Probably the first ever Boeing 747 on a passenger flight in Alexandroupolis airport (AXD/LGAL) history.
Atlas Air Boeing 747-400 N464MC landed at Alexandroupolis on 31 July 2021.
The flight of Atlas Air operated on behalf of Airborne U.S. Transportation Command "Camber" (CMB), carryng U.S. Army personel from Sofia and Alexandroupolis to Killeen Fort Hood Regional Airport TX (GRK/KGRK)

Previous Boeing 747 visit at the airport noted on 15 July 2006, 15 years ago, but it was a training flight (non-commercial).
Few more visits by B747s noted before 2006, operated cargo flights.
Olympic Airways Boeing 747s flew at Alexandroupolis only for training. There is no confirmed passenger commercial flight at the airport after 2003.
