There will be new ones coming out every few months according to their presentation saying there will be 11 products a year from now on. How is this an issue? The reason no game reprints precons regularly is cos the odds for a new player specifically wanting one that's a year + old is pretty slim and they don't want to take that risk. And just cos it's not Unlimited doesn't mean they can't reprint it when they feel the demand will be there at some point. You can't just walk up to any store and get some precon from 2 years ago in any tcg I know of.

I've heard they plan to release these one at a time, so I imagine that they're always be one to pick up at all times

@@Sloopdoop I'm actually worried about the 1 at a time thing. As someone who still hasn't gone to a CC event, it puts me off. I don't want to show up and half the field is the same exact deck I brought, I think a lot of that could be avoided by releasing 3+ of these at least when it launches, and then releasing 1 at a time after that. It also comes with the possible side effect of the pre-con being hosed by a bunch of regulars who will slot in sideboard slots just to dump on the pre-con deck since they know they'll be seeing a lot more of it. Overall can't wait, but I wish at least for the first run they were coming out with 3 or more of these rather than a single one. It also doesn't help that I really don't like mirror matchups but that's w/e.

​@@absolutevirtueIf it's an actual armory cc event it's unlikely you'll be seeing alot of a new precon unless they somehow make it broken and it features a new hero. Most shops with regulars all play different things. And few regulars will switch over.

$45 is pretty high for a precon so that's a good sign they'll be shooting for premium contents compared to their $12 Blitz decks.

That doesn't make any sense. Limiting supply makes it easier for scalpers to buy everything and then sell everything online at crazy mark ups. If anything, this will make that problem worse.

I think it's just to not have an endless amount of them rotting on shelves
