I want theme to make a “Planet Park” game where we can make resorts, zoos and theme parks.

I don't play either of the games myself as I just love watching the pros, so I cannot judge. :) I just deeply miss high-end Planet Coaster content since all my favorite RU-vidrs stopped playing the game. I love theme parks but zoos don't really connect with me - So I bingewatched your (and DeLadys, silvaretts, etc.) PC-content but rarely watch a PZ-video. Hoping for Planet Coaster 2 to fix this! :)

I feel ya, but I just change up what I do when I get burned out. I have built elaborate buildings to be used as store fronts. Maybe I focus on greenery tricks, or overbuild the interior and details on existing attractions. There’s a lot to do if you get burned on on the main feature of the game.

I love planet coaster but planet zoo got way better treatment from the developers I never thought to play planet zoo but after I tried it I only have played coaster like 2 times since. I feel like planet coaster is a challenge all the time

I stopped playing because they want too much money for DLCs, so you RARELY get any new content. They shot themselves in the foot with greed. Just look at any other developers *cough* EA, Ubisoft, COD *cough* who milked every penny they possibly could. I support respect, not this new-world greed order.

I do wish the mods for planet coaster had come out a bit sooner. They really allow me to do a lot of the things that I wanted to but couldn't before, but now my interest has died after about 900 hours of gameplay

I tried to play Planet Coaster recently and had a fair amount of fun with it, but the differences between the PZ and PC engines eventually irritated me just enough that I dropped the game. However, I am in the exact same boat as a theme park fan in that I cannot wait for a Planet Coaster 2, so that I can finally allow my life to be consumed by something other than zoo sims for a bit XD

I struggle at times also Rudi, but somehow still get my mojo to keep making coasters! I just celebrated my 5 years with this game and counted over 110 coasters and 8,000 plus hours LOL I need a life :P Hope when Planet Coaster 2 comes out we'll see you back !

I completely agree with everything you’ve said. Still, it makes me SO sad. I haven’t been fulfilled entirely, as you have, from your PC videos. I guess that means 24/7 livestreams are necessary for us fans. LOL

Planet Coaster is a very hard game to play. I can't even build a single coaster. The controls suck and I'm not going to waste time playing a game that punishes you for trying to have fun!

Use to play rtc3 to missed the hole planet coaster loved that type of game and then came planet zoo and iam in love again

Planet Coaster is such a good game but I find myself in the same boat - when I want to unwind and recharge I always opt for Planet Zoo or JWE2 nowadays. I really respect you being so honest with your audience and just saying look I feel like I’ve got all I wanted out of this game and it’s time to move on to something new. I’m sure I don’t speak for only myself when I say I love your content for the personality and ideas you bring to your videos rather than the specific game being played so looking forward to seeing your new content whether it includes planet coaster or not! 😊 (And if this isn’t a call for Frontier to make Planet Coaster 2 I don’t know what is! 😉)

I would love to see game like PZ, but building a city with functioning economy - Planet City, with possible builds like PZ and full customization. With such a theme there would be plenty of potential DLC's.

so I got Planet coaster last zear on halloween and I realy enjoyed it. After two months I had over 100 hours playtime and I still enjoy it. I think the main reason for that is that I never touched planet zoo and I havent played planet coaster for so long yet. I realy wanna watch your Planet Zoo vids now and see how cool the game is. It has a discount at the moment but the planet coaster DLCs too, so I bought 2 DLCs in prize of one

I thought planet zoo uses the same engine and assets from planco. What I don’t like in Planco is the poor management part and no water or particle physics. Without I don’t like to build

I have a question, is there a way that the visitors only go in one direction on a path i need smth like this for a path going through a habitat. Is there a way to manipulate that or a mod that can do that?

I think this is Frontiers Dev method. I used to play Theme Park Tycoon, "back in the day". Its the same thing you play it obsessively because its complicated, fun and creative and normally breaking the frontier's of game design and simulation. Then the little bits of gameplay you think is you just not understanding enough to get around, start bugging you. You keep trying to solve it as a challenge and then you figure out its just an annoying thing in the gameplay that is equally annoying and challenging and frustrating. You fall out with the game that you loved playing trying to figure out the challenges that you can't and its become a fight rather than fun, then move on to another brilliant, challenging, creative simulation by Frontier that eventually has the exact same outcome. Its funny reading so many reviews where people play their games obsessively and then fall out with it demanding a next gen to counteract the frustrations. That's just exactly what Frontier do and that's seems to be their design cycle. Don't fix bugs in the game really because that won't be profitable but fix the bugs in the next game to sell them. On it goes. 1999 was Theme Park Tycoon, so 21 years and its exactly the same obsession, challenge, addictive, frustration gameplay. lol

A couple of weeks ago i tried to start playing PC again but i stopped after 5min. The graphics are just way to bad nowadays for this type of game. Rct also has bad graphics but still is fun to me because of the management aspect and nostalgia. PC and PZ both have bad management aspects so for me they need to be on a high lvl of graphics. PC isnt good enough anymore and i am starting to feel that PZ is a 4year old game too so i might stop that soon. It is time for a PZ or PZ 2 and they should stop trying to milk their players with easy dlc at this point

It’s sad how frontier forgot about planet coaster as soon as that zoo thing came out.

These days the only game companies who give me games that I honestly enjoy are Bethesda with moddable open world sandbox games, and Frontier with these huge craftable sand boxes.

I got exactly this place with Planet Coaster vs Planet Zoo - I thought I'd never go back to Planet Coaster after Planet Zoo. However, I then got frustrated with bugs and performance issues when creating fairly complex parks in Planet Zoo (and them not getting better with updates - Just changing - one bug fixed and another added), and further I really like doing rides as opposed to buildings & animals. So, I grudgingly went back to Planet Coaster, biting my tongue on the dated graphics, and last-gen assets. To be fair, Planet Coaster is from 2016 - That is a LONG time to keep playing a game. I really hope they will come out with Planet Coaster 2 someday - I'd buy it in an instant if they solely upgraded the existing PC to the Planet Zoo engine and added on the newer assets.

I quit planet coaster because I put in a bunch of time and I needed to focus more on my career.

I have 593 hours logged and I don't play it much anymore. I feel as we get older, we spend less time playing games, and more time watching videos. I joined the Alpha in April 2016. I played Xbox 360 Minecraft a lot too 11 years ago.

If you "switch" from Planet Coaster to Planet Zoo, you did not quit Planet Coaster.

My reson for stop playing Mario + rabbids kingdom battle because when i first encounter this rabbid called valkire i keep loseing because that rabbid is really strong i could not win, plus the more i keep loseing the more i was geting mad at the game over screen when i was looking at it.

Coaster ist ja auch Teil 1 wenn man so will ( blendet man jwe mal aus). Na klar ist der folge Teil besser, ist doch immer so. Mir bringen beide Teile mega Spaß. Was coaster an künstlichen Sachen hat , hat zoo in Flora & Fauna zu bieten.

I’m a roller coaster enthusiast but I quickly got bored of this game. Like quicker than JWE 1. Nothing about it was interesting to me after like not even 4 months of gameplay. Plus I didn’t like the building mechanics on Xbox.

I will never play Planet Zoo. I love/need to make coasters to break away from all the building and scenery in Planet Coaster. To each their own.
