OG Dragonball was a fun, lighthearted gag anime with somewhat creative fights (like Krillin vs Jackie Chun). Z (especially OG, not Kai) was the most of time bad - full of filler and lazy fights (my number is bigger than yours, so I win). Except it had some good characters and their arcs (like Vegeta's redemption). DB franchise is like a planecrash in motion.

@@drunkenpeanut6582 Exactly! The way Isagi calls Barou Donkey, especially the "Let's go, Donkey..." and when he says "I've got to DEVOUR him!" The sub just doesn't have the same intensity. It's not even just the dub. When Isagi got that girn when Barou said "You better keep them coming Isagi" and when characters evolve and find crazy new plays. That's what hypes me up so much.
