the most inspirational person ❤ you are beyond wonderful, loving kind. There aren’t enough adjective to describe how perfect you are. Thank you for sharing so authentically. I’ll be listening to your podcast as well. ❤
Thank you Mindy for this life changing interview with Hal Elrod. This was AWESOME! 👏 I can't wait to download the Miracle Morning app.🙌 I listen to a dozen or more of your intermittent fasting (IMF) RU-vid videos and have practiced your suggestions / tips and can bear witness to the fact IMF really works. I do OMAD 3-4 days out of the week and feel great. I successfully challenged myself to a 30 day once a week 24 hours fast and felt invigorated... IMF for life!!💃 Keep inspiring... you never know how far your reach is.
This video is very impressive. I am so struck by your perseverance, courage and conviction and belief in your ability to follow through to your healing. This is the best advice video I have listened to and trust me I have listened to hundreds on health and wholistic health
*** A transcript of their conversation is below the title, so when I touch or click on "more" and follow along there, it really helps me pay attention! And if my mind wanders, I can scroll back and click on a timestamp to go back and replay then it continues on. Fantastic! ❤😊
OMG Mindy - thank you so much for this podcast x I have only just discovered you and the fasting way of life and fully embracing it - it has been lifechanging, but introducing me to Hal Elrod was next level : ) I cannot believe firstly how much you have influenced my health and now I look forward to greater things with Hal. Just downloaded the Miracle Morning app and had a quick look - I am soooo excited to start tomorrow morning. Now I have body and mind covered - yay : )
Such a powerful message that I keep going back over and over to re watch this episode because I can relate… We can choose who we want to become and yes to how we want to live our best life ❤
This is so incredibly amazing that I’m going to get up tomorrow and take notes. This is really life changing. Can’t wait to see the documentary. “Unconditional gratitude “ WOW! Thanks Dr. Mindy ❤
So right on time! Thank you for bringing him to your podcast Dr. Mindy! I’ve been dealing with Colorectal Basal Precancerous Squamous Cells for the past 10 years. It will clear up for a year and then come back. I will add in the information on affirmations but I will confess it never felt right to say something that wasn’t true. Thank you so much.
Omg! This interview was so amazing thank Dr Mindy for the tremendous job you are doing and all the help you are sharing with all of us. Thank, thank you ❤🙏🏼
Amazing mindset. Oof, Hal’s dad filming his son in his most painful moment (sued that nurse?) must’ve been horrible for dad! Would love that interview, bcuz I’m a mom & that alone would’ve zapped me. Mr Elrod is amazing too. 👏🏼 I understand I’d have to match my child’s mindset for that time, what an emotional rush. Thank you, Dr Mindy, for this inspiring video!
This is a amazing and inspiring video, we all needed this encouragement at this times, thank you so much for sharing this success inspiring story … love it 😊 !
38:15 from Australia I love this . Just had cancer 2nd time now I’m going to follow your advice so I don’t get it a third time thanks Miracle man. 🤷♀️🤣🌈
Hi I loved this interview, never heard about this book, author, but i fell in love with his energy personality the way of thinking, its nothing new invented here but all said in a new way so convincing and energised i really can get it, espessialy the afirmations part( i always thought there r stupid and laying to oneself) u can really feel authors passion and good energy, thank you so much❤
Incredible guy ❤ I love him and his approach to life. I wish to achieve the same, but it is so hard. I've started already and pushing forward. Great podcast 👌🏻💪🏻
I feel like, when you tell someone to accept those negative feelings, it's the same as telling them it's ok to give up....kind like, giving their farewells
It's a cortisol spike from past trauma. Look at ways of healing trauma and also ways of managing cortisol. I fixed this after many years it is possible. Go well my friend X
I'm confused by the contradiction regarding sleep. On the one hand we're being told "in order to be successful, wake up an hour earlier every day to give yourself an hour of your own time". And then on the other hand we're being told "in order to have energy and be healthy, make sure you're getting enough sleep every night". It seems this only works for people who are not the primary care-giver of others in their life every day all day long. You can try to make up that lost hour of sleep by going to bed an hour earlier, BUT if the kids go to bed an hour earlier so you can make up that hour of sleep, they sure as heck will either get up sometime during the night or get up with you during that "hour earlier" in the morning - which defeats the whole purpose of the Miracle Morning. I will say the affirmations are fantastic though!
