So 48% of people still think that having their data sold is an ethical business.😂

Thank you for producing this! This is crucial information for everyone, and I'm still stunned that so few people take their privacy and information security seriously. Good for you all for not just educating, but providing services that enable folk to protect themselves.

Both free of speech & privacy should be inviolable rights, worldwide. Btw, 2:44 beautiful hair! 😻

We need digital rights and ethics, all this stuff is way too out of control and its all being fed to AI and being used against us. I do not consent to my data being used in any capacity without my explicit consent and full knowledge. Informed consent should be standard.

How ironic - the privacy paradox. During my visit to your website, I observed the use of third-party images from Cloudinary without any user consent. This essentially disclosed my IP address to Cloudinary without consent. Such practices seem contradictory for a company advocating privacy. Please reconsider such approaches.

Note that this is not a privacy concern because the image does not include a third-party cookie or any other type of tracker.

@@ProtonAG Nevertheless, the fact remains that my visit to your site enabled Cloudinary to obtain my IP address, along with the knowledge that I visited your site, all without obtaining my consent. This, according to the legal precedent set forth in LG München, Urteil vom 20.01.2022, Az. 3 O 17493/20, poses a legitimate concern. Furthermore, it is my belief that actions such as image hosting do not fall within the purview of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. And whether or not Cloudinary is a bad actor doesn't matter; they were still given Personal Identifying Information (PII) without consent, facilitated by your website.

Our assessment is that this is in line with GDPR, however, we are sorry if this situation created confusion. We are working on implementing a process that discloses this more clearly.

@@ProtonAG This case has just reached a whole new level. My original message was either deleted by you or RU-vid, which I find to be disgraceful. I have now reposted it here and will continue to do so if it is deleted again. You need to own up to your mistakes and fix them. Otherwise, you cannot call yourself privacy-focused.
