Very interesting to see I play soccer at my college! but I am from Chile. Here it's totally different and not that serious. would be very interesting play soccer there A hug from Chile elyse🤍

Few things I notice in USA are big size rosters like 30 to 40 players on a D1 college team I watch games and the count of players on the bench is sometimes double that of players on the pitch. I see that Freshman and Sophomores do not even play and even when they are great players and from other countries that become players at these D1 colleges they only train! As a result many players that wind up going to D1 are burning out and quitting soccer by their Sophomore year or transferring to another college with less stacked rosters or even dropping down to a D2 college. That said, I think if you are an amazing player and you are trying to go pro you might as well try playing abroad and going to college abroad to play at a much better level where it's not all sloppy and overly aggressive play and where there's a soccer culture not just an NFL football culture where soccer is somewhere on the back burner... There's little or no value for technical players at the college level and ECNL level it's just about money, rankings, politics, and wins. Sure to each his own but I just cannot see wasting talent and technique that took years and years of hard practice to be benched and still need to suffer with all the cons.
