Every Punisher has gotten a part of his character down to a nill and thus defines who and what they are. Here, Dolph shows Frank's psychosis and mental trauma. Jane his guilt and remorse. Stevenson his brutality. Bernthal his rage and mercilessness.
Excellent analogy. Little detail I noticed between this and Bernthal is the slight circles under the eyes, Bernthal had that in Daredevil that were bruises.
He is the best Punisher so far and the movie itself is very good. (I mean all other Punisher live action i have seen have blue jeans and skull shirt on, whats that about?) so he did something right there. Even if i dont buy his American accent, his presence is however powerful
@@Sparrows1121 Yeah... so good, is hammered down by critics, regular viewers and fans alike. Dolph can act, but this movie ia pure trash and an insult to anything The Punisher ever meant.
Also maybe give have Frank completely become the punisher as he dons an armored swat type gear and have the white skull spray painted on the chest. Also give him a white head band for the climax as well.
@@phadley78tube Nice to know you think watching action flicks, drinking whiskey, smoking cigars, & shooting pool makes you a man. What a fucking joke, smh.
@@sphinxrising1129 Yeah, real men do that. Now go back to your she shed, you can watch your recordings of Ellen and Oprah to soothe your hurt feelings.
@@sphinxrising1129 yo sjw shut the fuck up or better yet man up cause people like you ruin movie and shows with your cry baby reactions to movies like these. Smh
Frank Castle did the right thing by giving Tommy the chance to kill him because he did kill a kid's father despite the fact it was in self defence and not revenge. I think Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill should have done the same when she killed a little girl's mother.
Frank did that because he put the kid through what he went through. That being said he would have killed Franco anyway. Franco's a mobster. The Punisher kills Mobsters.
the only 3 things wrong with this movie that kept people from liking it. 1. PG violence 2. the background music that was played with a harpsichord 3. He never wore the Skull emblem. it had so much potential and Dolph did a fantastic job playing him.
Never understood why the skull emblem wasnt there. Also the dumb thing they did was change his origin story and made Castle a little too quiet. Castle is very talkative to a degree
Jeoren Krabbe a good villain and was a villain in the James Bond film The Living Daylights and as the sadistic and scheming Doctor Nichols in The Fugitive in 93 who goes against Harrison Ford
If we had a force that was limited to say twenty people for one city and five for one one town acting as Punishers imagine the crime rate. Once you been to jail it's not scary anymore. But you don't come back from death. So imagine the hesitation for those who commit serious crimes?
This one and iron eagle and others...originals the best. Dumb and Dumber was a ruff situation, I don't think the actors even wanted to do it, T2... Thats different 😁😁 Sicario and soundtrack and sequel☺
I dont mind skull shirt much, but blue jeans is the worst idea for Punisher? Like it doesnt fit him at all. I like the old suit from comics better or Dolph version since its fitting
