Exactly and, the souls in hell are there because they reject Gid, Gods love and refuse to acknowledge their sins. We are all sinners that fall short of the Glory of God and we all need repentance. Not just people who suffer from same sex attraction. Every one of us needs a Saviour. This should not be limited to some sins, or some sinners. God loves us all the way we are but too much for us to stay the way we are. God is a gentleman though and allows each of us to have free will and chose. Our choices are what we need to consider. Unfortunately, this is a false doctrine. There is no evidence of hell nor of heaven. There are natural errors in the Christian religion’s holy books that show its falsehood. Hell, originally a Zoroastrian and Greek construction, was adapted by the late 2nd temple Jews and early Christians, who used it to great effect. Yet there is no truth contained in these books.

Distressing NDEs are rarely studied but there has been some research into them and they fall into three categories with "The Void" being one of the types. A few of those who experienced NDEs of this type shared what they experienced and to this day they induce dread in me just thinking about them. One spoke of being alone in a vast emptiness, unaware of up or down, left or right, just an endless nothingness and the horrifying realisation that this is how it would be for eternity. Another spoke of zooming into the emptiness of space and meeting two circular entities who told her that her life was a lie. She tried to tell them no, it wasn't true and gave them details to prove it but they just said "no, we let you believe it was real, but none of it ever happened." And then they left her in the vast emptiness, a pinpoint of light screaming into the void with no sound coming out. These "Void" types scared me more than the traditional "Hellish" types. I often think of them. Ppl who experience distressing NDEs are often deeply traumatised and won't speak about them though they retain the memory for a long time.

@@littleboots9800 the issue with ndes is how arbitrary they are. Doesn’t correlate to what one believed or did in life. And many people that have come back from the dead don’t recall anything.

@@MB-nx9tq of course not everyone experiences them, though I would take issue a little with your calling them arbitrary, they seem to be quite strongly related to the prevailing culture in the studies I've seen and are related to the beliefs of the subject. I would say though that personal beliefs arent necessarily always going to influence the NDE, the motifs you grow up with have a strong influence on your subconcious too. You can be an atheist yet grow up in a Christian country and you will have a template of a Christian view of Heaven or Hell in your subconcious to draw from that could influence an NDE. To be clear, I'm not saying NDEs are proof of God or that these ppl are experiencing glimpses of Hell, more likely their brains are producing these experiences and drawing on the knowledge, memories, narratives that they know. Interestingly the third type are the "Inverse" type where they experience the same things as those who report positive NDEs, (bright light, shooting through a tunnel, shadowy figures, past family members or friends greeting them etc) but instead of reacting to these things positively they terrify rather than comfort them. Going back to the influence of culture, what is seen is that while many may report similar experiences during NDEs, (incredibly bright light is one of the most common,) different cultures relate differently to these same experiences. Comparing Western and Japanese NDEs it was noticed that westerners almost always described the light as a being, and many spoke of communication between the light and themselves. This was almost completely absent in Japanese reports and it seems likely this is down to a lack of religiosity amongst the Japanese participants. Amongst westerners the light was often personified by the more religious as "God" an "Angel" or "Christ" whilst the less/non religious westerners it was described it as some kind of "being of light." The sense of being profoundly loved by the light was also absent in the Japanese subjects but is stressed as one of the most important parts of the NDEs by the westerners. Likely due to the motif of "God is Love" and the descriptions of God as light. Interestingly the two Japanese subjects who did personify the light, felt loved by the light and said it communicated with them were a Catholic and a lecturer in NDEs and spirituality. Borders are common between cultures in NDEs but are expressed differently by various cultures, fog or mist being common in Western NDEs and rivers moreso in Japanese NDEs. There's another study done on NDEs in a multi religious hospital in Sri Lanka with Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist subjects. Buddhists unsurprisingly were far less likely to personify anything in their experiences as a higher power, God, angel etc. It's very interesting. The Japanese vs Westerner one particularly.

Rejoice! The Catholic Church is a man made institution devoid of truth. The Bible is human made and in natural error with irreconcilable contradictions. The truth will set you free. I am an ex Christian. Reading the Bible and looking into the church reveals its falsehood. Homosexuality is amoral, it has its roots in our most ancient past and our animal relatives share these same actions to one degree or another. Religion is man made and faith is no path to truth.

I will say a prayer for you. Am really sorry you feel this way. I dont even know if anything anyone says can make it better which is why in times like this the best thing is to face God. Sometimes I just go to adoration and just sit and look at Jesus and I ask my guardian angel to pray for me when I dont have any words. But yeah you're right straight religious people really do need to be more empathetic towards same sex attraction struggles.

By same logic you can ask why mutation exist? Why people with six finger exist? Why Dwarf exist? Why people without bones exist? Just because mutation exist doesnt mean it normal. It same like saying six finger people is just another race of people. Bible say deformity exist as chalenge for people to overcome. Through this trials we learn something that will be used by God later. Same for example how blind person should born blind so later he learn something from his deformity or inspirred someone else. Idea is we should overcome our flawed nature to reflect divinity.

Pray the rosary every day for this guy. I’ve repeatedly seen it over and over again in my life where praying the rosary rapidly converts people. My mom prayed the rosary for my dad for six months, five days a week, and he is now a zealous Catholic when he was originally an atheist who didn’t care for God.

as a christian (although im not catholic) i believe God created us in His image and, as such, we are here to create. be it civilizations, creating lives, creating art, we are here to create through love, just as God (The Creator) did with us, and because we are made in His image, that is the way we act. so yes, i see it as inherent. we create culture, and since we have sinful tendencies, our culture reflects that. some cultures have norms that are incompatible with these christian virtues and morals, some cultures are more compatible but nonetheless are ever-changing and, as with anything involving humans, also prone to sin...

Also, this isn’t an intellectual sound argument either but rather an emotional argument. ‘We don’t know them so let’s give them a chance to be who they are’(I am paraphrasing). I don’t know how that’s a more intellectual argument than the one that they are making. Which is basically if men were supposed to be with men then there would be no need for different sexes. Also, homosexuality violates natural law. If we were all homosexuals then humanity would die off because we lack the ability to create with the influence of modern science.

But never in the level that husband and wife have. They are completely complementary, they are the perfect example on Earth of the love that the Holy Trinity has. Every other relationship has sprinkles of that, but not at that level. Men and women were made to fit each other perfectly and become one not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually.

@@Dianadicartanow, of course heterosexuality is the norm in the human species, but there has always and will always be homosexual behavior. Many advanced animals have homosexual tendencies, some to a greater degree than humans. Homosexual sex as an act is amoral, just as heterosexual sex is.

The Replisome is necessarily for life and cannot be formed through an evolutionary process to become its current functioning form. If any piece of this amazing molecule “machine” is missing it won’t function. Meaning any mutation stops the machine from working. How can these molecules exist and function to replicate DNA if they cannot be formed through an evolutionary process? Darwin didn’t know the special and amazing molecules involved in the cellular process. Evolution is not the answer to all the processes that happen in a living cell. Evolution is an incomplete theory to say the least.

Oh yes, of course. Like there is no criticism and unclarities around the evolution theory at all. And even if it was. Why would God not have launched that process?
