Goddamn! That no survivors sequence with the piano backing was depressing as hell. Imagine those cops at the end showing up to this absolute carnage, bodies strewn across the camp grounds, torn to pieces, spent shotgun shells everywhere. How would you even begin to reconstruct what had happened?
@@starfire6789 The people who volunteered to be camp counselors at a reputable summer camp? Who also have few, if any, known criminal convictions or mental health issues? Raises more questions than anything. Why did they turn mad? Why kill one another? Why is one missing an arm in a junkyard crane? Another missing their throat in a storm shelter despite there being no storm that night? Who placed two dozen bear and rope traps about the forest and why? And why are there no survivors? It's one of the reasons I love werewolves. They change back when killed leaving little evidence that they existed at all. To any newcomers to the scene it leaves a huge mystery as to what actually happened.
Big start: emma's Phone. The evidences are there IF they search correctly they Will still not discover what in the fucking world happened here. Imagine trying to wake up knowing that Werewolves exist or ever existed
It sent my sides into orbit when you stab bobby with the knife and he just goes "Ow! That hurt! I've never been stabbed with a knife!" like it's just an inconvenience and then runs off to his parents.
@@smaragdchaos To be fair, I'm pretty sure getting stabbed there will weaken just about anyone. Pretty sure Bobby is just inhuman levels of beef that in the instant, especially with the knife still in there, it didn't do as much to him as it seemed.

Shotgun shells hitting Bobby apparently aren't strong enough to weaken Bobby, but a knife stab somehow is? That's a massive inconsistency in the story
@@smaragdchaos My guess is he has some type of mutation that helps him heal faster. With the stab being a more recent injury, I would guess probably 5 minutes or something, then it would still be affecting him.
@@TheOneWhoReportsForDuty That logic doesn't make any sense. Surviving a shotgun blast is very unlikely, close to impossible. Even under the nonsense idea that Bobby regenerates fast (which has never been stated anywhere), he is not immortal. Something so deadly as a shotgun blast will at the bare minimum put him out of commission completely for the night, or more likely kill him on the spot. If Bobby is somehow so durable that a shotgun blast barely hurts him and only makes him walk away, a dumb knife has no business being a threat to him.
Not to brag but I got the best ending first time by accident. And by best I mean you shoot Constance in the face and Nick dies because I don't like his accent
@@clevp001 no I killed him - basically Abi shoots nick, Emma gets away from Max and hides in the car, Jacob is set free when Laura kills the power (nick is dead), Ryan shoots Chris and is cured, Dylan tbh did lose a hand and could've avoided that, Kaitlyn gets the silver from abi and Emma (or she threw Caleb in the freezer). Laura and Travis don't die in the car accident on the way to Silas. Laura just hurts Jed and Bobby is able to fend off Chris' attack
The moment when I realised the only way Kaitlyn can apparently survive being the Final Girl is based on a choice Abi and Emma make in chapter one. Goddamn.
@@maddogmajimaswifey3868 Dylan doesn't have to lose his hand don't break in with abi and Emma that'll cause Kaityln and them later on to struggle opening that same day door allowing the wolf to chase them instead on biting Dyan and Dylan can continue to with both hands and keep him alive obviously

Honestly, I think that Caleb death is the worst one in the entire game. I mean think about it… He’d wake up and immediately find that he’d killed someone, then probably realize that’s it’s still dark out and he’s human so the curse is broken, but then he just has to sit there and slowly die while wondering where his family is and what happened. Horror with just a flicker of hope that makes the ultimate end even worse…
God I love Bobby’s character, he’s obviously being used by his family but he’s still pretty nice, he saves his parents if he doesn’t get stabbed and he doesn’t technically kill anybody

@@wizkid3643 i mean to get the achievement of final girl, you can only get that achievement when kaitlyn is the final girl. You cant get the achievement if its abi or emma
I cannot help but feel bad for Max. During the prologue he gets infected, something that is unavoidable on the player's part. He then spends 2 months in a cell where he barely knows anything about what's happening to him, only for when he finally gets out of said cell, he then has to be left on an island alone for his girlfriend and everyone else's safety (again, due to something unavoidable). Then while he is a werewolf he can infect or kill Emma (to be fair, I doubt anyone is complaining except Jacob) and later infects Laura, his aforementioned girlfriend, and is still left on the island. Then the moment he gets cured and decided swims to the island, this is now the players the first major choice with him being playable, he is instantly killed by Caleb, no QTE, do not pass go, do not retain neck. This man just has the worst 3 months all because he and Laura decided to go to the camp one day early. That sucks.

