Ok I am a Land Cruiser guy. I have a 93 FZJ80 myself, but lets be fair. A true test would be to have the same driver attempt the hill in both vehicles because skill and experience has a lot more to do with good wheeling that the vehicle.
Sure ,who will even do a race while doing off Road, also in off-road there are times when we have to drive slowly and if we go very fast ,then it becomes a failure
It's heavy , but the weight distribution is well engineered , so even when you climb a sharp hill with the LC it still give you the traction needed to do the job .
@@anavan7 It’s the other way round, the FZJ80 has a 4” wheelbase difference and a weight of 500kg to the Landcruiser, fair fight...? Not on an incline, the RR should be better, light weight is an advantage and a shorter wheelbase has an advantage to, the tires were better mud terrain than on the LC... yet the LC was driven by a not so experienced terrain driver but it was still more than capable... The choice of vehicle preference is upto the driver, my money my vehicle would be with the LC, if one preferred the RR Products then it’s up to them.
Yeh and blow out a diff or gearbox before making it up lol ive seen what there like and been left on the side of the road more then a few times now if it doesn't have a Toyota badge on it forget it Ive seen the light years ago
@@carlmenzel8744 BAHAHAHAHAHAHA you must be confusing them up with Harley Davidson, But hey if you want to spend heaps more for a name be my guest champ. Enjoy your day if you have any money left over for fuel you may even get out n about :)
put your stuffing LC in a cross country camel trophy and see what happens.........Camel trophy 20 years.......this is nothing ........what, tires moment up a hill.......WOW........try a entire continent/country.....L/R MOST AWARDED 4WD WORLD WIDE
MrMan butt hurt much? land rovers are on craigslist for 900 bucks better pick up a few cause you will need the parts. but at least get some fj80 axles to put under it.
Ya😡 and that is why when I drive a Land Rover across a country, then it will keep leaving some parts on the way and eventually die,but the land cruiser is 💪 strong,so it will keep going for years
