The coolest thing I have in my Disney collection is an original ticket for Walt's Carolwood Pacific that a friend of mine gave me.He also gave me pieces of HM wallpaper as well. Your opening day Epcot ticket is really cool and I love your HM plaque as well.
As usual I really enjoyed the jokes. The opening ad read was great, the cuts to old-timey Mickey, the disjointed ending... all very funny. Even when it's a subject that doesn't interest me, like collectibles, your great humor makes all your videos a must watch.
I wish Funko actually posed their figures more and moved away from the dead eyed, no emotion looks. They’re cool as figures out of box when they’re not the basic ones. I mostly hate Funkos cuz as cool as it is they have such obscure ones , they in the end all look the same and the boxes are ugly
@@poeschmoe6499 Same, I only own a very select few, and those very select few are either ones I thought actually looked good in the style, or were literally the only merch that existed of an obscure favorite character of mine.
I have quite a Disneyland collection, like actual bowls from "America Sings", Abraham Lincoln head that was used to create the 2009 version, Abraham Lincoln, of "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, a Small World head, Pluto's actual dog tag and much more. If you are interested, Dallin, I do have a few Disneyland collectible videos if you care to see my collection. I will say you do a great job with you videos!
My collection is pretty basic (some Disney World hotel shampoo and conditioner bottles, pressed pennies, etc) but the one cool thing I have is a feather that fell off an animatronic parrot from the Enchanted Tiki room during its Under New Management time. As I got older I thought (and my malleable memory was happy to insist I remember it as such) it came off Iago himself, but upon closer inspection I don’t think he HAD feathers. It’s still one of my favorites though.
My favorite Disney collectible I own is my Autopia Driver’s License from my very first trip to Disneyland because even though it’s just a piece of paper, it’s a fun little extra you got for free. 🚗
I have a cast member made pin I earned for getting the max score on the Space Ranger Spin. Definitely my favorite Disney collectible. I also have a yellow safety pull tab from the Tower of Terror that I found on the floor after exiting the ride. Always cracked me up to think that one of the seats didn't have one for that ride in particular.
I have an opening day pin for Avengers Campus 2020. Since Disneyland couldn't open Avengers Campus until June 2021. These pins that were already made for the park and were only sold at Company D (employee discount store). My wife got me this pin when she went shopping with her Disney employee friend.
It may not be rare, but I have a puzzle box from the Haunted Mansion opening that my Grandpa got during the first few months of the ride being around! The box itself is the puzzle, as you need to move certain parts of the box to open it!
I have a bunch of stuff from opening day California adventures/Bugs land. I have stuff from the 50th at Disneyland. I went to Miley Cyrus’ sweet 16 and have stuff from that, my mom collected beanie babies from Disney in the 80s-90s... I have stuff from closing day at country bear jamboree. I enjoyed watching what you have because it’s so different than what I have! Cool.
Not technically a physical thing but my dad has so many stories from when wdw first opened and his childhood trips. Favorite one being when the seatbelt failed on space mountain for him, and he had to hold himself in the cart. To this day he won't ride
I have two of the EPCOT Centre opening day tickets. Mine also have the stub removed. Friends of mine attended opening day and gave me them years later when they learned I was a huge Disney fan. One of my cooler collectibles! I also have my original Mickey Ears from 1972 when I visited The Magic Kingdom as a child. Ah, memories!
Your vids are dope. Can’t wait until all this craziness is done with so I can travel from Perth, Australia to Disneyland and experience some offhand Disney first hand! First stop. Haunted Mansion. Peace!
I have a HM ghost in a jar as well - Amicus Arcane, the librarian. I also have a few commemorative plates from around the time that EPCOT opened. Fun video, but now I need to know the story of the Mickey hiding in the corner.
Watching this video is making me wish I had saved the park maps from when I went in the ‘80s & ‘90s. Of course, when we would come home from those trips, I used to mark off all the rides we went on & the places we ate. No real value to anyone except me.
the best and rarest things I have are one of the tiles to the entrance of disneyland with my family name on it. and second is a painting of all the marvel characters signed by Stan lee
I think 2020 items will be very interesting in the future. I have a bunch of Disneyland park maps I grabbed with al the covid information and stuff on them. I also dont collect pins, but I got the opening day Avengers Campus pin and then I bought one of the '2020' ones they gave out to cast member on eBay. I have some unopened face masks too.
Oh man, this reminds me that I probably have a couple of little Disney collectibles from the early 90s-- my dad and his fiancee (now my stepmother) took us on a trip to Disneyland when I was ~13-14, and I somehow preserved that stuff all these years!
Can't wait until the trams come back !! The wife and I are disabled and here in Calif . people have to walk from the parking structure , down the tram line to the main gate. We just can't do it .
