I had vid19. I was having problems with cardio in the gym after vid pneumonia. I went to the cardiologist, and pulmonary doctors, they couldn't find a problem. They said it was scaring from vid pneumonia. I bought a hydrogen water bottle, and within 2 weeks i was back to normal. This is my personal experience. Absolutely true.
Thank you for this clarification. This is the most common question we receive; "how much should we drink." As well, I very much appreciate the mention re the portable water / inhalation. You explained exactly why we do not offer this.

For MIZ drops, you should have used 7 mL in the beaker, and for H2Blue, you should have added 6 mL to the graduated beaker. Your sample has more than 10 mL of water for your test sample, which can skew your results by 25-40%, depending on how much water you added above the stated amount (6 mL or 7 mL). Therefore, please redo the test and repost the video with accurate testing. Use the video I made to help you perform the hydrogen concentration test correctly.
@@H2MinuteswithTywonHubbard That is our most common question from customers "how much to drink to obtain a therapeutic level of H2." It would seem it is not clear for most people. I didn't mean we didn't know :) Since there is approximately 0.3mg of H2 in 7 ounces of 1.6 ppm water, we have been suggesting 2-3 cups a day/21 ounces to start with. Obviously our H2 portables far exceed that number, but it seems most people have no issues beginning with 3 cups daily. I also add a caveat, depending on health, size, water needs, any water restrictions etc. We always appreciate your expertise.

I have a question: Suppose i have a Hydrogen Bottle that produces 3000ppb in 10 minutes in 8 oz of water. After making 8 ozs what will happen if I run it through again? Will I then have 8 ozs of water containing 6000ppb? It seems logical to me.
Running consecutive cycles will improve the dissolved hydrogen concentration in the bottle. However, this improvement is not exactly linear. For example, if a 5-minute cycle typically dissolves up to 1.6 mg/L (ppm) of H2, running another cycle does not mean the dissolved H2 concentration will double to 3.2 mg/L (ppm). The dissolved hydrogen gas concentration is determined by the internal partial pressure in the bottle (e.g., PSI). Therefore, while running additional cycles will increase the dissolved hydrogen concentration, it does not mean it will necessarily double it. Additionally, if the bottle is not designed for repeat cycles, you risk damaging it, shattering the glass, or damaging the generator. It's not advisable to run a hydrogen water bottle multiple times if it’s not engineered for it. From experience, if the bottle lacks a pressure release valve in the lid, either passive or manual, it can become very difficult to open, or something will eventually break, including the electrolysis assembly. Running one extra cycle might not pose a problem, but running 3-4 extra cycles is not advisable.
We will be producing a video that shows the H2 concentrations of different H2 water bottles on our sister channel H2HUBB. For now you can review our recommendation on H2 water bottles here: h2hubb.com/recommended-hydrogen-products/

This has been probably one of the most informative video on this subject I have seen. I am one who does a fair amount of research, and it’s good to see someone taking a serious look at this health device. I have always believed you get what you paid for, but where hydrogen bottles are concerned the tech data is more important than the price tag.
I got the Hydrogen4Life brand as they had a video like this on water bottles….they have one with with a dual chamber. It also bubbles even with distilled water…It was $250. But his video didn’t go into as much detail. I drink 5-6 of the mini bottles a day at 10min. I’m going to try out your test, I know the brand I have is very passionate about what they do. I think I found you originally from their channel but I could be wrong. Thank you for all your wonderful videos! Especially as we are learning all about this. ❤
Has anybody tested for heavy metal contaminants in these hydrogen bottles. The electrodes that are responsible for spiltting hydrogen from the h2O eventually degrade meaning with each serving you are ingesting small amounts of that metal electrode. What are they making the electrodes out of? Same issue with vapes. Metal heating elements are degrading and being inhaled.
