Man, I’d love a remake of Battle Blitz with a bit more polish. Iron out some glitches, complete the movesets of the villains, add a normal vs mode where any character can fight any other, and maybe add Terra and Slade as extra characters, and it’d be golden.

The physics in Smash Fest remind me a lot of the first Super Smash Flash. The characters slid all the way across the ground and literally every attack would knock opponents back super far for no reason in the exact same way.

now that you mention it, I vividly remember something like that. it had Timmy, Vicky, Gordon and I think Crimson Chin ? don't remember the other 2-3 characters if it had 6 like Spongebob Edit: The Fairly Oddparents: Fairies of Fury is its name. it had Mark and Crocker too

reminds me of a really old spongebob flash fighting game where you didn't even move your character. I think it was just spongebob and Sandy and you'd click your opponent in different spots to hit them

A lot of the animations in Reef Rumble seem to be traced from frames in the show, and there's a lot of inconsistencies. For example, a lot of Sandy's sprites have much thinner limbs and look like they were modified frames from the 2006 episode Karate Island (based on the shared release date and similar fighting theme, the game may be a promotion for the episode).

The Fairly OddParents also had a fighting game similar to Reef Rumble. It was called Fairies of Fury.

Fairies Of Fury Is Basically a Reskin of Reef Rumble but the only difference is the sprites, music and etc.

It's weird that the characters in Smash Fest are nearly accurate in proportions, although I'll admit it's funny seeing a penguin beating up a cow on his hind legs. But anyway, you ever think about covering other cartoon fighting games like Billy and Mandy and Punch Time Explosion?

This isn't a fighting game but I'd like you to try out Block Party. It's made by the same developer as the first 2 Super Brawls and it got 2 awful sequels as well

Zetta, have you ever taken a look at Fight of Animals or Fight of Gods? They are both made by the same developer and both quite absurd, at least with their cast. I'm not good at real fighting games, but they seem to have somewhat well made mechanics. They might be fun to just take a look at. Either way, good video as always.

I like how Reef Rumble has some poses as fighting stances, like SpongeBob's victory dance before the March Band's performance or the dance that Squidward when he's doing his performance at the Kristy Krab.

You actually did mention one game by name but didn't talk about it. Reef Rumble was mistaking referred to as Bikini Bottom Brawlers once in the video, but I am curious what are your thoughts on it. It's a SpongeBob Platform Fighter where each character has an attack and special alongside a super move and the ability to utilise items. Even had Online, albeit I never got it working.

Honestly I didn't grow up with any of these games but hearing you talk about them is just nice, Also one game I think you should also check out is teen titans go jump joust. The best way to describe it is its like dive kick but slightly more complicated, slightly.

smash fest is the perfect requisite of what not to do in a fighting game, ugly animation, boring movesets, easy infinites, and low moveset variety. (I know rivals and smash has the ladder but they manage to pull it off spectacularly)

Someone should make a Battle Blitz fan remaster or fan sequal seeing that CN never will even if it's a MUGEN or IKMEN GO build IDC as long as it has it's much needed improvements, a multiplayer mode and of some kind of online (not needed but will be nice) It would be one of the most fun and unexpected fighting games out there

Teen Titans Battle Blitz had platforms and I always, always felt that was missing from normal fighting games. I want something I can jump onto a half-height up from the other guy to change things up, just a little. Tekken has stage diversity but nobody has slopes anymore.

Battle Blitz looks really polished even though the hitstun and knockback still seems bad and I am do not see any real combos. Smash Fest and Reef Rumble look like they have some fun to them, but I probably would have preferred Smash Fest. I do like Squidward's design in Reef Rumble, just odd that he can not hurt you without projectile.

great video, if you make another video there are 2 games that I know, one is TKO: Titanic Kungfubot Ofensive that I couldn't find in flashpoint, but if you find a way to play it, at least I remember to be fun, and the other one is the Ben 10 Omniverse Final Clash that's on Flashpoint

The Super Brawl franchise, SpongeBob SquarePants Reef Rumble, and Teen Titans Battle Blitz are some free online 2D fighting games on the internet that I know, and there are also a few more. I also know the Regular Show game Battle of the Behemoths, the Ben 10: Omniverse game Final Clash, the Hero: 108 game Hidden Kingdom Showdown, The Incredibles game Save the Day, and TKO: Titanic Kungfubot Offensive.

It was "Bikini Bottom Bust-Up" i believe. It was a karate punch out game where Spongebob fights Sandy, Patrick and Squidward.
