Finally Doctor Who just mentioned “The Rani” again. In Doctor Who “Space Babies”, the 15th Doctor mentions to Ruby about “The Rani”, but who is this character? Well, the Rani is actually a renegade Time Lade, who has appeared in Doctor Who before. She was ultimately a brilliant scientific genius, who villainy only came from the mindset of her research coming first.

If the master could survive the time war then why not her?

Given her Contempt for other time lords, why would she even fight in the time war. The Master did it for a new set of regenerations.

I think Mrs Flood will be set up to be revealed as the Rani in season two or a cliffhanger.

it was actually his golden tooth, and the fact that The Rani and The Master teamed up before then it's plausible

Honestly, I think The Rani NEEDS to come back. Reason? Much like why Mel was brought back…because Classic Who failed her character severely. Having The Rani back would give NewNuWho the chance to actually make her character interesting and stand out as a serious threat in the way Classic could not…