Here is my responses to a similar question. I would state similar things to your comment. Thank you for your comment. We have done our research. The majority of these devices use titanium electrodes/plates coated in platinum, where titanium serves as the electron carrier and platinum acts as a catalyst for the electrolysis process. Therefore, under normal degradation scenarios, it is possible for these bottles to leach platinum nanoparticles, presenting mixed data indicating potential antioxidant and anti-cancer effects, along with other data suggesting possible harm to the liver. It's crucial to acknowledge the risk associated with purchasing any H2 water bottle on the market. However, laboratory water quality analyses have been conducted on several of these H2 bottles, with all reports coming back negative for heavy metals. For access to the data, please contact H2 Analytics. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6434063/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21042740/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20512471/ I have yet to find any data regarding the release of PFAS or platinum nanoparticles into the water from hydrogen water bottles. Higher-grade Nafion PEM membranes (e.g., 115, 117, etc.) are generally recognized as stable and resistant to chemical and mechanical degradation under normal operating temperatures and conditions. Additionally, these bottles exhibit a very low current density at the hydrogen cell, a crucial factor in preventing leaching of Pt or PFAS. There is still a chance these bottles may leach Pt nanoparticles in the part per trillion (ppt) or part per quadrillion (ppq) range, which is too low to be harmful. Therefore, purchasing a high-quality hydrogen water bottle is critical to ensuring the efficacy and safety of the bottle. I have had discussions with H2 Analytics, who conducted water quality analyses on several of these H2 water bottles, and every report has returned negative for heavy metals. For more information on the subject, feel free to contact H2 Analytics and inquire further.
Loving your channel and all the straight forward, thorough information. I am so grateful to have found you. We almost made the mistake of just jumping in. Hubby is an impulse buyer who would never think to research anything. Luckily, for our bank account and our health, I am the exact opposite. I have a hard time pulling the trigger out of fear I haven’t researched enough to find the best direction to throw my money 😂 This is how I found you and I have been binge watching your videos since. I’m ready to do this thing but I’m still undecided. I have checked out your list but noticed that the company that led us to this adventure is not on your list. We follow Gary Brecka so I’m sure you know which product I am speaking of. He had me sold on trying this but I’m not one to jump on a particular product just because that’s what a celeb, Dr, health coach etc endorses so I’ve been on the deep dive into all the products. Wow! There are ALOT! We’ve also been curious about the Healthy Hydration HydroShot. I saw your video with them and see that they did pass your tests to make your list with their big unit. Did their bottle not meet standards? Or did they just not test the bottle? These are both products we are seriously considering but I may just end up going with the one offered by Spirit H2 🤷🏻♀️Do you have an “unofficial” opinion of either of these products from these other two companies?
Hey! It's great to hear that you are enjoying H2Minutes! Regarding your questions, I can provide more detailed answers via email at Tywon@H2HUBB.com. Here's a brief response: Healthy Hydration didn't submit their hydrogen water bottle for evaluation and approval by H2HUBB, which is why it's not on our recommendation list. While the bottle seems to be a high-end, high-concentration hydrogen water bottle based on the available information, it's essential to note that inhaling hydrogen gas from these bottles is not recommended. Regarding Echo, it's best to discuss that bottle via email, as the answer would be more complex to address. I'm glad you're a researcher and that you found us. Many people are buying hydrogen water bottles hoping to enjoy the benefits of H2, but often get subpar or terrible products, greatly reducing their chances of experiencing hydrogen gas's therapeutic effects. It's unfortunate!
I’m only ten minutes in your video and this is the best video I have found so far on this subject. Crushing it. My question is, if normally I add redmonds ancient fine sea salt to my water for minerals that normal water I think is missing, is it ok to add that same salt to one of these hydrogen bottles? Thanks!
