As a long-time Pixlriffs fan, this episode has basically everything I ever wanted -- Pix, Zed, and Pigs. I was grinning through the entire thing. Most wholesome chaos.

Oh! Welcome back to the world of Zedvancements! I'm reporter Ness, and I'm here to bring you the latest news from Zedaph. Let's see what he's been bacon up for our entertainment today! In a joyful return to the server, Zed begins by attempting to die by the cutest item-collecting fairies in Minecraft. It succeeds by way of some rather cheekily -named trousers, and Gem comes in clutch with the assist. Butt the main event is really our pink piggy friends, who are tethered to one another via a diverse cast of characters! Yes, the rift we've been studying on the side is a proper wormhole between two Minecraft worlds, and visitors from afar have come to the server just in time for a porcine party at the base. There's a diving stunt that hasn't been seen outside of a circus! There's an obstacle course! Will someone die? Maybe. Will there be pork chops on the menu later? Almost definitely. What a fun time this week with lots of friends...hope your holidays are just as nice. And, in the words of Porky Pig, which seem very appropriate, "That's all, Folks!"

Holy wow, I never really considered how similar Zedaph's and Pixlriff's voices are until they made a video together. I had to try really hard to distinguish the two.

I have never wanted to ride in a pig chain in minecraft more in my life. Good thing i have friends who'd do it with me :D so much fun this episode!!!

I feel like this concept lends itself to a great mini game where 2 people riding horses are linked together with leads and have to maneuver through an obstacle course. Good stuff as always zed

Ahh, how I've missed seeing that bubblegummy cosy intro logo/jingle! Edit: I just wanna say how adorable and wonderful it is to see so many Hermits welcoming to Pix. It almost feels like a thank you/love letter for all the hard work he and his team does on the recap channel.

This was my hope when the Empire Hermit crossover started. I'm very glad Zed and Pix were able to get this achievement organized and completed. What a sight!

Somehow the Zedvancements just get better and better every time lol. You just staring into the camera at 20:25 as everyone chaotically tries to figure out the diving board in the background was too funny

once camels are available, you could do a silk road caravan achievement. players riding camels pulling lines of as many llamas as they can handle. full carpets decorating the llamas and their chests full of "silk" (i'll leave up to you what is the silk)

Another episode where I ask myself "why" and enjoyed every second out of it! Really loving the Zedvancements this season!

This is just my favorite zedvancement! Seeing so many people involved to achieve one goal always gets me sappy~ Also, the fact everyone wore their trophies to look like they're holding it! I can't wait for all the fanart!!!

You have more diamonds at Cleo's dye shop from the green dye you gave her. She has a shulker box on the side for your half of the sales.

Hey Zed left this comment on Pix's vid. If you want to revisit this concept you could have the leader on a Strider that way you can use the mushroom on a stick for the leader without having the piggy train rush the carrot on a stick.

This is the best possible thing anyone could do with the time that the Empires folks are visiting. Pack it up, everyone else. Zed has topped it all. Also side note, those allays totally would have followed you on their own without escaping if you gave them items to hold that are from you. They're pretty good at keeping up.

I think this is the most people I've ever seen in a Zed video (other than the start of seasons) haha It was so fun to watch!!

I remember doing something like this with my friends years ago! we all got on horses and lead each other around in a line for a good few hundred blocks, definitely one of my fondest memories of playing Minecraft :) there were about 5 of us just giggling to ourselves in the dead of night, trying to make sure none of our horses died

I don't think I'll ever grow tired of watching your videos, Zedaph. You never cease to bring the most high quality, hilariously creative content I've ever seen from the Hermitcraft server! And that's saying a lot, my friend, considering this server has the likes of Grian, Mumbo, Iskall, Docm77, Bdubs, and Keralis! I don't know how you manage to do it, but colour me impressed!

5:32 - Ah my favorite type of bug. The race condition! Notoriously hard to fix without a full rewrite of the offending bits of code, and even if you do fix it, then you have 80 other bugs to fix by the end of it. To explain what happened: 1) Gem has the pants in her main hand, and a totem of undying in her offhand. 2) Gem threw the pants. This led to an Item entity on the ground, and a totem in her offhand. 3) Gem right clicked _just_ as she picked up the pants. Like, tick-perfect. This resulted, on her client, an Allay holding leather pants, and a totem in her offhand. 3.5) The server processed those two events in the other order, resulting in an Allay holding a totem of undying, and Gem holding the leather pants. 4) The server sent all three of these updates to Zed _without sending the inventory and Allay held item change to Gem_ - since Gem is the one who initiated the right-click event in the first place. 5) This causes a visual desync on Gem's side compared to the Server, where she is holding a Totem, and the Allay is holding pants. All this would have taken is a relog to fix, as the server would send the proper state to her client. Alternatively, as we see, resetting the state... after a little bit of funkiness.

you could do a zedvancement similar but with llamas, and since they have the caravan mechanic, you can make each player have 15 llamas folowing them by only leading one llama and having another player sitting on the last llama with another llama caravan on a lead, it would make a really big llama train and i think it would probably be big enough to circulate the entire base of the mountain you use as home

While swimming on soul sand using depth strider 3/soul speed 3 boots and having the speed 2 and dolphin's grace effect, You can travel 147 blocks a second! I wonder if you could turn this into a zedvancement? "Zed-icrous Speed"

Excellent episode as usual, so much fun. As much as I’ve loved create, didn’t realise how much I missed hermitcraft!

Due to llama trains and how their AI works, you could have a person for every set of llamas and they follow much better. That's 10 llamas per hermit that follow exactly like the one infront of it. Leading Llama would be a fun expriment if you want to test this out.

I feel like the natural next step onward on the creature train idea is an infinite lama caravan - leading one lama will cause a number of others to automatically follow along, so if there's a person sitting on the last voluntarily following lama with a lead, another whole caravan can join the train! and so on and so on. Of course longest lama train is very similar to the pulled pork, but! I wonder how much stuff could be transported via lamas from one place to another with one trip like that :'D
