Dr Sarah, I found your channel today as I am preparing for my final ever final exam of medical school and I can't explain how happy I was to find the representation that I always thought was lacking on YT; a young Muslim British female hijabi doctor. I've watched some of your hospital vlogs and tips for FY1 and I felt so relieved that I could come back and have a look at your videos closer to when I start FY1 in sha Allah. You definitely have a spot on this platform and your experiences and advice would weigh up so greatly for the next gen of doctors bi idni Allah. Thank you so much for taking the time to film, edit and put together these videos. It honestly feels like I've stumbled on a gold mine.
Please don’t quit 😢your channel is amazing and with continuous video upload the RU-vid algorithm will help it grow and it will be widely spread. All the best Sarah
I understand what you are saying completely and I believe you are doing am amazing job with the communication you were talking about. Looking forward to more from you. 👍👍👍👍😊
Dr Sarah, I hope you come back to making videos. I think you are an excellent communicator. You are also a very honest communicator. Excellent and honest communication is rare these days. Your editing and video presentation is also excellent. Your videos about your life as a junior doctor are superb. As a university lecturer who taught the basic sciences to medical students for so many years, I understand how many questions students have early in their course about what its going to be like to work as a doctor. The great unknown creates a lot of anxiety, and even fear. And that can negatively impact on students early years in college. Listening to you speaking about what its really like will help so many young students. Yes, the hours are long and the work is challenging and very difficult at times, but, they will also see how many wonderful positives there are. And that will help, enormously. They can prepare more effectively for the reality and also know about all the positives. Please keep making videos. I wish you every happiness and success in your career.
