No one's invincible. Also after reviewing a couple different pronunciations, I may have pronounced Tadese's name wrong. Apologies for that. Support the channel! / runnerboi Insta: / runnerboi_yt Twitter: / runnerboiyt
Zersenay was always in Bekele's shadow, especially on the track where he basically acted as a pacer for Bekele to kick off of because of his slow finish. He must have been really satisfied to pick up his win here in the hot conditions and because of bekele's miscalculation.
i fucking LOVE watching Tadesse Race, imo hes a refined racing style to that of Prefontaine. (this may or may not be wrong, but this is what I've always thought)
Two things: 1. 4:03 thats pretty funny 2. I think your conclusion that it was Tadese's tacticality that led to his victory truly did him some service. To the naked eye, he may have just made his move at the right time but it's only when you truly analyze his race that shows his near race perfection.
I don't think it was a miscalculation on Bekele's part as much as it was him not being used to that weather conditions.it was the sudden change in climatic conditions that did him, there's no way he couldn't have handled that pace and surges he injected around the penultimate lap in a lesser humid condition.
