Thank you Myanmar for your continued love, trust and support. I am slowly finding my voice as a new RU-vidr and your positive feedbacks show me I am on the right path. I want to bring light, and joy and show the world how things are here. As I stay true and do not do sensationalism, I feel Myanmar brings me many blessings every day, Now I am cutting a video that I will upload in 2 or 3 weeks that makes me cry as I deeply feel the pain, history and struggles of you all. Thank you for being so incredibly beautiful people.
Thank you Miss Liza. Even if you are in a war zone, we (Myanmar) won't harm you, we will take care of you as warmly as we can. I feel that you became an essential part of our community. 😊
Fortunately I don't live in a war zone but that is good to know. I will continue to make quality content and earn respect. I do understand the economic impacts of the situation so I do what small good I can. Thank you for your support.
I still have a whole bank of content to cut and produce and all the time amazing things just keep popping up in Yangon for me to film and share. It's funny, as I write there is the sound of a the Muslim call to prayer at 5am on loud speaker and all the street dogs are suddenly briefly howling all at once. Myanmar sounds.
Another wonderful clip 😊 I am planning a trip back to yangon at the end of October and my insurance company could not stop trying to remind me that it's a black listed country in war....
You did right. Just smile and agree as they are the armchair experts. We will all keep you safe and let you know what areas to avoid should you want to venture away from Yangon. My friends just came back from Bagan and the beach resort areas and I'm planning to spend summer vacation in Shan State so you can get intel on the ground here no problems! If you check, many countries will have that listing particularly the English speaking bloc allied ones. The more safe a country the more they fear everything. You will find even in your own country people will tell you to be scared of x y z and don't go anywhere just stay at home and expire of boredom!. Most people live lives of quiet desperation a wise person I forget once said.
It is having an economic impact on the people so acts of charity are so important. i know you do that too. Bless you sister. For the thousands of foreigners including the white faced ones, we just continue to live and work here and do our jobs and support the local economy all whilst feeling blessed to be in such a special country and loving the beautiful gentle humble Burmese people. Their eyes have witnessed so much over the decades. But we just love living here so much and all is pretty much going on as normal. I want to retire here.
That's great!!! You would have seen the gifting video I made with my colleagues who are part of a Philippines church group here. 60 donation packs to Thanlyin!
