I started to notice he would lag behind me in the grocery store. I just started to walk ahead to complete the task. One time I looked up and caught him starring at me but the look on his face was pure disdain and hate. In the beginning he used to say don't take it personal. I would respond but Im a person! Here I am 8 yrs later engagement off and I am so proud of myself. I don't have 8 more to waste😊

She found court documents w him paying a supplies back rent of 3 k .😵‍💫

After 4 years of confusion and sickness of how he treating me I am now free and enjoying my life and with my kids

Once I quit trying to suppress my rage from their abuse, instead I went full amplification of rage, actively fed that rage and showed them how nasty I can get. The next day she attempted to pick a fight again and collapsed shaking all over in an anxiety attack. My reactions were no longer entertaining, I made them a threat. They were abusing me for entertainment.

My ex-wife had always held me in contempt and I decided to live up to her assessment of me.

Early in the relationship was the very first time I was aware of the ex Narc’s contempt for me. I was befuddled by the entire shift of negative energy and his nerve to display such crappy behavior. Of course it was downhill from there …. I wanted out and I finally opted out.

I used to cringe when I got a compliment because I stole the comment from the narcissist. When we had children I had no part in it. The kids just appeared as gifts that show what a great parent the narcissist is. The constant boredom is a real danger, and it can result in cheating. No such luck for me because the narcissist hates women.

The first reason -- "because you're an autonomous human being" -- helps me understand why my narc female parent and narc ex-husband went into a rage whenever they caught me reading a book. They would actually scream, "READING again!" as though it were some horrible vice. Makes sense now -- I was reading someone else's story, not the self-aggrandizing one they had scripted for themselves.

My narc brother watches my every move at family gatherings. When I arrive, how I enter the house, where I sit, when I speak, if I am the first to leave the room or table. It is all a problem. If I am the first to leave the dinner table or the room, it is a BIG scandal! I arrived to my mom’s house after him and he raged at me. I cannot finish a sentence without him raising his voice, cutting me off and saying something condensing. Often I need to stay quiet and be as invisible as possible when I go to family gatherings. Or just not go at all, which is my new preference. No contact.

Father, siblings, husband and daughter. Daughter is the worst. A malignant narcissist/ psychopath. Abusive. Does things no one would ever believe. She has killed me. I just haven’t stopped breathing yet.

great talking points. but the uno reverse card any victim will play on themselves is taking the bait of regulating the narcissist emotions. the victims automatically becomes their servant, a peasant, nanny theor care taker, their garbage collector. amd the potential victims will be looked down upon and be treated as such. while the narc go out seeking new supply leaving their victim to wallow in pain, self disgust, pity, sad, hopeless, helpless, suicidal, pain, sorrow, low self of worth/esteem, void. these are the true inner core of a narcissist.

I just had to comment to tell you this, but I actually aspire to be a movie and television director and have directed about a dozen short projects to make my way. Narcissistic actors absolutely hate you as a director and I've worked with three narcissistic actors, one of them asked me to film an audition for him, he could not take direction at all or what's called "an adjustment" which is basically asking the actor to try the scene a different way from the way they interpret it, so you might say to them "try this scene as if it's an emergency and you really need help." that may not have anything to do with the dialogue of the scene itself, but it changes the performance (or at least it should) in a dramatic way. Narcissistic actors can't take adjustments, they can only play the scene the way they want, I use adjustments in the audition process to weed out difficult actors, because they will refuse to follow the adjustment. Another narcissistic actress I worked with, I asked her not to forget her cue because another actor was waiting on her cue to leave the room, she threw a tantrum in front of everyone and stomped out like a child. Another actor I worked with was suppose to show up at 5:30am for an on-location shoot, it was that early because the location is empty at that time, as the day progresses it gets filled with people, he showed up two hours late and then we couldn't film, he was boiling with rage until another actor suggested a different location that could work and we moved to that one. Surprisingly most actors are not that narcissistic, but when they are, they tend to be easy to spot because they're very overt.

