I like FAB because you feel like your playing a single character, not some min-maxed meds of random cards. I would never play it officially though since I am intensely against the idea of any sort of "living legends" like mechanic that could essentially phase out entire deck builds. If you like a character, you should be able to play that character, period.
Its sad because they ruined 2 of my hobbies. All i wanted was some sanrio and pokemon cards yet, they took them and sold them for way over price. While i do like to look up prices, i care more about getting cards i want rather than a Raymond (animal crossing cards) or Charizard.
I legit got interested when I saw how cheap the packs were and now I hear everyone saying it's expensive. But that could be because I'm used to buying Collector booster boxes for mtg
Man, this is the best Flesh and Blood video ever made. Every point that makes Flesh and Blood such an amazing game you brought up. Keep up the amazing work, and showing the world again and again why it’s is STILL worth playing Flesh and Blood.
Quick question, if my cards are bent the other way, i.e upwards, does that mean that the card has too much moisture, and needs to be dried out rather than moisturised? I just bough the collector's editions of the necron and tyranid commander decks, and they are pringle-tastic, I must say
i think people who say FaB is expensive are just parroting what they've heard other people say, FaB hands down is the cheapest TCG ive ever played. The only expensive cards are cards like spring tunic, but even those cards arent even that bad in comparison to other games.
This really helps I started playing FaB a month ago and struggle with knowing when it´s better to block with a full hand because most of the time I feel like I have to do at least something even if it´s just bad before Flesh and Blood I only played Magic so it´s really diffrent but I love how dynamic it is
Cnc I’ve pulled a total of 9 copies in history pack vol 1 ,5 e strikes tons of equipment. But it took well over 20 boxes. I definitely am opting in for buy these singles y’all! It is definitely cheaper! Lol
To build a enigma only missing cards from mist i needed to spend 400$ - and that is rly too much. I would prefer more use of old cards than pushing new ones.
@@herrjohnny6496 the main core was it is NOT rotating game. The heroes should rotate but not other cards. We should get new heroes that use those old cards not totaly new cards that make older cards a trash.
"Quit Magic and never looked back." It feels like you are still looking back, just with venom instead of fondness. I enjoy watching your videos to learn more about FaB, but each one seems to have several Jabs at Magic. Even this one mentioned multiple times about one of magics bad products. And then the comparison you made felt kindof disingenuous. Is it overcosted? Absolutely, its a produxt i wouldnt buy. But its price is jacked up due to being alt arts and foils. Your paying extreme prices for fancy cardboard not to access certain cards(its still an eggregious price though). As someone who still plays magic(and several other tcg) despite some gripes about the company, it gets a little annoying when it comes accross that i should play FaB because magic sucks. I cant really get into the mindset of liking something becasue something else was worse. Especially since FaB is so insanely different from how most other TCG play. It combines the "any card is mana" aspect of Lorcana with the speed of Yugioh. And then on top of that GREATLY mitigates the card advantage fights other tcg have by giving player their full hand back every turn. Id like it better if there was more focus on what FaB does differently and why it is good, instead of looking at what they do the same and pointing out how others are worse. Idk, that was kindof a rant. I do love your videos. I just keep running into MTG hate and it annoyd me a little. I havent watched all of your videos either, so maybe ive just been unlucky and only seen the ones that have those jabs.
Found you through Del from Peranine; I remember some of your old interviews and frog-head meme shorts, they were great but this video blew my mind. You now live in my head canon as the prof of FAB. I'm serious this video is really that level and quality. Keep up the good work.
Bruh... Saying that Grand Archive is almost the same as Magic is insane. It definitely scratches a similar itch but at least to me it feels vastly different. That said, ever since Grand Archive was first released I wished that it had the card frames and art direction of Flesh and Blood. I love manga and anime but the frame design is very basic and the art mostly looks like it was made for horny 15 year olds. As for Flesh and Blood - I want to get into that game precisely because visually the cards look so cool but I find the 1 on 1 fighting so boring as a concept (I mean just a single character against another single character) and just can't. I know about this game since 2020 but just can't get into it.
@@pythonxz technically yes. There is one blitz hero with 3 Intellect, but having 1 less or more card than 4 is a WAAAAY bigger power change than adjusting lifetotal. One less card every turn makes a hero almost unplayable
It's an amazing game, but i gotta say I'm still pretty frustrated after playing 2 years, i still lack a lot of the staples. I chose assassin, which was a huge financial mistake as the cards prices are just insane. It's pretty discouraging sometimes but well, bit by bit I upgrade my deck and still enjoy the game. I'm pretty sure that at some point I'll get tired of the constant new releases and power creep (hello Kayo and Zen). TCGs are awesome but man what a money trap they are 😅
