I don't understand what you mean by "get away with"? Do you believe you can get one up on somebody? I feel sad for people that need to rely on other people for their success or happiness. I am not giving up jack for what to make somebody feel better? I am just looking to get through every day at this point in time not please somebody. I will say it's better to beg for forgiveness long before asking for permission.
I’ve gotten into trouble for quite a few things, even when undeserved. So I’m gonna need some concrete examples for this one. Lol. Maybe it’s an enneagram difference? Say 8 vs 9?
I've always been able to do whatever I wanted to in life, no matter the situation... school, job, social scenarios, relationships. Every time I've been able to pull it off at work , doing whatever I want to l, coworkers would question me and I would tell them, "You just have to walk around in life like you don't have a boss."
@@GG-rk1bu no, not really because I'm a genuinely respectful and caring person. I don't seek out attention or the spotlight, so the responses I get from others are overwhelmingly positive. I'm a good listener. People always come to me for advice and I never make the interaction about myself. You'll have envious people talk behind your back, but that just comes with it when you're on a different frequency than most people.
Thank you for your thoughtful response. I resonate with that completely. But if I may ask, how do you deal with others bitching/ winning and icing you out just for respectfully stating your opinion? It doesn't happen often but I have a powerful narcissist on my back.
@@GG-rk1bu Let losers lose in peace. If you're respectful with your interactions with them and they aren't reciprocating respect and honoring your opinion let your absence do the talking for you. It's crazy, I actually took a break from reading to check your comment and this passage relates to your situation I believe: "When people are rigid in their opposition to something, it stems from deep fear of change and the uncertainty it could bring. They must have everything on their terms and feel in control. You play into their hands if you try with all your advice to encourage change -it gives them something to react against and justifies their rigidity. They become more stubborn. Stop fighting with such people and use the actual nature of their rigid behavior to effect a gentle change that could lead to some- thing greater."
I appreciate your help, friend. Thank you! Well, this is very interesting and makes logical sense. Luckily I am in a financial position to be absent. However the last part, is that saying it's worthless to try to change their mind? Btw what do you do for work, if I may ask?
Before I understood this about myself, I was doing huge, magical things from a place of "need," and amazing people but I never gave myself credit for those acts. I played smalled. I don't do that anymore. Now that I love myself.
Hello life coach. 15 years ago I discovered I was a INFJ after my boss at work had the employees fill out the Meyers Briggs personality test. I mostly remember being the only one who ended up being an INFJ and being told it was very rare. I really never gave it much thought until a couple weeks ago when we hired a new person and I had to spend the whole day training him. After a hour or so being around me he out of the blue asked me if I was an INFJ. Turns out he is one also and we spent the day taking about it. Now I'm watching all kinds of videos and learning tons. I'm enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing.
I tend to try to get people to see while their perspective is valid, that mine is also. If they don't choose to see things the way I do that's fine, but I will not usually acquiesce to their opinion just to be understood, or to get along.
Yes yes yes yes YES. I have an epic hidden history novel I have written and screenplay I am manifesting. It is going to be an epic tv series. I have gotten tons of rejection and people ignoring me …I am going to get away with this reality
Just because people don’t say anything, doesn’t mean we’re always getting away with it. I do push limits, so maybe people are used to that. I also think people dismiss us as the weird one they don’t understand, so they don’t want to argue. Lol
Since understanding more about being an INFJ, I've obviously come to know more about introverted intuition. Looking back on my life, I realize that while some dreams didn't work out, a lot of them did. Maybe it was choosing to add practicality to my Ni - most likely through Fe. ( I was fortunate to have an intensely practical father who also had a super imagination - I learned a lot from watching him). I make the most progress when working with deams, plans and goals themselves,, and definitely not centering it around just ,"one certain person." It is getting a way to make things more obtainable - by my rules. In fact, I'm often amazed at how many different ways can show up! 🙂
This video is one of my favorites on your channel for sure! I often get visions in my head of an end result and then I try to figure out how to get there. It can be really hard to explain to others because it,s just an image in my head. Sometimes I have to stand really strong when others doubt my visions, but I love the fact that I can imagine it in my head and make it come true in reality. It's the most exciting feeling! :)
I have to agree that in my life, i tend to get away with alot of hardship & trouble. I thought it was a luck thing, but now i know it's the capability to foresee outcomes. Yes, this is certainly an advantage. I am a 42 years old INFJ mom, who just found out my MBTI last year. Knowing my personality group definitely answer alot of my questions, it's like knowing myself in a deeper sense. This year i chose to use full advantage of my brain and so far, i am very happy with the results. Thank you Wenzes for sharing. ❤️ From Malaysia 🇲🇾
I've been having this problem where I'm not sure if someone I like understands me for who i want to portray but you're right. I should stop trying to make them see what I want them to see, and just let them see me :) Thanks for the video!
I literally started my own yt channel after leaving healthcare and devastated the reality of the people around me and how they view me. A lot of people fell off and a lot of people hopped on. I keep pushing!
It hurts sometime letting go of the vision that we all don't have to go though this hard reset. It doesn't have to be this way. My other vision WAS to become independent of you all. I think Wenzes is the General in her boot camp INFJ army.
This one really hits home for me. Was unemployed for a year before my first job in Animation. Lots of people said they didn't think it could work as it was still a young industry in South Africa. Now 7 years in the industry freelancing from home and renting.
OMG ! You are so inspiring Strikingly Spectacular articulation you are the greatest oratator I've ever heard.......I'm at a loss to descibe my perception of your wisdom.
In what areas do I feel like I get away with more than others ? At my workplace, I have been issued a little more parts & supplies as well as having access to such when I need due to me being diligent to keep my portion of the school bus fleet maintained. I like to lean forward and stay proactive. Some of my co-workers take issue with it, yet, I don't let that bother me. I like to have what I need , to do my job. I like to work alone and do quality work.
I love that, my vision is "something that I have to hold onto" on a good note your small figure of friends will either say w your ideas, or you end up leaving it behind
I wonder if this is an issue for many introverted types. Since our dominant function is subjective. A Ti might not need the validation as much, but they still need the manpower to get the job done. And their Ti is subjective, so not as easily sold. Or an si person is stringing subjective experiences together in a unique way leading to unique insight and might not be able to sell others who have different experiences. Just speculating.
INFJ'S do not have that mentality that's not humble that's arrogant and so if you have that mentality it never works out every personality type can be like that when they are unhealthy Just because INFJ'S are only 1% of the population it doesn't mean that they should have their cake and eat it too . I have met 2 INFJ'S they do not act like that they both are healthy well balanced individuals they are kind people and humble .
Hey wenzes.. i got to know my boyfriend online on tinder.. Now i always have some issues telling it to other people how we got to know eachother.. im so thankful that it worked out with him and its the best relationship ive ever had on a same level.. but somehow i kinda feel ashamed of the way.. can you understand?. do you have a tip? When i think about it i know i see it from other peoples perspective... Actually i should not care about other peoples opinion..