This video was honestly the best RU-vid review /explanation I’ve ever seen! So thorough and explained so clearly with the calculations too! Do you have any recommended products that ship to Australia? Looking to add to my repertoire of autoimmune healing along with doing circadian biology stuff and the auptimmune protocol diet ! Key note: PPB (e.g. 1500ppb) is NOT individual units/amount of hydrogen within the advertised bottle size. PPB in itself is a measurement in standardized volume of 1kg/1000 grams (of water). 1 litre of water is equivalent to 1kg. So yeah guys drink up and don’t forget electrolytes… Or put some money in it. Q. What happens when you put it into another cycle and is it ok to do? How much more hydrogen can potentially be squeezed in?

Thanks for the articulate presentation. When speaking about the role of platinum, you indicate it let's the electricity flow. But isn't the platinum acting to produce a catalytic reaction, or process? I was anticipating hearing this in your explanation. Thanks again.

I have recently found a 1.5 litre water jug with a cap that serves as a hydrogen gas generator, and it is great. You don't have to fill it up, and you can put it in the fridge so you will have cool water. You can do consecutive processing if you loosen the cap for a few seconds between them. What's not to love?
You might have a decent hydrogen water jug in terms of practicality, but it's important to clarify the H2 levels it produces and whether those levels have been verified by a credible third-party. Without knowing the verified H2 concentration, you could simply have a fancy water jug that doesn't provide the therapeutic levels observed in scientific studies.
This is the comment I was looking for. Our education system has failed us. I have no PhD or doctorates but I’m not this damn stupid to believe “hydrogen infused water bottles” to sell for $80.

How long do these hydrogen bottles typically last for (reputable brands)? Is this something you have to keep replacing yearly, every 5 years etc - regarding the efficiency of the hydrogen generation within the bottle
Thank you for the information! I didn’t quite get your point on unfiltered or hard water, if I have normal drinking tap water should I or should I not use the hydrogen bottle?
The point about filtered water pertains to the online claim that these H2 water bottles filter the water put into them, which is not true. If you don't drink tap water, it's best to use filtered water in these bottles, as water purity is not improved by the bottles.
Thank you so much for your in-depth analysis of hydrogen water bottles! Out of all the research I've done so far, you were the most honest! You are so correct when say that these companies will not share the down sides of their products. I am of a certain age and am working to improve my health as naturally as possible! Few questions: what mg/l does your everyday water offer? 2) with a pressurized bottle- won’t the benefit be lost as soon as you release the pressure? (Assuming you need to release the pressure to drink the water… not sure how you ingest without releasing pressure?) Also: isn’t hydrogen incredibly flammable? Pressurized bottles filled with a flammable gas near a battery of any kind seems… well you can see where I’m going here. Please reply!
Q: what mg/l does your everyday water offer? A: Based on Henry’s Gas Law, ordinary tap water or drinking water, including bottled, filtered, or reverse osmosis (RO) water, typically contains small amounts of dissolved atmospheric gases. However, due to the low concentration of H2 gas in the atmosphere (only 0.00005% by volume) and low water solubility, the levels of dissolved molecular hydrogen in regular drinking water are insufficient to produce therapeutic benefits for humans. Normal drinking waters, such as tap water or bottled water, typically contain only 0.2-0.8 parts per trillion (ppt) of dissolved H2 or less. This concentration is approximately a million times lower than the levels considered therapeutic in research studies. Note: In our everyday drinking water, there is typically 8.71 mg/L (ppm) of dissolved oxygen (O2). This fact, as well, is generally unknown to the public. "Hydrogen gas comprises about 5.50 × 10−5 percent of atmospheric pressure; therefore, at equilibrium, the dissolved H2 concentration in ambient water is expected to be 4.29 × 10−7 mM (8.65 × 10−7 mg/L)." www.mdpi.com/1422-0067/23/23/14750 molecularhydrogeninstitute.org/concentration-and-solubility-of-h2/ Q: with a pressurized bottle- won’t the benefit be lost as soon as you release the pressure? (Assuming you need to release the pressure to drink the water… not sure how you ingest without releasing pressure?) A: In hydrogen water bottles, hydrogen gas is dissolved into the water