The PROBLEMS With WWE 2K24's Showcase Mode... 

Taker vs Kane WM14 Michaels vs Austin WM14 Rock vs Hogan WMX8 Those matches are essential.

I’m glad someone brought up the glaring absence of Rock v Hogan at Mania 18

40 years of Wrestlemania and only 21 matches. A true slap in the face least they can do is release a free dlc with the other 19 matches to complete it.

Rock and Hogan and HHH vs taker are crazy to not include. The Undertaker and HHH one was a match the was 2 of the last old gunslingers left dukeing it out. Was amazing match woulda been amazing to play in showcase.

2k are being ass poops with this showcase. Should have been all 40 Wrestlemania’s in the game.

I am with you on this. There were many matches that deserve to be on here that were left off. I'm especially disappointed by the lack of early Wrestlemania matches that could be on here but are not.

nah man you have every right to be feeling the way you feel imo everyone who gets this game should feel the same way they could've brought back so many matches from 2k14 & added a lot of new ones (WrestleMania) Junkyard Dog vs Greg Valentine, The Iron Shiek & Nikolai Koloff vs The U.S. Express, Andre The Giant vs Big John Studd, Wendi Richter vs Leilani Kai, (2) Randy Savage vs George Steele, The British Bulldogs vs The Dream Team, Hulk Hogan vs King Kong Bundy, etc.

i just hate it when they have 3 matches at 1 wrestlemania at WM39. it's just a wasted chance to include some of most remarkable mania match

they EASILY could have featured WAY more matches even with the limitations of major names like jericho, bryan, edge, big show etc working for AEW. i made a short list of notable matches they didn't but easily could have included in the game 1. the ultimate warrior vs randy savage - wrestlemania vii 2. the undertaker vs jake roberts - wrestlemania viii (it's a crime that the undertaker, one of the biggest names in wrestlemania history who is so synonymous with the event only gets 2 matches. feel this one should have been included because it's the first 'taker match at wrestlemania they could do, as both him and roberts are in 2k24 while jimmy snuka isn't) 3. shawn michaels vs bret hart - wrestlemania xii (agree with you on this one) 4. the undertaker vs kane - wrestlemania xiv 5. steve austin vs shawn michaels - wrestlemania xiv (again, agree with you on this one) 6. steve austin vs the rock - wrestlemania xv (feel like all 3 matches are too important to not be featured together) 7. the undertaker vs triple h - wrestlemania x-seven (again, a trilogy too important not to be featured, except unlike the austin vs rock trilogy, not a single match featured!) 8. the rock vs hollywood hogan - wrestlemania x8 (just... how..?) 9. steve austin vs the rock - wrestlemania xix 10. brock lesnar vs kurt angle - wrestlemania xix (brock is in the game but isn't being promoted so don't see why they couldn't feature this one) 11. the undertaker vs randy orton - wrestlemania 21 12. john cena vs jbl - wrestlemania 21 (john cena's first wwe championship win in his career, as well as first hints of super cena, this is surely enough to get this match featured?) 13. rey mysterio vs kurt angle vs randy orton - wrestlemania 22 (agree with you on this one) 14. the undertaker vs batista - wrestlemania 23 (agree with you on this one) 15. john cena vs shawn michaels - wrestlemania 23 (agree with you on this one) 16. the undertaker vs shawn michaels - wrestlemania 26 (both matches are fire and only having one of them is a crime) 17. the undertaker vs triple h - wrestlemania 27 (how is this not in the game?) 18. the undertaker vs triple h - wrestlemania 28 (probably the biggest crime on this list) 19. john cena vs the rock - wrestlemania 29 (since the first one was in 2k23) 20. aj styles vs the undertaker - wrestlemania 36 ('taker's last wrestlemania match, surely deserving enough to be featured?) 21. cody rhodes vs seth rollins - wrestlemania 38 (cody's first wwe appearance in 6 years, also the cover star of the game and this match his not in?) 22. drew mcintyre vs gunther vs sheamus - wrestlemania 39 (a five-star match that would have been SO MUCH fun if it actually made it into the game. if they already have so many wrestlemania 39 matches, don't see why this one couldn't make it) not saying they should add all of these matches, but a couple of these i feel like were a MUST for a mode called "showcase of the immortals".

Just played showcase can't finish Hogan vs Andre the giant because of bugs character won't move sometimes even manager trying to distracting it get's stucked and cant attack or anything.

They are lazy man that’s the issue don’t name something 40 years of wrestlemania and only add 21 matches and the stupid commentary and and real life footage cutscenes really break Emerson for me.

It may never happen, but imagine the possibility that 2K give us more matches for the showcase by DLC or free updates, it's a dream but what if it happens

The fact they still do showcase mode is ridiculous like as iconic is the moments in WWE nobody wants to have to do a showcase mode just to relive the past.

While 2K deserves their fair amount of criticism, they never said the Showcase was named nor going to be 40 yrs of Mania. The Showcase is called Showcase of Immortals. Ya'll set yourselves up for disappointment.

I felt bad about feeling disappointed for this initially, but you're right. In my opinion if you're gonna go for 40 years of WrestleMania, you should either go all in with it, or not do it at all. I dunno if 2k14 being on a more primitive system meant that it was easier to develop that mode faster, but I think this showcase is gonna go down as a disappointment, which it is for no good reason.

This showcase didnt even break Undertakers undefeated wrestlemania streak. Plus they should jave had The Rock vs Austin at WM 19 so we can get Hollywood Rocks theme and music

It is the worst freaking game mode I have ever witnessed!!! 3 Matches of that crap would have been too much. I am only in 2001 and I don`t want to play it anymore. It simply does not work!

They have some mid womens matches, some mid current matches, missing some of the most important Wrestlemania matches, some pretty average modern matches, and then all the Brock matches and references to Vince were clearly removed last second 😂

Not only that, but the game has horrible input lag and all sorts of grapple bugs. The AI is OP with broken submissions and all sorts of other annoying things. The A.Is irreversible moves,the game cutting cooling down your reversals at certain parts to give the AI or other opponent an advantage for bs "Momentum Shifts" by handicapping you in parts of the match.

I’m so confused about the angle vs HBK . I might be smoking to much of the green stuff but that match is deff in the showcase lol it literally after Angel and Eddie at 20 . Couple other matches should of made it : Cody vs Seth Shawn vs Bret Macho man vs Flair Sash vs Flair vs Becky

I never could get through the 2K23 showcase. It was so bad. Literally ruined the game for me. And I see promising things for 2K24 but this generic way of doing showcase is just not it. I hoped it wouldn’t be the same generic music with no commentary or in game cutscenes. But it seems that’s how it is now. 2K15 deserved better
