Con: Wages suck. Always have. Been here almost 50 years so I know. Lots of people can work remotely now but if you think you're coming here and "getting a job," you will be disappointed Con: The open space is almost gone. The Prairie will disappear soon in a sea of suburbs Con: You need 400k MIN to buy a house now Con: Roads are plugged. The houses go up faster than the roads Con: Too many realtors trying to make a fortune and selling out their fellow Idahoans Con: The City and County have never said "no" to a development Pro: You're close to Spokane for shopping We all can't live in Idaho, folks.

What school did you attend? I’m seeing great reviews about Cornerstone Christian. My daughters are 5 and 7 yrs, and we are looking to relocate. I’m familiar with Sandpoint, Clark fork and Bonners ferry. I’d like to live in an area that is more suitable to raise a family (rather than be around so many tourists/retirees).

@Terice Brooks I was homeschooled up until high school then I went to CHS in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls High. After that I went to North Idaho College. Honestly tourists are mostly in downtown Coeur d’Alene. There’s a ton of options all around the area that you’re more than likely not going to be around very many.

Post Falls will be wall to wall houses. Green space is being annexed left and right and the prairie is going fast. If you want little to no infrastructure and wall to wall houses, then Post Falls will be your place within 10 years. Trying to find parking to get to the river is difficult, adding everyone coming across the border. I hate to say it, but Post Falls has gone down hill fast.

Great point, especially being city engineers are not properly planning as seen in North Dakota with the Oil Boom hitting.

What are the tax rates for the income tax and sales tax? What are the taxes like for a vehicle? I'm looking at possibly retiring here. It would be really useful to see a video on comparing ID vs WA (or even MT) in terms of retiring - just a suggestion. Thanks for the video!