in the form of nanobubbles, invisible to the naked eye. These nanobubbles of H2 are retained in the water due to Brownian motion and require time to equilibrate with the atmosphere or dissipate from the water. Generally, the higher the concentration of dissolved hydrogen gas, the faster it will dissipate from the water, similar to other gases, such as CO2 in champagne. For high-concentration hydrogen water bottles, the half-life of hydrogen gas typically ranges from 100 to 110 minutes (1.6 to 1.8 hours). Consequently, upon opening the bottle, half of the dissolved hydrogen gas will be lost from the water within an hour and a half. Therefore, it is advisable to consume the water promptly to maximize the potential therapeutic effects. www.h2-analytics.com/sample-analysis Q: Also: isn’t hydrogen incredibly flammable? Pressurized bottles filled with a flammable gas near a battery of any kind seems… well you can see where I’m going here. A: Yes, molecular hydrogen exhibits high flammability within a concentration range of 4.6-75% in the presence of oxygen. However, it is crucial to note that hydrogen does not retain its flammability when dissolved in water. This phenomenon can be likened to the non-combustible nature of gunpowder when dissolved in water. Similarly, hydrogen gas loses its combustibility upon dissolution in water. molecularhydrogeninstitute.org/frequently-asked-questions/ I hope this helps.
@sdthyng, that will release the pressure or psi, effectively starting you back at square one. If you want higher dissolved H2 levels, you would have to run consecutive H2 cycles, but that may damage the bottle eventually if it's not designed for it. It's best to buy a high-concentration hydrogen water bottle designed and verified to produce 4.0-5.0 mg/L (ppm) or more. Opening the lid after every cycle means you are repeating the standard psi the bottle generates repeatedly, meaning no increase in the dissolved hydrogen concentration (e.g., 1x cycle = 20 psi, open, repeat 1x cycle = 20 psi, open, repeat. You will never get above 20 psi).
Is the Got Hydro Water bottle reputable? I ordered them canceled after watching your video and am now looking into the sprint water bottle. Would that one be the most in ounces and most hydrogen levels per a full bottle fill? Thanks- your videos are GREAT!
Do you recommend using distilled water only? All other waters have minerals that may collect on the membrane apparatus, affecting the efficiency of the bottle.
@sdthyng, you can use your preferred drinking water with PEM/SPE bottles. Using distilled water is not required. If ordinary water is used, then it's best to do vinegar soaks and citric acid soaks on the bottle once a month to maintain optimal performance.
The term "hydrate" refers to the absorption of water (H2O), containing hydrogen atoms (H), which is distinct from molecular hydrogen (H2). When hydrating by drinking water, you introduce H2O, composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, which are bound together and not in a free form available for use by the body. Conversely, hydrogen water contains dissolved hydrogen gas (molecular hydrogen, H2) at therapeutic concentrations. This hydrogen gas (aka: molecular hydrogen) exists as a free gaseous form (H2) dissolved in the water, distinct from bonded water molecules. Thus, it's important to distinguish between "hydrate" and hydrogen as an element.
What a great video! I still have a question: can I add powder stuff (like whey protein, matcha powder,...) to the hydrogen water or should I avoid it and drink it 'pure'?
Thank you! I would advise not to. Hydrogen gas is a relatively fragile molecule when dissolved into water and any agitation can speed up its rate of dissipation. Thus if your mixing or stirring the protein you will agitate molecular hydrogen out of the solution. It's best to consume it pure to ensure its therapeutic potential.

Can I add molecular hydrogen to stuff like watermelon juice or coldpressed fruit juices and is it okay to add electrolytes like celtic sea salt to a glass of hydrogen water
It's possible to dissolve molecular hydrogen into any beverage or solution. However, I advise against using a hydrogen water bottle for this purpose, as it can lead to bacteria overgrowth. Instead, consider using hydrogen tablets or a hydrogen gas generator to bubble hydrogen gas into beverages. Additionally, it's acceptable to add electrolytes to your water before putting it in your hydrogen water bottle for dissolving hydrogen gas. However, adding electrolytes after processing your hydrogen water can increase the rate of hydrogen gas dissipation, lowering the H2 concentration. Avoid stirring hydrogen water, as molecular hydrogen is fragile when dissolved, and agitation causes gas to escape from the solution rapidly.

