@Andrew Lee bro stfu, stop talking like you know the dude and his abilities. The comment just said he looks like he could. People like you on the internet are so damn annoying.
definitely changed the culture of basketball, what he unfortunately failed to do was really understand the strength of his brand the way that Jordan or Kobe did. The i3/the answer brand should be up there on par with the Jumpan and the Mamba.
This Interview old but Allen "The Answer" Iverson is One of Greats. Being from VA we know. He's a Transcendent and Iconic player without question. He impacted and Influence the game athletically, culturally and socially. VAs Finests, VA Stand up, Bad Newz anit Bad Newz for nothing.
Ai needs to talk more and school the next generation.. your story is powerful thus said the Lord. The high and lows and the way you change the game from the crossover to the cornrows.. you the goat of that era!!
I can't believe I was actually around the area when this dude was in highschool.. I even remember the incident that got him into a little trouble... wow I was around legends
As great as AI was/is. If the rumors are correct, that he didn't really work on his game. Can't imagine if he did, what he would've done. Still amazing what he did at 6ft, 160..playing in a slower pace league..Imagine if he was playing now with the free flowing movement of the guards.. legend for sure, bubba chuck! Big East was unreal during his time. I'm a UCONN fan, ray hit that shot in the garden..memories. that year big east has 3 1st team All Americans. AI, Ray and Kittles..
He loved the game and did everything his way. No athlete is obligated to work his ass off to become the goat, athletes play their sport becuase they love it they love to play for different reasons. Many lost talents are bashed upon but I admire them, they just played and loved it, nothing wrong with that.
@@bellzo5 I agree. Why I wrote didn't really. I'm thinking like a Kobe, ray allen work ethic. His jumper got better as he got older.. All ❤, pure talent
10:35 I never really thought about this until Allen said it himself...LeBron, as a 18 year old, was probably the most POPULAR basketball player on the planet at the time. Wow
I love Allen Iverson and I met him a few times at the Casino's in South Florida, but Dennis Rodman really is the Jesus on the Cross for this subject and the poor guy is still paying for it. Reebok got Bubba Chuck back and yes he was and is a trendsetter!!!!!
Man I love A.I. but the 1st time meeting A.I. was in 6th grade just moving to the US from Korea. I was in Hampton Coliseum Mall during the day with my lil bro and mom, saw A.I. and his friends, and I was star stuck yet I kept my cool. As soon as me and A.I. met the 1st thing he said was "Get this kid out my fu**ing face" ....bruh....what? I can see if i was wylin out, if i went out of my way or something but we were walking towards each other in a mall that wasnt crowded at all. I met my favorite NBA player at the time and #2 all time in my eyes and that's how my 1st interaction went. 2nd time was much much better but it was on a outside basketball court. I'm sure he didnt remember me cause this was about 4 years later, but all I can say was that was a fun day. It was all fun, laughs, and fun non sweaty competition. I felt like I experienced both sides of A.I. personally. Ps yes I had damn near every Iverson shoe even after the bad 1st impression. At the end of the day you're the man A.I.!! 2 Up, 2 Down!
Based on his highlights he looked like he didn’t have an arm that a future nfl caliber qb would have. I think maybe he could’ve played qb in college but I would say they would’ve changed his position in college, no hate he was great at football! He looked legit at safety
Iverson changed culture. Before him nobody was tatted up, wearing the jeans and tees and they made a big deal and a dress code. Now, tatts are normal, and people dress all kind of crazy and sometimes downright suspect lol
I Live in Hampton/Newport News VA. I went to Hampton High School and had the honor to play with him. He Is, As Down to Earth as Anyone will see in Life! His Family and Mines are Very close and Brother/ Fam, I Thank You Personally from the bottom of my Heart! You Have Single Handedly Put the "7" cities/VA/ "Bad Newz" aka Newport News VA on the Map For Life! It's An Honor, and I'm Personally Very Proud of You! From Newport News and Hampton VA to The Whole VA...Thank You! "K.J."😎😎😎🎊🎉🎊
My favorite athlete & Basketball player of All time. I remember meeting him as a Kid that was Best moment of My Life & still this DAY!!! I don’t care what no has to say about My Guy be at the end of the day My Guy is a HOF & you will Love to wish to have Him or Anybody close to him on Your Team
I love AI (No hate intended) but why not practice more to become even more dominant? If I had AI's game and athletic ability, I would practice as much as possible to make myself more dominant than I already am. Still, even though he is a little lazy he is one of my favorite players ever, nobody could score for a guy his size, and nobody would ever will.
