Sure, the premium bonus might have some benefits… but your teammates flying the same plane are just as great a detriment. They take “brain dead” to the next level.
Aim 9bs are really good at unsuspecting enemies but I find them too inflexible. I take air to air nords, you can fire them in head ons, behind the enemy and unlike aim9bs you can get rid of them without lock.
I've been flying mine recently, and if you ever need to get rid of some weight, just lock the sun and blast some missiles. I usually shoot off 2 right after take off. Also interesting choice of 20m fuel. I find most of the time min fuel is good enough and it makes the plane significantly lighter and better performing.
I'd say fuel quantity is definitely about your playstyle. If you're going in hard and aggressive min fuel is a must but if you tend to find yourself surviving later into the matches 20 mins will save you quite often. I used to take min fuel but after 5 or 6 instances of losing my advantage after being forced to RTB I started taking 20 mins and have found success with it.
@@proofostrich9061 even more painful if you accidentally min fuel in a 104S and don’t notice as you climb with max burner only to realize as the first merge happens that you have 30s of fuel left 😂😂😂
I think I got lucky here. Remember that the hover sausage has multiple nozzles making it a bigger target for IR AAMs. It's also horrendous in a turn to the point where it stalls out in a super sharp turn.
please play the P-38L-5 LO - all the P38s after the G got late war M2 Brownings for full M20 Tracer American Freedom, plus a 20mm cannon, plus NEW BOOSTERS for speedy roll rate which beats an Fw 190, plus an interceptor airspawn plus airbrakes for you to escape dives!!! pleas pleas please do it. is outrageously fun
I like to take 9 minutes of fuel, especially since it makes u much lighter and more nimble. Because you are at high altitudes alot of the time it uses fuel more slowly, and overall 9 minutes seems to cut it for me. I suggest you try it out!
You have come a long long way since i first started watching u spit! Keep up the great content! I will say though, based on this vid i think that min fuel load would have gave u the edge to grab a couple more than 9 kills without affecting your endurance that much seeing as how ammo and missiles were totally expended before you had less than 14 min of load left.
swift f1 was my first jet. definitely no afterburner and no extra throttle. I like to crutch min fuel, for the good acceleration has saved my behind from F sabre's that would have otherwise caught me countless times. thank you for the content spit!
As of recently I’ve been using the premium saab105 after I saw your video and I fell in love with it the acceleration is out of this world you can rush enemies spawns and then soar to 12k feet after a few engagements love the videos thanks for the tips
Ive noticed that using 2 9bs is better imo because it allows you to get to height earlier and gives you a better top speed and turn rate while keeping your missiles-"
"A burnt hover sausage" never tired of these random phrases. The Swift F1 does not have an afterburner no, the Swift F7 does though, both are very fun and capable planes. I'll probably look into picking this plane up in a future sale.
Out dogfighting an f-86 is the most satisfying thing ever. They think they will outurn you, then you trick them into a one circle and end up behind them. Don't attempt to rate fight them though, they'll win.
I got this thing for free from something by Gaijin where I could chose any premium vehicle of my choice. I took the G.91 because I was grinding the German jet line
@@mohitagar1 Its a random gift I think. Theres some reddit post about it that some players were getting a choice to pick any prem vehicle of any nation of their choice. I chose the G.91 since I was grinding the German air
@@mohitagar1 They kind of nerfed the AS-20s for ground and pound. You have to be directly on top of them to kill them I feel like. Jets not bad at all you have to play it right. Wings break at 700 km/h so you need to keep the speed in check while trying to turn hard. The Aim-9s are meh. You have to get really behind them and fire them when they aren't turning around so much. Straight line is a kill but people going left and right will probably dodge the missles
Hey spit got a suggestion, either the Avenger bomber at 1.7 with the same engine as a B-25 or the brigand "bomber" that has bomber spawn and 4 nose mounted 20mms, they are menaces
Great video, a nice plane at a horrible BR where you often face supersonics. At least this is my case. Can you make a video with the hunter fga 9 and how to deal with faster planes with better missiles. I know you have energy retention but that’s about it.