One Australian company selling hydrogen water bottles is advertising their product online as having 5500 ppm and when I received the product the specifations stated only up to 2000 ppm. It's a minefield lol 😢
There are many out there like that. We are currently testing a very popular hydrogen water bottle on the market that claims to have 3.0 mg/L, but it's testing 70% lower than its claimed concentration. Just terrible.

The old saying "you get what you pay for" is so true when it comes to these gimmicks. Not only do you have to filter your water before you put it in one of these bottles but real molecular hydrogen cannot be made from a battery charge and it only lasts a few minutes. You need a water ioniser to produce molecular hydrogen in drinking form and one company has been making them for 50 years with a patent so that's what I invested in :)
Sorry I’m a bit confused what does the levels mean in your site? E.g. I was seeing a product I like that is recommended in your site that says Level 3, what does that mean?
A question for anyone here! Since no process can add hydrogen to a closed environment, is the benefit of these bottles that they release the H into a gas that delivers the benefit as apposed to just drinking the H in a glass of water? And what is the benefit of drinking H in a gas form over just drinking it?
Suppose i am able to infuse a very high amount of hydrogen gas into 8 oz of water, for example 20ppm. Would it be safe to drink? In other words slthough tests have not shown negative reactions to drinking hydrogen water, it seems logical that st some point a high concentration may be detrimental. Please advise.
I asked a manufacturer what the volume and PEM was of their H2 bottle, this was their reply below. Is this a good H2 bottle to buy from their answers please The Water Hydrogenator Bottle has a capacity of 280 milliliters. Regarding the PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) technology, the bottle produces a hydrogen concentration at a flow rate of approximately 5 milliliters per minute when using the inhaler nasal cannula. For hydrogen-infused water, the concentration can vary depending on the chosen infusion cycle, typically achieving a hydrogen concentration ranging from several hundred to over three thousand parts per billion (ppb), depending on water source.
@@lsd5365, Their response seems reasonable, although the H2 concentration of the bottle appears to vary widely (0.7-3.0 mg/L depending on the cycle time) and is on the low side for H2 concentration. The main issue with their response is the claim that the H2 concentration depends on the source water, despite it being a PEM hydrogen water bottle. By definition, PEM/SPE hydrogen water systems, including H2 water bottles, produce hydrogen gas independent of source water conditions or conductivity (TDS). The type of water used in the bottle shouldn't matter; the results should be 3.0 mg/L (ppm) based on the type of H2 water bottle they sell. Additionally, they offer an H2 inhalation feature with the bottle, which is pointless as stated in the video. Considering these aspects, I would suggest looking into another bottle. You can review the H2 bottles we tested and approved here: h2hubb.com/recommended-hydrogen-products/

The hydrogen concentration levels for the Pitcher 800ppb, the standard mode operates for 10 minutes, and the high concentration mode operates for 15 minutes. On the other hand, the Jug 1200ppb operates for 6 minutes. Additionally, the Bottle has a concentration of 800ppm with a 3-minute cycle. Our Hydrogen water bottle is made from durable glass and stainless steel, 14 ounces of water. Our Hydrogen water pitcher is made with sturdy titanium platinum electrolytic sheet plastic, 2000 milliliters of water. Our Hydrogen water jug is BPA-free, 1500 milliliters of water. ??? I also asked this question too the company that Gary Breaka in his pod cast interview with Dr. Paul Barattiero, where Gary gives his full recommendation to buying a hydro bottle he uses. The hydro bottle he gives his full recommendations to is over £200 My question was :- I've been looking for a more affordable Hydro bottle but confused on what is a good one to buy I sore your bottle recommend by Gary Breaka in his pod cast interview with Dr. Paul Barattiero but my wife said that Gary Breaka would getting paid to recommend your hydro bottle, as he does not meantion offer more affordable hydro