7:48 wheels move faster on roads and slower on plains and tracks move the same for both plains and roads (Simpler terms- tracks for plain tiles. Wheels for roads) They both still move the same in Forests and I'm not sure about the exact differences in movement but that's the basics
@@that1_guy1307 yeah but at the same time it would be annoying to have to spawn 2 supply carriers (if you don’t have sapper) to repair each other if they get mobility killed
Wheeled apc has much better road mobility, making it good for maps with lots of roads. Regular apc has tracks, meaning it has a stable mobility on all kinds of terrain.
@@xanderwatson5205 like the name suggest " halftracks " part of the veichle are half with tracks and half with wheeled normal tire. ( Theres a lore of it ) they are better when moving on roads, but because they are made of tracks they didnt do any significant going off the road In comparison halftracks has 4 tile long distance travel on roads but beside that they will only able to go 3 tiles off the terrarian. Meanwhile like transport truck they will able to go 5 tile distance on roads but will peform poorly off roads with only able to go 2 tiles long.
Fun fact aa gun can move AND shoot in the same turn(also u can put it in a supply carrier as its self defense mechanism cuz it can get out of the supply carrier and shoot immediatly)
Thanks, man but I still have nightmares when I remember my battle tank getting encircled and losing its escort and supply carrier. Does still hunt me today
Don't underestimate the Multi HTank, it has a heavy cannon and a light cannon + MG, making it very useful against vehicles, including light, medium and heavy armored ones. Of course, it's mobility is the biggest downside but combining it with a supply carrier can make it a hard challenge even for a battle tank.
Also for people who don't know the difference between Halftracks and Tracks, Halftracks lose 1 mobility when not on roads and Tracks keep the same mobility on all terrain (except forest)
wheels move 5 tiles on roads and 2 tiles on any other terrain(except mountains and forests). Tracks move 2-4 tiles on any terrain(except mountains and forests).
me omw with my blietzkrig tactic (yes, majority armor. with infantry being carried by IFV's. which is why I ALWAYS get the units with wheels. and I also have absolutely no artillery units since my push goes so god damn fast Arty can't catch up)
If you ask why wheel apc is cheaper while having more mobility. Id say apc go 4 tiles on plains and roads. But wheel apc go 2 tiles on plain and faster on road which all wheel vehicles does. So wheel apc is meant to be on road and apc is for off road map
"oh no not expendable recon tank 7!" "anyway meet recon tanks 12-13" that is how you play recon tank (spam and use them as literal fodder. mix with infantry that are high survivability or suuper high dmg. just hit hard, move fast, capture an outpost closer to the enemy and then jumpscare them with a battle tank or M h.
1:03 isn't the HE shell useful against infantry? Sure don't get wrong you shouldn't rely on it as an infantry killer but the HE shell can do solid damage to infantry not like it's defenceless
I'm not talking about the situation it's definitely not effective at killing infantry I'm just saying the HE cannon itself can do decent damage to infantry
@@AzukaSenseii I'm not tryna say whether you should use It or not what I'm saying is that the weapon it uses (the HE cannon) can do good damage to infantry I am NOT tryna a say it's a reliable infantry killer
