Actually it's possible that this might have been Jesus/God the Son. In the gospel of John Jesus says "before Abraham was born. I Am" implying that Jesus is the same I AM who spoke to Moses.

Yep. The text says “the Angel of the LORD”. This Angel is a Person who is called YHVH, calls Himself YHVH, speaks as YHVH, yet is sent by YHVH. This Angel can forgive or not forgive transgressions because YHVH’s Name/Presence is in Him. This Angel is the visible representation of the invisible YHVH. In 1 Samuel 3, He is called “the Word of YHVH”. In Genesis 19:24, the ancient Targum Johnathan calls the One who came to Abraham with 2 regular angels HaMemra YHVH (The Word of the LORD). It is this Person, who is the visible representation of the invisible YHVH, who placed Himself in the womb of a teenaged Jewish girl in the late 1st century BC, and was born as a human - Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ).

In the Biblical verses, Aaron was sent by G-d to be with Moses as his speaker. In the film however, Aaron's role was reduced. Aaron was to be the first Kohen Gadol(High Priest)

No. The point that The LORD made to Moses was it matters not the condition of the man, but that The LORD is with him, and that is what matters.

as explained by other people in this comments section, Moses in the Bible had a speech impediment and didn't feel confident in his ability to address the Pharaoh directly. God's response is essentially a reminder that God created *everyone* for a specific purpose, and that Moses' inability to speak didn't matter because in the end God had chosen him anyway. As for the afflictions themselves, well, we could have prevented them too. Where's the blame towards us for making physical and mental disability a part of this world, along with every other hardship we ever have and will face? God didn't force us to eat the fruit.

humans were originally made perfect it was only after the fall of mankind did aging, death, disabilities etc come into existence. Every life has value regardless of whether or not the genes are more sound, whats wrong with you? Your line of thinking started the atrocities of Nazi Germany and many other atrocities.

Originally, Moses had a speech impediment and he questioned whether he could deliver god’s message. God reminded him that he made people’s imperfections, so when god is with him, he could also undo them at his will. One of its points is to juxtapose a mortal and flawed human next to a perfect immortal and all-powerful god. Think of it as the same effect you experience when you enter a mighty cathedral.