bottles on the market that are worth buying, for thoses people like me that are on a tight budget. I want to find the best hydro bottle in the budget range I have but as I say it's very confusing and don't know who to trust to be guided by. I'm paralysed from the waist down, broke my back in 1995. I drink 3 litres of fluid a day to keep my kidneys flushed and try to prevent water infections but I still get them. I suffer with IBS, neuropathic pain, mild insomnia, headaches because of the high level of Baclofen I have to take though a Baclofen pump in order to control leg and abdomen spasum, as well as morphine in the pump to help block the neuropathic pain. As well as poor cerulation etc and I believe drinking hydro water will greatly help my health. If I'm going to try find the money by borrowing in order to by your bottle, I need to be 100% it is the best and Gary is not recommending it just because of the sponsorship he gets from doing so. I've learnt that the two most important things in buying a hydro bottle is the PEM and volume of the bottle but still really don't understand what makes a good hydro bottle. I cannot afford to send money on the wrong bottle that's not giving me the benifts from drinking hydro water because it does produce the right daily amount of PEM needed, I think that's right. Everyone talks about ppb and I don't understand The answer was :- Hi Lee, Harriet here. I hope you are well. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your situation with me. If I’m being completely honest, I don’t believe our hydro bottle will provide the benefits you’re looking for given your circumstances. As a nutritionist, I understand the importance of making an informed and cost-effective decision, especially considering your health challenges and budget constraints. Please do let me know if you have any other questions or require further assistance and I would be happy to help you. What do you think please on both reply's and is the last reply saying hydro water won't help me in any of my issues not even the ibs ture or because the claims made by Gary Breaka they no to be not ture and he's just recommending there bottle because of being sponsored only. As I've one of the many advantages of drinking hydro water is it helps with IBS. Thank you so much for your time and patients in reading this long reply Lee Denver
My bottle claims to be PEM/SPE tech BUT...I notice the water it produces smells a little like chlorine and the description says 1. Water ionizer for alkaline water and 2. Not to use purified, distilled or non electrolyzed water . It 14oz and says it produces 1600ppb. Did I get scammed?
@@dallasmichaelcyr529, Most likely. Is this the bottle you purchased. Here is one of our test reports on a popular poor quality hydrogen water bottle that many people buy. h2hubb.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/H2HUBB-Official-Test-Report-Hydrogen-Rich-Water-Cup-5282024-1.1-1-1.pdf
@H2MinuteswithTywonHubbard it's this one share.temu.com/DDbutVE639A - seems like same bottle but they are changing the specs to dump their inventory since people are getting wiser. Take a look. Also just sent you a message from your website. Thank you for your feedback.
You're welcome! It's essentially the same bottle. Sorry to hear you got a subpar hydrogen water bottle. Unfortunately, my video helps to educate both consumers and scammers. We've noticed an increase in companies shifting their marketing after we made this video. Therefore, it's best to consult with us or review H2-approved hydrogen products before purchasing a hydrogen water bottle. Most of the popular hydrogen water bottles on the market have been tested in-house. I will review your email as soon as I can. I stay busy helping the world with H2. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Do you guy study chemistry or not? If not just open the most basic chemistry book you have, this is just mind blown. HYDROGEN MIST? Just put water into your mist device.
Very timely, as I'm looking to purchase my first bottle. I checked your recommendations, and have another bottle that looks good - I'll contact you to find out if you think it's a good product.
I emailed you regarding the Echo Go+ and your opinion on their products. I impulsively pulled the trigger on it after seeing Gary Brecka on the DOAC podcast without doing further research. Your content is awesome. Looking forward to your response.