Forgive me, as I am a console player (although I own this G.91) , but this, the German variant, jet was removed in like November last year wasn't it? I guess PC players might be able to get it on marketplace. Handy tips as I enjoy this jet, but just wanted to point this out for fellow console players who find this. @@Stupidlyrice The Italian one is still available, the German variant is the one in the video. Unfortunately once I have bought it it doesn't show if new players can buy it. AFAIK the German one was removed at the 9th birthday sale along with like the British Hunter FGA 9.
using this has been painful for me lately, just spaded the f105d and am working on the mig19s, it just feels so slow and wings rip so easily in comparison.
Hey Spit short question: What belts do you run on the .50 cals? For me, it feels like when I hit people it barely tickles them (compared to anything 20mm+) no matter how often I hit people they wont take any major damage unless I hit the engine or randomly pilot snipe them, I tried multiple different belts (universal, tracer and ground targets) and I really have mixed results with them, also do you think its ever worth running the r4 without any missiles and min fuel (9 minutes) for the performance upside?
How the F do your Aim-9Bs guide themselves better than when I use the R-60?! I can be literally straight behind an enemy and yet the Aim-9B will yeet itself into the ground right after the launch
Not really because I just killed 3 planes in an A10 premium with subscription killed 20 ground units and had over 1k RP bonus for said A10 and we won the match and only got 24k RP. Gaijin needs to fix their stupid ass grind it didn’t even get me a quarter of the way to the vehicle which is the last prop navy fighter in that tree because I never researched them. The grind is u real at higher tiers.
Yes all good till you get 9.7 game with A10 ,AV-8,F105 and so on then you realise 90% of the time you get uptier in game and 9k gold 60$ is wasted this is Gaijin for you.

I’m looking forward buying the G.91 or MiG17AS, just to have some fun, grind some SL and upgrade my tech trees a little bit. Which one would be a better option? I was sure about MiG because of grinding my Russian tech tree, but right now I’m confused
The mig 17AS is great, i bought it like a year ago, it was my first jet and taugh me well, at the begining the guns are annoying but when you know the more you're a destruction machine (got like 300+ games and 800+ kills) , fast and agile. In the end depends on what tech tree you want to grind, but whatever you decide, buy it on discounts. I think on march one is coming of 30% off
This video has motivated me to grind out my German air tree with the G.91 after I left it for the F-5. Now the matchmaker is back to normal and the hordes of A-10s are gone I’ll be playing it.
If it had the defas it would be my go-to air grinder. but those 50s absolutely ruin any fun i have with them. and Aim9bs are so ridiculously easy to dodge its not even funny, and unfortunately you fight things that simply curbstomp any attempts at using them unless they made every critical error in the book. AA20's are fun but they just DUMP performance for a missile that you can ALSO only really use on unaware enemies, except you have to focus pretty hard on hitting it and thus will likely not move very much. Headons you have a case but i only have ONE situation where thats worked for me thus far and it was on an A10, so does it REALLY count?
I mean for a 8.7 it's quite cool looking ones. Honestly I prefer the fuselage of G91 rather than sabre or mig17 at 8.7. Well if you're planing to play US or Israel, the A4 Skyhawks is good looking too.

The G.91 actually plays well with "experienced player". Sure the AV8A is much better but if we're talking on 8.7, the g91 aren't really bad (unless ofc you're fighting Skyhawks which can be beaten once again with the right tactics). Then again, such good premium planes such as yak38, mig21sps series, or AV8a have a BR around 9.0, which increase the chance of being uptier to fight phantoms and good luck fighting em because those jets are quite steroids when it gets downtier (reason why they are called the "missile bus").
Suggestion, try to not talk as if you are playing right then, as it is quite obvious that you are speaking over a game that happened a few minutes/hours beforehand, or better yet, start up your mic when starting up a game, to show how you would actually act during a game. Other than that, nice video
I personally prefer adding the hindsight 20/20 factor into my videos so I can talk about mistakes, etc. In the heat of the moment I may not get the chance to realise I've made a mistake
