I relate to the first caller so much. I also have bipolar. As cliche as it sounds, having a budget is the best way to manage bipolar. Every time I get paid, I go down the list in my budget and pay everything first, before I hey the chance to spend anything frivolously. For me, the worst thing about being bipolar is feeling like I don’t have control over my own body. Doing things like creating a budget give me some power back.

I had 50 great rides and on the night of my 51st there was an incident that inspired me to buy a dash cam… I’d do it again, but next time avoid the visibly intoxicated. ❤

The RV guy is all over the place. He has a 2 year plan, 10 year plan, and a 6 month plan. He says he has been following the Baby Steps for 5 years. But he is funding his retirement plan with a car loan of 19,500 making "double payments". I'm confused.

@@cristianca889that isn’t the question because you don’t make 525000. But you do make money equivalent to your housing. Just because you make half a million a year that doesn’t mean you are good with money. Lifestyle creep is a real thing. It’s why college kids make it work on nothing then make real money and they think they can’t live on what they use to make.

That one guy in Vancouver is saying everything he can to keep that expensive car and million dollar home. I’m sure they’re amazing but he needs to downgrade. Nothing wrong with kids sharing room if they have kids. If not, what does a couple need a 4+ bedroom home anyway, just a waste of space, only really being used to flex how big their house is which is not worth it.

For the past 30 years, I have managed my own portfolio. I currently own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A), which I purchased for approximately $17,000 in the mid-1990s. I am currently selling some of these holdings to make room for new investments. In 2021, I cautiously invested in emerging markets, Silver & Gold, NVDA, AMD, ASML, PLTR, and TSM under my fa, Milred Geneva Hyder.

I went to a restaurant in Palm Springs, California. I had just won the night before at a casino and took my whole family out for dinner. My family and I go every year in July. I gave a tip for a check for 15 people and the check was $500.00 and I gave him a $75,00 tip and he had the audacity to ask if I wanted to put more on the credit card and I said no give me back $25.00 so I left him $50.00. I thought that was F***ing Rude.

Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part, One lesson I've learnt from billionaires is to always put your money to work, and diversifying your investments. I'm planning to invest about $200k of my savings in stocks this year, and I hope I make profits.

You are right. The best approach I feel is to diversify investments- by spreading investments across different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.

1:31:50 It appears that the problem in Canadia is the same problem as Downunder Aussieland. Greatly fluctuating variable interest rates with terrible short term fixed interest rates, that that people get stuck in when the rates come back up and the property value tank.... Controlled by inept politicians trying to please the masses and business in the short term without seeing the long term impacts.

The analogy was about how the 5’1 person would use the stool to HELP them get the dish, she is using her mom to HELP her learn boundaries so that she can learn self discipline and learn to trust her self again! It may be strange to you but it helps John tie it back like at 8:14 and that’s all that matters plus he and George still gave great advice.

There is a reason there is no concept of retirement in the Bible. We weren't put on this earth to try just to travel and visit disneyland whenever we want. Even if we can afford it, we will very quickly lose all meaning. The retirement for us is heaven. But the amazing thing is when u give up your life to be a servant to God and people, He rewards you with a fulfilling life that you could not imagine.

Look into state sponsored paid caregiver programs, especially if one of the ill parents is a veteran. She could stay home as a caregiver and still be available for the others who may not qualify.

You do realise this is a radio show first and foremost and the radio industry forces them to take commercial breaks at times set to the second. What does being a millennial have to do with it? Dave has been doing the same thing since George was 3 years old. So explain to me how it has anything to do with being a millennial. If you can. Yet another idiot that blames George when they should blame the radio industry for going to a commercial break at a set time, timed down to the second. THEY are the ones who need to learn to be flexible. George must operate within THEIR parameters. This is a radio show first and foremost. And the music had started.
