We don’t hate kickstart, we just dislike the timing of kicking m1me. The team was playing well with him. It was a shock, many fans are not sure yet if the change was worthwhile.

Im rooting for kickstart, he's very good and simultaniously the underdog who has to prove himslef. The Kickstart-Mime swap change has made things very interesting in the NA scene. I love it and its pretty clear that as good as mime was things werent jeling.

The team was playing well but as Trebizzle said, they are in it for the long term, M1me was always talking about retiring according to his teammates and it's confirmed that he had that sentiment before he got picked up by LG. It's clear M1me doesn't grind this game as often compared to his teammates since from his pubg player history he mainly plays scrims and even so he often times fails to show up making Gunner the subsitute 4th. Coupled with the fact that Tig said for the current roster that each member could go nuclear at any moment which makes the team play with more confidence. This was a solid change. Once Kickstart properly integrates, they will dominate.

Kick is a good and dominant player alone, but Austin makes the Soniqs champion

imma just go ahead and say parts that they left out for the sake of not being toxic. m1me is no doubt a very skilled and gifted player. when it comes down to his work ethic and his will to improve. we never see him ANYWHERE outside of scrims. and sometimes it seems like they scrim pretty irregularly. Argo M1me doesn't improve much. kick, shrimzy, and hwinn. they're always streaming, shrimzy and hwinn maybe not all the time but they do quite a bit, ontop of shrimzy being one of the best fraggers in NA and hwinn having experience in comp dating WAY back to the cloud 9 days with kaymind and prophie. before SQ M1me had NO t1 experience. hwinn gave him the opportunity of a life time and there for a good bit he was rising to the occasion and worked very well with the team. towards the end of his run with SQ we see him getting knocked constantly during every gun fight and SQ would always be a 3 man fighting squads. the argument for this that I always see is "M1me is the play maker" "M1me creates space" no. we've seen what m1me could do, his role was never to get knocked first because hes "creating space". nor is that the case for any other professional team, I've played comp for 2 years and I can confidently say that if u get knocked. it doesn't matter what u did before getting knocked. unless u took like 2 others out with you, ur team is now at a disadvantage. Players are getting better, ALOT better since SQ won worlds. and M1me undeniably didn't improve enough since then to make an impact on their team play. if u keep track of twire, more often then not, hes always at the bottom in pro lobbies. to add to this, he made a retirement tweet right before getting picked up by LG. he tried out for some teams and didn't make it despite being considered one of the best in the world for simply being on SQ. weeks after that he simply was going to give up. that to me just showed that he had no desire to start from a less then favorable position and work his way back up and actually earn the title of being the best in the world, no, he just got picked up by another world class team and qualed after an event that snakers (his teammate) top fragged in, and ofc hes getting credit for it. Kickstart is everything a pro in this game should be, hes talented, he has amazing work ethic, and despite what people say, he has no ego. he streams a lot and I watch them a lot. Kick has earned his spot amongst these guys by proving himself to be a very talented player in every lobby hes in. SQ has just given him a chance to combine his talents with theirs and it was 100% for a fact a good decision. even gunner said hes been working very well with the team and if u know anything about him, he doesn't just say that kind of shit to make people happy. when gunner says something, that's because its true. I want to more than anything to see M1me improve and find success, and as I'm not a pro PUBG player, I've had passions surrounding competition and nobody is grandfathered into the top. and I believe M1me needs to prove himself more than kick needs to because I KNOW kick is looking to improve, he always is and will never stop until hes retired. the idea that SQ is wrong for dropping M1me is bs. they made the hard decision to drop him because it was a one that needed to be made but not one that was going to be liked. but im glad kick is finally getting the opportunity he deserves. and M1me is getting the chance to prove himself again, although I would like to see him make his way back to the top instead of just getting a spot out of what i can only assume was pity. however thats not my choice and i trust LGs choices because they are also talented players. so Good luck to M1me. the hate on kick needs to stop. its annoying and uneeded.

I don't know why people are so upset with this change and can't move on? I obviously feel bad for mime but I've moved on and so happy and excited for the comming tournaments, while kickstart was still a rival i was big fan of him. Let's goo

On 1 of the topics they discussed, mime really is one of the best players in the world in creating space. No pun intended, but i think he's lowkey better than Pio in doing that. When i'm watching I always look for mime on the map on where he's lurking. When it comes to firepower, Kick is better than mime. The chemistry will be a big factor come PGC.

who cares why you picked up kickstart? why did you blow up the most successful 4 man roster in PUBG history (no 4 man line up has won more money and as many events)? it was a known quantity with multiple global titles and multiple regional titles. and doing it mid-season? this experiment could fail spectacularly. even if kickstart is a better player (yet to be seen) it doesn't translate automatically into team success. you have to win 5 major regionals and 2 major global events to even equal that team. as the biggest SQ fan in the world, this feels like a kick in the balls. i hope my loyalty is rewarded with a first place at PGC because no one has defended SQ in twitch chat and youtube chat more than i.
