A real crowd pleasing game between two top players constanly on the attack against each other like that magnificent boxing contest many years ago between Hagler and Hearns

Nakamura's play has been delightfully scrappy throughout the tourney. His desire to win is greater than his fear of losing. I really like how he is willing to take some chances and mix things up, and how he is still confident whenever it looks like that he might be on the ropes.

I wish there is a video generating machine that makes chess videos where Daniel analyzes a chess game

A high risk, hi-Pow! endgame with 2 hi-pow players. Great kickoff! (Great commentary!)

A fine game,not sure who is most happy with that. I have always thought that Aronian versus Magnus would be a great match. Great analysis thanks Daniel and keep up the good work.
@peterhavord5984

I agree that Aronian at his best is a sublime strategist who can beat Carlsen. Aronian's win against Carlsen a few years ago where he imprisoned Carlsen's queen on one side of the board while launching a fatal attack against his king on the other side was an absolute strategic masterpiece I'll never forget
@joseraulcapablanca8564

@@peterhavord5984 not his only good win against Carlsen, but indeed his most memorable, thinking that he might win the match is maybe a bit much.
@peterhavord5984
@peterhavord5984 2 года назад
@@joseraulcapablanca8564 Aronian in top form against a world-weary Carlsen would be close. Remember, Frazier was given little chance to beat Ali before their first fight.
@joseraulcapablanca8564
@joseraulcapablanca8564 2 года назад
@@peterhavord5984 it might be close but Carlsen would most likely win. His level of desire would put at least a temporary end to any weariness. He is better than everyone else at the moment, who knows how long before someone from the next generation surpasses him.

I find it so interesting that no one plays the Marshall with white anymore. Well, the Nh2 idea wasn't it either. Stubborn defense by Nakamura and fantastic commentary by Daniel!

Well fought game. Hoping Ding Liren can solve his travel issues and eventually qualifies for the candidates. Would love to him vs Carlsen
@maxwahlund3235

A bit late for that. He can only play one of the remaining GP tourneys and that will not qualify him even if he wins it. But next cycle perhaps, he would be a very strong challenger.

So at the end of the game, what’s your assessment of the white queens? They aren’t split, but they are in Siberia, far away from the white king.

@@HunterBelkiran Sure they are and I would wish it our to both of them. But I think their chances would be very low against Magnus, considering that he would opt to play a match against them. They are the same category as Nepo and we saw the outcome.

can we perhaps stop saying "google it" and rather say "search the internet"? it's a very myopic, western way of viewing the world to make verbs out of American corporations.
