The Prelude | Final Fantasy VII 

I don't think they realize how deep this tune is ingrained genetically into a considerable amount of humans still to this day.

I heard this back in 1991 when trying to understand FF1, I had no idea how big this was going to be years later.

probably one of the most recognizable theme songs of all time. put the simple tune as your ringtone and watch how many people grin and say "final fantasy. alright!" when your phone rings.

This is a lullaby for an entire generation of gamers.

We are all guided through time to this very moment, listening to this very song, that brings us all together. No matter how dark the world gets, remember this song, and this light we all share. ♥️

I had a ratatouille moment when they music started and was taken back to being 7 years old and pressing start on an experience that would stay with me forever.

orchestra really could have covered up weak spots in the chorus in the second half had it been involved. And what happened to the piano at the end? it was intentional, at least, but why?

Why didn’t they start it with a harp? Piano sounds nice but the harp is the soul of the prelude

I feel as though there is too much going on with this rendition of the prelude. It would have been much more effective to have kept it somewhat simpler. Still, it is very, very good. Well done.

As a chorister….super cringe at the choir on this one. Sorry guys, but you cannot be that flat and out of tune even at this amateur level. I gotta wonder if it was difficult to hear each other or something because it got hairy not once or twice but constantly. The conductor made no effort to correct their pitch either. Also, that is the most cramped stage I’ve ever seen. I have no idea what happened at 2:59. Who arranged this? Yikes.
