Hi Arthur that is an excellent question. Floor wax was traditionally extracted from palm trees and is a natural product. It has served the same function as a floor sealer and finish. Floor sealers and finishers are now synthetic and have some advantages over natural wax. With that being said, today many people still use the term waxing to describe any floor finishing even with synthetic finishers, so the term is used interchangeably.
Thanks for watching. Dust mopping (with a treated mop) and vacuuming together will yield the best results. Every case and facility is different and the time required to clean, and the amount of soil are both a factor in how you structure your cleaning schedule. So it if makes sense for your case you might choose to include periodic vacuuming in addition to your regular cleaning.
