Clip from WOW the Prime show in Japan. Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess singing Wandering Child... without Raoul...tee hee. I couldn't find a clip of it on youtube. Please enjoy.
I love how Sierra sings it, "Yet MY soul obeys." All the Christine's I've seen live, as well as recording that I've heard(aside from Sierra's) are all, "Yet the soul obeys." I just feel like it has a deeper meaning.
I know Ramin is married and I should be doing homework but Ahhhhh he and Sierra work together so well and the way that they're looking at each other during the duet part to keep time and the little half smile he gives her at 1:15 on "beauty"..... ^_^ They're such good buddies and have beautiful chemistry. This just makes me so happy!
I like that this is the song they chose to sing for this event. It's always POTO, or MOTN, or AIAOY, or Wishing. We never get a good, out-of-context Wandering Child.
I think this is the Japan tour they went on where after, Ramin said in an interview that after this tour, it wasn't a case of he wanted to sing with Sierra, he "needed" to. Lucky girl! The way they look at each other, it really feels like we walk in on something intimate #feelinglikealampost
Wow! I melted! When they made eye contact, well synchronized, harmonized and then finished but didn't break eye contact and then smiled!!! Hell, they r the perfect duo!
When they make eye contact it so hard for me to look at them because they're both so passionate and I feel as though I'm intruding on something very special :' )
I gotta admit, it’s so very nice to hear this song with Raoul’s “racket” (I’d very happy if you get me)I can finally hear every word without straining. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful performance. ☺️
This song is way too short it's over so quickly 😔. I love that it's just these 2, the play you can't hear half the song because of the whiny raoul interruption
This is my favorite moment in the entire show. Ramin and Sierra are perfect together when they perform. I wonder if they stopped partnering as often when the Rierra shipping got bad? Ramin has a wife after all. I feel like we don't see them together anymore.
This song loses something without Hadley ??? You’re obviously 12 years old and a complete idiotic clown, what’s missing is the greatest male stage voice of all time Steve Neal Barton….. the original, and ONLY one who ever made Raoul sound like a man, and not some shitty actor sounding like a teenager just playing a part. The role was created for Steve Neal Barton, everyone else did their best to “play” Raoul……. Steve WAS Raoul. This is the only section in the entire score that was removed the majority of its running time after London and Broadway because ALW knew the only one who could pull the scene off as a threesome the way it was originally written was Steve Barton. Why don’t you go back to doing what you do best…watching old re-runs of “Friends” and critiquing that useless garbage, and leave the POTO enlightenment to those of us who actually possess it. Crawford, Brightman, and Barton are the real thing……… everyone else is a second rate imitation.
Gosh, amazing!!!! They`re amazing together, and they sing pure and beautiful!!! Cool!! My favourite Phantom/Christine couple!!! I think this duet is a masterpiece♥ ...and here 1:18... well, I can`t say anything. Ramin`s voice is awesome. Awesome. Love them both♥
Oh my... Ramin just made my heart jump out of my chest. It was so much to bear! And Raoul isnt there... Just how I like it! Hes always ruined this beautiful duet.
Interesting that Ramon sings, "Too long you've wandered in winter, far from my FATHERING gaze." Yet the actual printed lyric is: "...far from my far-reaching gaze." Though the Phantom pretends in the beginning to be Christine's Angel of Music sent by her deceased father, he is far from being "FATHERING" when it comes to his attitude about Christine. I wonder how many other Phantoms have changed that particular lyric.
Like in Trey Parker and Matt Stone's "The Book Of Mormon", there's a song called "Hasa Diga Eebowaii" and I Googled it and it does not mean what they said it does.
Something is off between this two. Notice how in the beggining Sierra doesnt look at Ramin and he doesnt look at her. And something seems so off. Idk. Is it just me? Im not getting that strong chemistry vibe i usually get when those two are singing But i liked how they held hands at the end and smiled at each other
The problem I have with these two is it sounds like they're constantly competing against each other. Christine is meant to be much more submissive while phantom is controlled and lures her in