@h2minutes. Tried to contact you regarding a product I’m considering on your online form but the send button doesn’t work. It’s the hydrobottle you briefly mentioned at the beginning of this video. I don’t see it recommended on your site. They claim 1.6ppm concentration. Have you tested it? Do you not recommend it.
Sorry about that. You can email me at Tywon@H2HUBB.com. No, we do not recommend the Hydro Bottle. That bottle uses AWI technology. I would suggest considering purchasing a bottle through our recommendation list. h2hubb.com/recommended-hydrogen-products/
Qlife Hydrogen Solutions Scam imo. Filed dispute with credit card company. My unit leaks puddles of water from top seal and bottom. I just asked for replacement, they offered parts for me to REPAIR. Appears to work but bad design. U have water leaking over USB charging port on side of unit. Paid over $230 awful customer service. When they get your money, they got ur money. Please share to help others
Research datas are different because not the every water and gas the same. I do my own experiments with DIY devices, and have very different results. One water was so strong, that just one glass of water in every four days, heal many diseases. For example, psoriasis reduced 50% after just one glass of water and one night, and after few weeks no more psoriasis.
I did this backward bought the bottle then doing research. I bought a cheap bottle on amazon. use alkaline water to start then use 2 cycles before drinking. since I find myself drinking more water than normal I figure that alone is a win. I have heard a few on u tube mention taking some sea salt just prior to drinking, stating that helps the water go into the cell and not just peeing out, so I do that. as I eat clean I have suspected that I don't get as much salt as I need. do you have any thoughts on the salt with the water and thanks for such clear explanations.
No, I don't. All our recommendations are on our website with links to buy. If people need extra help they can consult with me, which is very common in many industries. Plus, my consulting offers much more value than just telling people what to buy. Keep scrolling on the link and don't just stop at the top...
4.45 ATM is well within pressure that strong glass or even plastic can sustain. Why don’t they do electrolysis with a pressure relief valve set to this pressure, or use a pressure cutoff at this pressure to stop electrolysis? Kind of like a hydrogen soda instead of carbon dioxide. Any brand out there that does this?
Hello Mr. Hubbard. First Id like to thank you for your channel and informative videos on hydrogen. I have a question, I just purchased a 4-in-1 bundle from Healthy Hydration. As I saw this video, I heard you say that inhaling hydrogen gas thru a bottle is a waste of money. I was wondering if using the HydroShot with the cannula is not effective in your opinion?
You're welcome! Yes, my statement pertained to all hydrogen water bottles. The inhalation application for the bottles are utterly useless, as these portable hydrogen water generators do not provide enough H2 to be therapeutic based on the current studies, basic biology, and the fundamental physiological processes of H2 inhalation. Note: I don't even cover topics like the fact that some of the hydrogen gas produced dissolves into the water, reducing the flow rate (e.g. 10 mL/min to 6 mL/min). Additionally, when the bottle is empty, it takes 20 minutes or more to purge the atmosphere from the bottle before pure H2 is delivered to the nasal cannula during inhalation, especially considering the typical volume of these bottles is 250-500 mL. Here's a part of one of my writings to provide further insight: "Let me explain. The mL/min production volume of these hydrogen water bottles is 6-7 mL/min of H2, which is far too low. It falls below the therapeutic target range of 1.3~4.0% of H2 at resting rates or gas exchange of 4~6L/min (v/v). 6-7 mL/min is equivalent to 0.12~0.14% at 5L/ ventilation min (not factoring in the losses seen with nasal cannuals). Furthermore, devices that deliver

I looked at your company recomendations and the reports do not indicate how many bottles you need to drink to get the 7ppm or 2.1 mg. Which of your recommendations is that bottle? I'd rather drink 2 or 3 bottles as your video suggests.
