@@Practitionher Ok, some sources say not to take it more than once in one menstrual cycle, other sources like planned parenthood say that you can take as many times necessary, with this being said… my gf took 3 of them in one week (i know big mistake and will never do it again) however does this affect the chances of getting pregnant? Again some sources say it does, others say no.

I took plan b for the first time last week. Last night, I went to the emergency room because the pelvic pain was intense. I'm never taking a plan b again.

@@TammyJ7628 side effects started Saturday those really bad pelvic pain and ended Monday.

@@karislzrmy gf took 3 in a cycle and it delayed her period for over a month. that was the first and last time we took plan Bs and she went on to start birth control

Me and my gf did it, and i got a little paranoid, i ejaculated outside of her, but I'm a little worried some pre c, came out the condom so she took it within 20 minutes

I took it in a couple of minutes after unprotected sex and I was on my 3rd ovulation day, I’m scared

I ended up having my period and my ovulation day switched from the 25th to the 27th, which is what the pill is meant to do. I got my period three days late from when it was expect, a very heavy flow. After that I got my period again this month the day it was expect with a normal flow. I guess if taken as instructed *BEFORE OVULATION HAPPENS OR HAS HAPPENED* then the chances of it working are high.

Great question and each woman is different but it is not uncommon to bleed after taking plan b , especially If you are close to your expected menstrual period

@@Practitionher what if you already had your period, has unprotected sex few days after period, took a plan b less than 24 hours, and then bleeds for almost 5 days all in one month???

With the dates being so close , you are risking the chance to fall pregnant . Unless you are tracking ovulation with your basal body temperatures, ovulation will be an estimate . We don’t want to play that guessing game if that makes sense

Condoms break. That’s why they made emergency contraception. Or sometimes guys pull the condom off and don’t tell you.

@@Practitionher I went to the doctor 2 days after I put comment in here and do bloodwork and urine test. Doctor told me negative pregnancy. Should I trust?

@@tramnguyen4662 “based on your previous comment” , you could trust the blood work . If You have had u protected sex after taking planB July 28th , then I would retest.

Unprotected sex during period is not nasty . To each its own . But generally, you don’t get pregnant if having unprotected sex during a period (bleeding) . But not 100% . There’s reasons for this . Doesn’t prevent STDs however . Always practice safe sex

With ovulation so close to unprotected sex I would say you are at risk . Mainly because ovulation tracking is an estimate unless you are checking basal body temps. We’re you able to take the plan B ? If not, make a call to your practitioner and discuss your dates and options Best of wishes