Great video....one one box I have bins full in the attic..I have most of what you have I even have stuff from the 60s -now...I even have map from 1964 World Fair with small world. Ton of stuff from mcd crossover the stands from mcd that Heald the glasses. On my wall if lots of cells prints and ride poster most in tubes my prize item is only Walt Disney stock from 1970s framed..well stay safe..love ya pal...
I have the Haunted Mansion wallpaper in my collection (and yes I got it from Phil Sears, too). I also have a pair of black Club 33 mouse ears and Haunted Mansion Mouse Ears. I'll be getting my own EPCOT opening day ticket soon (also from Phil Sears). I don't mean to brag, but I have a Disneyana collection you might not believe!
Very jealous of the of your pops hahaha I do have a barbossa as a skeleton and the monkey jack. That I think you’d like. But yess they just well sit there.
Amazing collection dude!!! As a Haunted Mansion fan myself, I to have a few rare pieces. Including a Disneyland Haunted Mansion playset from who knows how long ago. A “I Survived the Haunted Mansion” certificate from the night I rode the Mansion all by myself ( yeah not a single other guest on the ride. Actually pretty creepy lol) and probably my rarest of the rare, an actual Haunted Mansion record from 1969. A small but epic collection 😁
none of what I have is rare, but i do take pride in my Tron Lightcycle Power Run pins from shanghai disney. never been there, but got it from a seller who buys stock from that park. I also still have my grad night ticket stub from 2018.
The coolest things in my Disney collection are some Disneyland 50th Anniversary Mouse Ears, a mug commemorating the 15th anniversary of DisneySEA, and (brace yourselves) a Disneyland opening day guidebook
First Dallin I wanna say thank you for bringing back Walt Disney's voice at the beginning please keep it there, these Films are meant to Honor Walt Disney's Legacy, Thanks for sharing the Collection How much do the Haunted Mansion Death Certificates cost? I wish they would lower prices there, this was Amazing and worth watching I look forward to your next Film God Bless 🙌
I made my wife a shadow box with opening day stuff. I got the opening day Epcot commemorative ticket, a cast member coin from the opening of MGM and a pin from opening of Animal Kingdom. Could get anything from opening day of Magic Kingdom so I settled for an old ticket book.
HAH! I beat you! I have a piece of Walt's Holmby Hills railway track. Two pieces were being sold by an organization that was directly linked to Diane Disney Miller and I know for a fact (having communicated with him) that the other piece was sold to Garner Holt.
Love getting to see your collection. My most interesting pieces are a replica haunted mansion sign smaller than yours, I have it on the wall next to an art piece of madam Leota I got from Disneyland California. Lol I’ve also got a talking pirate skull replica from pirates above my door.
I think all my disney related stuff is back at my mom's house! I have one of the gold 50th anniversary ears that they put out that year (pretty sure it was the last time I ever got to go to the magic kingdom :( hoping to fix that eventually, now that I live an hour out from anaheim) as well as the '2000' hat they put out with the designs of the disney characters and it's just loaded with disney pins (including my prized possession of my pins set, a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (my favorite ride) pin! probably my first ever ebay score)
Most of my junk is from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (I collect more props than Disney park junk, but I do have a fair amount of park junk too!)
funny enough, just yesterday i stumbled across an old ticket stub and parking ticket. dated december 29, 1983, the price of an adult admission on it was $17 (about $45 today), and parking was $1.
Speaking of old tickets I came across a park hopper pass for universal studios Orlando from 2005 last year and I took it to the park and they ended up using it so I got a free ticket out of it. But now thinking back on it I feel like I should have saved it 🤔
Since your RU-vid is set to kid friendly mode we are unable to get notifications of your videos. When we 'hit the bell button' it states "This action is turned off for content made for kids." Just an FYI ;) Awesome collection you've got there, Funko Pops have sort of taken over my house lol so I feel you on them taking up a lot of space.. My collection isn't quite as bad as the pictures you listed lol but there is definitely a large amount and I'm running low on room for them to look acceptable on display.
I might be wrong, but I believe it's your account that is set to RU-vid kids. I was able to hit the bell icon without it saying that. Like I said, I might be wrong; it might have been something that he changed between you watching and me watching.
@@trickytreyperfected1482 If Offhand Disney was set to kids, the "save" and bell icon buttons would be greyed out and non-clickable also comments would be disabled on all videos. So yes it is just their account settings set to Kids not Dallin's channel.
@@yaoixyuriluvver I looked it up and it’s on his end, he has a setting activated as content made for kids so only accounts 18 and below (or probably age unspecified) can ring the bell. I also found some information that it could be a glitch. But either way, it’s not on my end and I’m sure others are experiencing the same. @offhanddisney check your settings and see if that’s the case so we can all get notified 😊
had no idea these funkopops existed and went to look up the prices and the splash one is being resold at 250-300$... jesus christ. Sick collection though