Jacob falling face down into the beartrap got me laughing real hard. Oh boy! I'm not gonna lie, my first playthrough was a massacre. Everyone got killed except for Abi and Dylan. And that wasn't even intentional, I just played and followed my guts with the decisions. Jacob got killed somewhere in the woods by Silas or Chris, if I'm not mistaken, after failing a "don't breathe" segment. And Kaitlyn at the very end when I failed to shoot Caleb. Everyone was fkn dead. It was glorious.
I ended up with only Ryan, Nick, Laura, and Max (and Travis and Caleb for the Hackett family) at the end of my first playthrough. I got Emma killed in the treehouse, Abi in the boathouse, Jacob in the cages, and Kaitlyn and Dylan in the lodge’s kitchen.
Bobby is the chillest hunter I have seen in my life, like he just casually tells Ryan that he doesn’t know if he should kill him or not like it’s nothing.
Very interesting! I thought there was no way to kill everyone with the Kaitlyn - Caleb sequence, never would have thought of both getting trapped in the freezer.
I could even dig in the "It's his werewolf form, not his fault" thing IF it was any other werewolf. Caleb just do TOO much shit, and I don't really care about his condition. Even Chris had the whole lock himself thing, but Caleb just went rampage. The only reason I saved him at Kaitlyn's life was because I liked Travis so much that I pitied him when he said "Help me to save what's left of my family" (since I got the Hackets dead due to stabbing Bobby, so the least I could do was to keep his nephew alive.

The wolf killing Kaitlin was done with the games. It grabbed her by the head, pulled her in waiting to kill her until she was cornered. Damn that was a cold kill but very stylish for the wolf.
@@billybob4455 I think it just makes the 9 main counsellors die. So it leaves Silas alive and keeps the curse. In this ‘No souls alive’ ending, literally every single character dies, including all the Hacketts and Silas
I would say this is probably the most realistic ending. I mean I guess u could argue that Laura not succeeding in killing Silas can be the most realistic ending and the monsters surviving aswell. But I don't know I'm a sucker for dark realistic endings lol
I prefer games where you can only save a certain amount of (playable) characters. Meaning you can't save everyone and you don't feel too bad about someone dying and there can be a lot of possibilities and endings. So atleast there's some kind of "realism" in there.
It's so creepy that the werewolves don't even eat their victims. They just rip their throats out and leave the bodies behind. And it's not like they're not hungry; Nick said he could "eat a horse" while transforming, and Mr. Hackett ate a whole sheep. But apparently they specifically don't eat humans, they just want to kill them and leave.

it’s not even the main part of the video but the entire scene with abi and nick where they talk for a while is absolutely incredible, i had no clue that would even happen if you don’t do the obvious thing most people did when playing the game 👏👏👏
Great work! Thanks for putting this much effort into this. I played through the game once, just going with what I felt was right. I have no motivation to do it all again to test out every iteration of possibilities, so people like you are a really boosting my enjoyment of the content.
If you go into the trapdoor (behind Chris' desk) as Dylan in the beginning (when him and Ryan are charging the phones), it loosens the step on the ladder. Then, if you keep Abigail alive until Dylan and Kaitlyn go to the scrapyard, (instead of letting Nick decapitate her) Abi will be in the cellar, you can get the Hierophant tarot card (by the stairs) and kill Eliza too (by missing the QTE with the stick). Then, due to the loose step on the ladder, Abigail will climb it, if you fail the QTE, she'll die. Then, do everything else Em Dee says and you'll truly have No Soul Left Alive. :)
Imagine if this guy literally tried to keep everyone alive but this happened. I’m sorry but we can’t hide you as a camp counselor here. Why not? You unintentionally got the no soul left alive ending in the quarry.
Saddly this one feels like the real ending, cause is impossible to save them all: Chris, Kaylee and Silas are dead in the best possible ending so this one feels somehow fair and complete. Kinda dark though
The funniest thing about it all is that you shoot Chris in werewolf form and decapitate him. Then in the epilogue, his deceased human form still has his head on 😂
what if dylan was infected in the car scene where werewolf came to him, would it smell him like it did to kaitlyn and then go away because he was recognized as a werewolf?
There's an option to replace the licensed music (at least the ones that are likely to get copyrght strikes on YT and Twitch) with original music. I don't know why the replacement music doesn't match the tone of the licensed music for the credits though.
you don’t have actually have to do “sympathetic” to get the bite offering. my first play through i said “mocking” assuming that she would be trying to lighten the mood and felt terrible that it made ryan feel worse. she still offered the bite even after that and i still got the trophy
can you see if there's an ending where Dylan is the lone survivor (maybe doing everything the same like you did here except having Dylan's hand remain so he turns at the scrapyard?)
I’ve played this ending before I think so let me try remember how you do it… If you fail a qte when Emma is at the cabin so she gets bitten, then make sure she survives on the zip line and hide in the car. When you play as Kaitlyn later she can bite Dylan before you shoot her with silver bullets. Then you can kill Kaitlyn when you play her later on but the werewolf won’t harm Dylan as he has been bitten. Another way is to break down the door to get bags so that Dylan’s hand can get bit then don’t remove it. He will then transform into a werewolf and be safe. Then you play the rest as stated. Hope this helps :)