I totally feel your first point - with my narc, I had always played the character as the low-in-confidence, yet goofy sidekick, and everything was hunky-dory. But when I started taking steps to grow myself into a better version of myself, he started having issues with me doing it, to the point, where he would either try to stop me doing it (he was my "best friend"/co-worker, by the way), or to insult, devalue and browbeat me into a place of low confidence, all because he was afraid of losing his spot as the big man on campus. It took me quite a while to get over his betrayal, because I had asked a question, why would he do me like that? I realise now, because he was never a friend to begin with - he was the overlord, the main character of the story, and to him, I was nothing more than a minion.....

Good lord. My brother blames me for his life long drug addiction because he says he thought of me as a father and I abandoned him by joining the army. I am six years older than he. Yet my actual father who abandoned him because of drugs he is fine with. My narscisstic mother would pertend he didnt exist every time he did drugs. Now that he pretends that he no longer does drugs and I am no longer welcome in the family because I have just caused too much hurt to the family by deploying in the infantry. Because I wanted to make sure I was brave enough to die for a worthy cause. Like a family of my own. God, this video makes so much sense. My wife is zero contact with her family and I am zero contact with mine. Our holidays are centered around our three shared kids. Narcaissists always ruin a good time.

On the other end of not being to help I was able to help with all problems that envy kicks in and they hate you .Why?Because you are above or on the same level now and they are not having that.

Whats interesting is a narcissist cant exist without a empath yet they often sabatoge any relationship.. The biggest problem this world has is people in authority & power, medical, justice system, etc.. with no compassion or emotions that is really required!?

gosh the "script writing "actually explains so so much.. that i was nothing but a "disappointment " but couldnt see for the life of me why...... was because i failed in the role i was given !!!!! my role as a child was to be "a doll" and when the doll has her own thoughts . ways of being, the script writer parent is outraged. That you will ALWAYS fail with these people if you have one bit of autonomy going on in you is a sure fire bet.

Great video, one of my favorites on youtube, excellent and spot on explanations! Everything about the narcissist is fake in the sense that it’s all an act. It’s difficult for most people to actually realize this, until the discard. But they themselves don’t even know it’s fake. They never were able to be genuine, so they don’t even know what it means.

This makes sense. My narc mother and siblings were doing this to me before I went no contact with them all 4 years ago. Best thing I ever did. I wish I had done it sooner. I went off the scapegoat script and their heads almost exploded. There was even a family mobbing that included violence. Can you do a video on the sg child of malignant narc mother who goes no contact after over 5 decades of being gaslit and pulled into her matrix. She turned family and friends against me. Now that I understand narcs, I realize she smear campaigned me from day 1. Due to me being colicky as a baby. These monsters are insane. What do you think happens to an 80 something narc who loses the supply she cultivated for over 50 years? Thank you.

This is on point! The delusions and demands put on you AFTER all the love bombing and idealization is truly heartbreaking and disorienting. I lived in these shadows for many years before being finally discarded, without ever feeling that he truly acknowledged any of the disrespectful, and sometimes dehumanizing rages I endured- and was always blamed for. This disorder is serious, but the worst part is the damage they leave behind to those who loved them. Convinced that they were the victims, they move on to the next person of prey, and begin the cycle all over again. New supply will learn, but it will take time, as he is working beyond his capacity to hold onto this one and avoid being 68 and being alone. I wish she could save herself from the misery that surely waits.

I never realized it before but... Does all narcissists hate us after they discarded us? I mean, if every narcissist with who we get closer to (relationship, close friendship which were going to situationship) - does narcissist in every this case hate the other person? I wonder if they envy us or if if they hate us, and if yes then why?

Even if you could fix them they don't listen to you anyways, only hardcore therapy might help, but the have a huge ego, and won't go unless forced, thats why they don't take showers cause it fogs the mirror.