The bottles that have currently passed our evaluation dissolved 4.5-6.2 mg/L (ppm) in their designated volume size or bottle size of 230-240 mL (8 oz of H2O). This means the bottle will dissolve 1-1.4 mg of H2 in the bottle after a 10-minute cycle. H2 conc (4.5-6.2 mg/L (ppm)) x 0.230-0.240 = 1.0 - 1.4 mg of H2 ingested. Therefore, no matter which bottle you choose, you can consume 1-3 bottles per day to ingest 3-5 mg of H2 per day.
You know, ....Before I found your channel, I heard of hydrogen water. My health isn't too good, so I made an impulse (and for me expensive) buy of a hydrogen water bottle. Do you have an opinion you could give me on the ionbottles brand? I bought the ionbottles Pro. Thanks
We tested that bottle. You can review our test results here: h2hubb.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/H2HUBB-Official-Test-Report-Pro-Bottle-Rev.4_25_24.docx-4.pdf

Molecular hydrogen dissolves slightly better in distilled water than in ordinary water containing mineral ions. However, this improvement is marginal, with only a 0.1-0.2 mg/L (ppm) difference. Therefore, it is not a significant enough improvement to make a difference, and is not worth using distilled water for that purpose.
Distilled water does not contain sufficient minerals and salts and will leech those out of your body if you drink it consistently. The electro conductivity of water is worsen without salts.
The Mercola tablets are marketed at 8.0 mg/L (ppm) in 500 mL of water, however, to be accurate the maximum dissolved hydrogen level measure with Gas Chromatography is 7.3 mg/L (ppm) or 3.7 mg of H2 dissolved into 500 mL of water. The lab report can be viewed on the H2HUBB site: h2hubb.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/HRW_Rejuvenation_Final_Test_Report_v2_pilot_4-28-20-1.pdf E.g.: 7.3 mg/L (ppm) x 0.5L = 3.7 mg of H2 Also keep in mind, most of the hydrogen gas is not fully dissolved into the water but exists in a quasi-dissolved state (e.g. nanobubble gas cloud). We do not know how much of this quasi-dissolved hydrogen gets into the blood stream, therefore, we can only confidently say that the client will receive approx 1.25-1.5 mg of H2. That is because we know that tablets super saturate the water with dissolved hydrogen gas up to 2.5-3.0 mg/L (ppm). E.g.: 2.5 mg/L (ppm) x 0.5L = 1.25 mg of H2 The remaining 4.8 mg/L (ppm) above the 2.5 mg/L (ppm) reading is in the quasi-dissolved state (e.g. nanobubble gas cloud). There are no guarantees on the quasi-dissolved hydrogen gas. It is possible we receive much of that gas into the blood stream but we will not know until a blood analysis study is conducted to confirm the amount. Personally, I think we receive some of the quasi-dissolved gas if consumed quickly enough (within 2 minutes of the tablet fully reacting) and therefore I think a conservative figure is that 1 tablet will provide 2~3 mg of H2. Some think it is upwards of 6-7 mg of H2, I don't subscribe to that amount. We really need more data. I say all this to say, that it's not best to think of open-cup tablets in terms of its PPM. Many companies will market it that way which is unfortunate, as it will give people a false conclusion. E.g. Tablet hydrogen water is exactly the same as regular hydrogen water with dissolved hydrogen. E.g. 8 mg/L (ppm) tablet water (containing both dissolved and quasi-dissolved hydrogen gas) is the same as water that contains 8.0 mg/L (ppm) of fully dissolved hydrogen gas. E.g. Hydrogen water systems are pointless. I can just buy hydrogen tables as they will give me 8-12 ppm. In my professional opinion it is best to think in terms of total milligrams regarding these tablets. 1 tablet will give you approx 2~3 mg of H2. We will have more answers in time. I hope this helps. I know it can be confusing. Concerning everything else (bottles, machines etc), it is best to use what I taught in the video. Formula: H2 concentration x volume (liters or milliliters) = milligrams of H2. 1-3 mg of H2/day or more appears to be therapeutic for the human body and clinical trials are administering up to 15 mg of H2/day. So 2 to 3 tablets per day would be a great place to start.
