yeah is obvious he didn't get along well with people so he went to his puppets but they turned out so twisted, you cannot help just feel bad that his passion turned against him

@@mandyr0912 this and the fact your are never supposed so do spells or rituals without protection and your never supposed to have bad intentions with it even if it supposed to be a bad spell.

It's actually so sad thinking about this because it's so common for companies to do things like change people's ideas. Owen worked long and hard on his idea and everyone tried to change it. Imagine writing a story and your boss/higher ups decide to change parts of it when they have no clue how to write.

That’s what I am thinking but the others was brought to life by Mortimer so maybe the reason the others have posted mortimers hatred for being left behind and has possessed it themselves I also think his heightens state didn’t help do ya get what I mean ?

As soon as I heard Harper I yelled "that's scout" and everyone in my classroom looked and me and someone said "is scout your ex or some shit"

That honestly makes her supposed death at the end of the first game even more heartbreaking. Scout likely had no memories about her life as Harper, but she still felt like she didn’t belong in that puppet body after learning about human culture from watching TV (something she shared with Harper, who was also a media enthusiast). I just hope she’s able to rest in peace now. Edit: Also I just realized something: a woman named Harper being connected to a fictional child named Scout. Was that intended to be a To Kill a Mockingbird reference?

I like to think myself that those who play horror games do it either to conquer their fears or out of interesting boredom. Mike would be the latter, as he doesn't show any repeated signs of being scared by the games he plays. Think of it like being afraid of the dark. Being full of nasty creatures that you can't even see, but eventually, expose yourself to it long enough and even the monsters hidden doesn't seem so scary anymore. Nonetheless, Mike is an extremely-mentally-enforced individual.

My first thought on watching this was if ''new girl'' was Scout! It really sounds like her, to me. Even the way he use inflections in her voice when she says ''no no no''

You know what, maybe just don't try to bring puppets or humanoid inanimate objects alive at all! I mean, the Chucky movies should've already taught us that living dolls are nothing but trouble... And whenever some character tries bringing something like that to life, it somehow always ends up being some kind of Faustian bargain that goes horribly wrong.

I've never seen the Chucky movies, and I don't plan to, but you're probably right.

what if the cancellation would result in Owen losing the legal rights to his puppets? as an artist myself, I will never sell the legal rights to any of my creations, since as an obscure Disney film once said: "they're family. you don't sell family."

@@LordZadrenoss i see your point and raise you with this. Not sure what would happen then but even still I would have at least taken to some for of consideration with the new technologies that had come out at the time, yes those voices on olive, Tommy and the other was horrible but there should have been other ways to improve the show let it stay pg for the kids while giving important development strategies to the parents. I still feel that the 'rain forest ' title is a bit too rough and no geared towards children nor their parents( secondary stakeholders) If only owen reviewed what was wrong qnd turned over a new leaf... he might have survived in the changing industry. Though the Muppets and Sesame street are still popular and running shows/movies he (in game) could have looked for another market towards his puppets. Perhaps a puppet show geared towards adults that gives some education purpose while creating a new cult classic. Also maybe using a book that unknowingly releases a demon that mirrors your soul to you creations might be a bit extreme
