i allways been super tired 5-6 clock in the day . so i started to sleep in 2 parts. i love early morning and late at night. my head seems to wake up at midnight. like a light switch. my son is the same. we can be awake til 4 am and it feels natural. when i read about sleeping in parts it made such much sense to me. but sometimes its all over the place.. and also changing with age :)

This was awesome. Apparently I'm a wolf and sometimes I have a lot of trouble sleeping because my mind is running circles when I'm trying to sleep. I took a lot of notes and am going to execute on them to see if it helps. Thank you so much for making this presentation public!

Had to pause this video and take the quiz. I seem to be a dolphin, and I'm wondering if I should worry about it or not. (Typical Dolphin eh?) This is extremely fascinating stuff! :)

I work the night shift (happily). That quiz didn't take that possibility into account. It's 7am and time for bed. I wish I could properly take the quiz.

I agree! The questions almost exclusively work for office jobs. Working class jobs/trades don’t fit easily into the quiz

Goodness, after 25+ years I know why I feel so drowsy until noon every day, love to sleep until 8am and I can't fall asleep before midnight. I usually go to bed after 10:30pm but it takes me 1-2 hours to fall asleep... I thought I was insomniac or something. Apparently, I'm a wolf.

You need look into the stimulus of all kinds throughout your whole day. I am a Bear with Lion tendencies. Since high school I was able to wake up at 5:30ish and be fine (very little grogginess). When I got to college I lost the ability to wake up early because of blue light from screens, partying, alcohol, processed food, etc. I say this book has lot of useful information....I am very introverted (lion tendency), but I can easily talk anyone and hold a conversation about topics I do not know with ease (Bear tendency). I have been this way since I was a kid but the bad habits in college took away from quality sleep and overall health. I have read the book and strongly recommend it but you must minimize the bad habits first, then "chrono models" from the book will become more evident. I have friend who is a "wolf" and it scary to realize how well he fits the model (always grumpy, food craving, wants to get married asap).

i dont believe in labels. it takes away from having a growth mindset. anyone who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you a book. This guy wrote "The power of when". Funny that he doesnt know the power of when to plug his book. Never plug at the beginning.

He said during this presentation that bears tend to be more likely a "hybrid" in their schedule. And yes, no one should ever fit fully into a label, but I think it's pretty well understood that the chronotypes are GENERALITIES, not hard and fast rules. Criticisms over a score on a quiz seem a little premature, imo. My suggestion to anyone who got a chronotype they didn't agree with: try out the schedule for a week and see how you feel. You may be (pleasantly) surprised! I certainly was. And yes, I got conflicting results, but I chose the more likely type and went with it. It's been great, actually. Good luck!

Eggs are objectively healthy, good amount of protein and fat and has a lot of nutrients. High cholesterol foods aren't actually unhealthy, look into it.
