I always noticed how Rod Roddy announces through the years. He was full of excitement in the 80s into the 90s. Then towards the end of his tenure you can tell he wasn’t into it.

For starters, during that time in the 2000s he was sick with cancer. he had breast, colon, and stomach cancer. Today would’ve been his 86th birthday.

8:15 MYM cue...pre-MYM (the game debuted in 1989). 10:45 Someone named Dallas...and the only person I ever heard of named "Dallas" is Dallas Raines of KABC-TV Los Angeles.
