Occam's razor I suppose, but I'd hoped it was something like she managed to give the hosts soul entirely to the dog turning the dog into the "host" or some convoluted thing.

She’s not. One of the people who worked on the game responded to an inaccurate rumor in the last video. Daisy was removed from the game, along with Nick, due to time and money.

how did Scout die to a missing arm in less than 15 minutes an average person can servive an missing arm for hours plus the Puppets appear to be able to servive getting chopped apart

Rose Wild Scout is small and almost like a child. Puppet or not, taking out Scout’s arm can lead her to die pretty quickly, if not from blood loss, then shock.

Mortimer never mentioned in game(she's not given a name in game actually, Riley just calls her Sock Puppet during the tea scene), but one of the people who worked on the game commented on Mike's original video saying the sock puppet is named Kathy and is not Daisy. And that Daisy Danger and Nick Nack were removed entirely(Daisy) and relegated to just a small shadow cameo(Nick) due to time and budget constraints.

Well I'm not sure as to why Kathy is there for in game reasoning, so it may be a sock puppet sentience test on Riley's part? But yeah. Lol

You get to customize your own puppet for others to use, and there's a queue for other players to play. 5 lucky ones get to play as the main puppets, and they're trying to kill you. On point 3 did you note that Scout lost the same arm that they are attached too on you. That arm is your link to them so maybe that's why it causes Scouts 'death'. No limb, no connection, no energy transfer. Maybe if she was put on your left hand they'd revive.

Mew Studios I highly advise you not to bring it to life with a voodoo spell.

Considering that Owen would have been a host as well. But he was turned into a real life puppet instead. Mortimer was on a different host before Anthony got to him. So I guess they can do switchies with hosts if they run outta life juice.

It didn't look like Nick had a host in that quick glance we got of him...
